Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. He was talking about cars wars with China. But what kind of politician uses "bloodbath" when talking about an election under ANY circumstances?Trump can barely string a sentence together. Here, he talks about Biden and Obama running against each other. Uhhhhh what year was THAT, Donald? His broken brain continues to fracture. https://t.co/jS5OLknmP2

So this is the election strategy? Trump's as crazy as Biden? LOL!
More reason we need to find new candidates because both of the coots are ready for the rocking chair not the oval office. Mumbles can't even get out that he is Irish and the evil one is in awe of dictators. Not good for any of us and there is no one is better than the other.
Trump knows what he's doing when he uses the term "bloodbath," never mind the context. He's appealing to his thugs who attacked the Capitol on J6 and threatened to kill Pence.
Trump wants to lead his murderous thugs on a bloody rampage again when he loses.
skudrunner What you fail to understand again and again and again is the basic decency of Joe Biden and the promise of chaos, lies, and anti-democracy rule with Trump.
We have two choices. Whining about them solves nothing. You're probably going to vote 3rd party which secures the WH for the man who thinks Biden beat Obama in the last election and promised a bloodbath if he loses.
I'm no fan of Trump. Everyone knows that. He said some immigrants are "not human." He suggested that if he loses the election, America may never have another election. He calls people who beat the hell out of police and defaced the US Capitol to tune of millions of dollars of damage, patriots. He saluted them a choir of police attackers who used the America flag to beat police, as their version of the National Anthem was played.
He's said we should suspend laws and terminate the constitution.
He continues to mangle words, forget who has run in recent elections and has conflated Nikki Haley with Nancy Pelosi. He's sure he beat Barack Obama in one of elections and windmills cause cancer.
But, his comments about a bloodbath have been taken a little out of context.
He seems to be saying, at least to my ears, that the auto industry will face a [economic] bloodbath if he is not elected. When there is so much clear rhetoric of his that is deeply inflammatory, we should let a few of these things slide and focus on the clear BS he spouts each and every day he opens his mouth.
I kinda like what Senator Cassidy had to say about Trump and his language...
“The general tone of the speech is why many Americans continue to wonder, ‘Should President Trump be president?’ That kind of rhetoric, it’s always on the edge, maybe doesn’t cross, maybe does depending upon your perspective,”
Skud... here's the bottom line for me...
Is Biden flawed? Yes he is. Will he have competent ppl around him? Yes he will. Is he a decent man? Yes he is. Does he conflate people who beat police officers to within an inch of their lives with those American hostages held by Hamas? No he does not. Does he refuse to condemn political violence? No he does not. Does he call real people "not human"? Once again, nope.
Has the deficit dropped since he's been in office? The economy improved? Unemployment dropped? Hiring improved? Wages grown? Has government been improving our infrastructure? Do more people have health insurance? has the Stock market improved? Is the US producing more energy and pumping more oil than ever before?
The answer to everyone of those questions is unquestionably yes.
Is there another realistic option besides Trump or Biden? No there is not.
It's like this paraphrase of what former Sec Def Rumsfeld once said... "You go to the election with the candidates you have, not the candidates you might want or wish to have in another election."
So what should we do? Bitch, moan and complain? Or get to work and elect the best option we have?
You tell me what you're gonna do. You know what I'll be doing.
Isn't Obama Joe's "shadow president"?
-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...
"Isn't Obama Joe's shadow president'?"
Only to demented Trumper conspiracists who have mashed potatoes for brains.

Donald Trump used an image I have NEVER heard an American politician running for the presidency use. Ever!
People can disagree on what he actually MEANT and what he was referring to, but there is NO QUESTION in many people's minds that he is again giving out dog whistles to the violent thugs who worship him. It's as though he's warning Americans of what will happen if he loses again.
That is unforgiveable, dangerous, and unworthy of ANY American, not just a politician.
What happened to this country? Who are the Americans who think Trump is worthy of the presidency when those same people saw the chaos, lies, incompetence, cheating, and stupidity of his 4 years in office?
Dave M.
There's no such thing as a perfect candidate for POTUS, since all men and women are flawed.
I did not support Romney when he ran for the presidency because of policy differences, but there was no question in my mind that he was a decent man who would be honorable as a president.
Skudrunner wants perfection, and that doesn't exist.
He'll probably throw his vote away on a 3rd party and make it easy for a disaster to befall our country should Trump be elected.
All the warning signs are screaming at every American on what he and his anti-democracy allies will do to this country.
Either people are for American democracy or they're for Trump. Trump does NOT believe in democracy. He tells us and shows us that every day he opens his mouth.
Is nearly 50% of this nation gone out to lunch? Permenantly?
It is astounding that America is considering a man for the presidency, djt, that is obviously losing mental cognition at an accelerating pace. By November he may be experiencing early stages of Altheimer's disease.
His character is, at best, seriously flawed with a great likelihood he is a sociopath possibly bordering on psychosis.
DJT is a serious threat to our nation's stability and place in the world if he is again foolishly elected to a responsibility and office he has proven himself unfit and incapable of handling. In many more ways than one.
If trump is elected it will, without a doubt, spell goidnight for America and its people.
Here's another opinion on Trump's "bloodbath" comment:
BrooklynDad_Defiant!☮️
I guarantee you that if President Biden or President Obama said anything remotely resembling "if I don't get elected, it's going to be a bloodbath," Republicans would be screaming their heads off.
Words matter, folks. If you're in your 70s, and people constantly have to explain what you meant, you don't belong in office.
Especially after January 6th, if you use incendiary language after the whole world saw you inciting insurrection, why should anybody give you benefit of the doubt?
He did not say “in the automotive industry”. He said “in this country”.
skud might need to look at this
When a criminal liar who praised Hitler and was directly responsible for the bloodshed in our Capitol says, "Now, If I don't get elected, it's gonna be a bloodbath for the whole-That’s gonna be the least of it. It's going to be a bloodbath for the country", we can see his intent.
"bloodbath" sounds like a promise, and "That’s gonna be the least of it" sounds like a threat to me.

IMO, it's Trump's use of violent language that is the problem. It doesn't matter what the subject is, his default for demagoguery is violence, and he uses it in inappropriate messages.
He has only himself to blame for the uproar over his "bloodbath" speech. Those were the words HE chose for that speech.
Now his minions are trying to clean it up.
Too late.
It is never too late for the cult. They are loyal to a fault and will reach to any end to attempt defending their empty vessel.
Trump does like to speak in ways that give him an out. In the end his minions will do his bidding. And if what he says is really stupid he can always say he was joking like when he suggested giving people bleach or dousing them with UV light to cure what ails them. My maga Jewish friend and those like him will never call Trump out since it would expose them as idiots and liars as well. They all know they are on the inside but they still obey W who demanded republicans never admit a mistake.
From Democratic Underground:
"Jen Psaki destroyed the Trump campaign’s spin of his bloodbath comments by providing the full context for what Trump was talking about.
If they want us to consider the full context, let’s do just that because the full context is that Trump kicked off the same exact rally by saluting the people who were convicted for the deadly assault on the US Capitol on January 6th, all to the tune of the national anthem sung by a choir of imprisoned insurrectionists.
The full context is that some of the first words out of Trump’s mouth last night, same rally were thanking those rioters and calling them patriots.
The full context is that he also said in this same rally, quote, if this election isn’t won, I’m not sure that you’ll ever have another election in this country.
The full context is that he went on to say some undocumented immigrants are quote, not people. And of course, the full context is that this is much bigger than one single speech.
This embrace of political violence, this dehumanizing language. This is what Donald Trump has been preaching for years. In January, he warned that there will be quote bedlam in this country. If his criminal prosecution derailed his campaign late last year.
He echoed the dehumanizing language of Adolf Hitler comparing his political opponents to vermin and saying immigrants are quote poisoning the blood of our country last month. He said there would be potential death and destruction if he was charged in the Manhattan criminal probe.
And during his first term, he flat out refused to condemn the political violence at a white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia saying there were very fine people on both sides.
In 2020, he reportedly asked his defense secretary about shooting people who were protesting the death of George Floyd saying, can you just shoot them, just shoot them in the legs or something?
And of course, his very words inspired violence on January 6th 2021 when he told a crowd of his supporters to walk down to the Capitol and fight like hell because quote, you’ll never take back our country with weakness."
Joe et al... Call Trump out? Not gonna happen. Ever.
But something else will never happen...
Neither Trump nor his supporters like -FJ and others like him will never make a positive case for his reelection. What accomplishments do they hope to see from him? How will he "MAGA" and when was the great they want to see return? What policies does Trump favor and his past performance as President suggest he will support that will help him achieve his goals?
Like those trying to defend him in court, all we're likely to see are complaints about the system, as opposed to proof of innocence or policy competence.

The pushback on this "bloodbath" quote did compel me to watch again. He was clear. To read it otherwise would require me to ignore his words and nearly a decade of similar incitement, as if this came out of nowhere, as if he didn't already promote violence as a campaign strategy.
