These tariffs will of course add to the cost of everything from automobiles to avocados. If ppl think Mexico is not raising prices on their green gold to make it hurt the US, they're not paying attention. And why wouldn't Canada also raise prices on the energy we import from them for our midwestern states?

You may want to at times, but restraint is always a better response and more likely to get the results you desire.
