Every word in that text put out by Trump is meant to bamboozle you. Gaetz was being investigated by his own people for sex trafficking. There are witnesses. Now that he resigned from his seat in the House, the investigation and the documentation of his foul deeds will end and be hidden.
Trump wants a man who has 2 years of practicing law in a private law firm and was accused of sex trafficking as the Attorney General of the U.S.

Rep. Matt Gaetz's (R-Fla.) resignation from Congress came two days before the House Ethics Committee was set to vote on releasing a “highly damaging” report outlining its investigation into
the Republican, according to multiple sources familiar with the probe.
The committee planned to vote Friday on releasing the report. Ethics loses its jurisdiction over Gaetz when he leaves Congress.
The secretive panel has been investigating Gaetz on and off since 2021.
President-elect Donald Trump announced that he would nominate Gaetz to be attorney general Wednesday.
There's nothing "great" about Trump's "honor." He has none.
Trump has promised to replace his perceived enemies with his own army of ass-kissers, criminals, and incompetents.
All who refused to kiss Trump's ass will be on his retribution list.
This is the way fascist governments behave.

Want To Know What Would Have Stopped Gaetz From Being Nominated
DOJ dropped the sex trafficking charges against Matt Gaetz without issuing a formal reason.
A Gaetz conviction would have sent him to prison for a mandatory 10 years.
When criminals aren't held accountable they get rubbed in our faces.
BREAKING: Republican Senator John Cornyn just announced that he would like the House Ethics Committee to release the findings of the Matt Gaetz investigation. It sure looks like Republicans are going to sink one of Trump’s first nominees.
I wonder if Skud got an administration post yet?
If there were findings on Gaetz why didn't they pursue a conviction
And now... noted health expert Robert Kennedy, Jr., has been selected to lead Health & Human Services.
My mom survived polio and rickets as a child. I wonder where RFK stands on the polio vaccine and other childhood diseases? He's on record in a July 2023 Podcast, that you can actually listen, saying the following directly...
"I think some of the live virus vaccines are probably averting more problems than they’re causing. There’s no vaccine that is, you know, safe and effective."
That alone should DQ him from running THE department charged with safeguarding the health of some 300 million Americans.
I get elections have consequences, but if competence is no longer a qualification for various Cabinet positions and everything hinges on politics, count me out.
Everyday it gets harder and harder to take the current GOP seriously.
Think about it... according to RFK, no vaccine is safe. That's what young mothers will hear, then decide to skip with their new borns. The resulting surge in infant and childhood death will be taking us back to the MAGA Land 1940's before vaccines wiped out most of those childhood diseases and death.

i don't even know how to process the great majority of Trump Cabinet nominees. Even the sailors on the HMS Mothership think most of the more recent ppl are a bunch of unqualified clowns.
But maybe they're happy because at least they are "their clowns"? How can anyone even remotely argue for the qualifications competence of Gaetz, Gabbard, RFK and Noem to head up the departments for which they've been nominated?
It's breathtakingly unserious and puts Americans at danger in service of political motives.
Apparently, you don’t know how the House Ethics Committee works. It’s not a law enforcement organization. The findings probably would have gotten Gaetz kicked out of the House in disgrace, but he resigned from the House, so that’s not going to happen.
Instead, he’s been hand- picked by Convicted Felon-elect to head up the DOJ. Gaetz practiced law for exactly 2 years, then went on to bigger and more exciting things, like doing drugs and having sex with under-age girls.
We knew Trump would drag America into the sewer, we just didn’t realize he’d do that by nominating the sewer rats for the country’s highest offices .
The Trump Swamp has turned into quicksand.
