Magnificent. And to think that the light from those stars left them more than two million years ago.

I wonder if, near some very ordinary one of those stars, some unimaginable being is right now studying a similar image of our own galaxy.....

My guess Infidel 753 is that intelligent life does exist in Andromeda and is likely doing exactly that. Or, perhaps they are advanced beyond our wildest imagination and are intergalactic travelers and observing us from an outpost much closer.

In 4.5 billion years Andromeda and Milky Way will collide.
