Trump's been a lawbreaker all his life. He broke the law, was indicted, was found guilty and liable. That's how justice works. You are so marinated in Trump's lies, deceits, and lawlessness that you actually believe he deserves to commit crimes and get away with them.

I suck a firing a weapon (more likely to hit a friendly than the target no matter the amount of practice) so I'm doing what I do best - write comments and tell stories. I was thinking that maybe that wasn't enough when a story I tell came to me - the story of the Halfpenny Nail - I'm sure I've mentioned it here once or twice. TLDR version is this:

I looked to Maddow for inspiration and she didn't disappoint. There is a clip where Maddow is talking about next steps after the election. Lots of great advice but what stuck out for me was the glee in her voice and eyes as she announced that We Who Resist get to be Pirates now!!!!

Trump was indicted, found guilty and liable by juries after hearing the evidence against him.
Mandela was a national hero in his country; Trump is a national criminal in America.
That you compare the two is just another piece of evidence of your unserious gibberish and determination to make a fool of yourself just to be a disrupter.
I'm still trying to understand the minds of the people who voted to have a convicted criminal, adjudicated sexual assaulter/rapist to lead this country. Trump will be America's Orban, Bolsanaro, Berlusconi. People voted for those anti-democracy scoundrels as well.
PS. Trump appointed a woman as his Chief of Staff, -- a first. I hope she protects herself from the Pu$$y Grabber-in-Chief, and has a talk with the 20+ women who've accused the lecher of sexual assault, including the woman he digitally raped in Bloomingdale's and was found liable for doing so.

I can't think of a more apt descriptive of what the next Trump regime will be about.
Donald Trump spent nearly 10 years desensitizing the nation to decency, dignity, truth, integrity. and ignorance while normalizing greed, hate, racism, misogyny, crime, lying, cheating, division, and filth.
He may be president next year, but, he will NEVER have the respect or love of decent, law abiding, honest, compassionate people. Nor will the greasy manipulative lying bullshit of his MAGA lie gain the trust or support when the sleep walking sheeple realize they got screwed as well.
No way to truly understand the minds that accepted Trump's lies, divisive instincts, racism, misogyny, and disgusting behaviors. Other than ignorance (wilfull or otherwise).
We now know the road ahead will ultimately be fraught with problems and challenges that the greed machine of Trump, supporting billionaires, and price gouging corporations do not give one iota of concern to. When wild fires and the effects of climate change worsens perhaps the sleeping folks who voted Trump will realize what they actually did.
I note, hard working presumably intelligent people voted against their own self interest when they voted Trump again.
