“He made it very clear to me that the Matt Gaetz pick is not three-dimensional chess to help another nominee get through, that this was what he wanted to have happen,” said Priebus during an appearance on ABC.
He explained that the nomination of Gaetz — who it must be noted is an alleged child sex trafficker — is revenge against those who voted to impeach him during his first term.
“He had a list of who those people were, and almost all of them in the House are gone,” Priebus continued. “He feels like he has gone to hell and back ten times. So, this is also a big middle finger to the DOJ and the FBI.”
In other words, Trump is willing to totally destroy the Department of Justice and empower a fellow sexual predator because his feelings were hurt by the impeachment process."
Felon-elect Trump promised his presidency would be one of retribution. His will be an administration of "payback." Trump was held accountable for his breaking the law; Trump doesn't believe in laws he dislikes.
This is his retribution for being held accountable by the law.

Why would anyone be surprised by the choices You Know Who is making to populate his Administration of Lawlessness.
He told us BEFORE he was reelected what he was going to do. Exact retribution for being held accountable for his lawlessness.

Matt Gaetz allegedly had sex with a minor against an air hockey table
He allegedly engaged in teen sex trafficking and illicit drug use
He admitted to abusing Viagra “to go hard all night”
Even Republicans hate him intensely
