General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

From a friend:

The worst president in American history & one of the most corrupt, morally depraved persons on the planet is choosing the worst, most corrupt & morally depraved persons to staff his new Cabinet & serve in his new Administration.

Why should anyone be shocked or surprised?

I'm shocked that the MAGAts were still dumb enough to reelect him.

If Trump gets his way, we'll have the first pedophile attorney general of the US!

BREAKING: The woman at the center of the DOJ's probe of Matt Gaetz testified to the House Ethics Committee that he had sex with her when she was 17 years old, ABC News report.

So, when Biden nominated a Black 4-star general and former CENTCOM commander (Lloyd Austin) as Secretary of Defense, it was DEI. But when Trump nominates a white Fox News host to be Secretary of Defense, it’s meritocracy.

A 17 year old had sex with a man over 21?
I bet that's never happened. Oh wait it did. A friend of mine had sex with her science teacher when she was 16. She initiated it .
This was 50 years ago.

Apparently, like Trump, you too don’t believe in following the law. Normal Americans believe in following the law.

Statutory rape is having sex with someone too young to consent. Each state differs on what age that is. Gaetz is credibly accused of having sex with a17 year old, which apparently is against the age of consent where it happened.

The law doesn’t care about your or anyone’s opinion about teenagers having sex with a 30+ year old Florida man or your anecdotal story of 50 years ago.

Are we a nation of laws or just opinions of when a law should be enforced?

To Lisa: “People who lack a foundational understanding of democracy are very vulnerable to rhetoric pushing authoritarianism. They accept undemocratic actions if they believe the outcomes align with their values or goals. They view democratic checks and balances as bureaucratic hurdles and fail to see the long-term consequences of losing them. So, my answer; they don't view Trump as a threat.”
