I'm proud of my city that has always been against tyrants and for diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Old South Church:

Old South Church, a historic church in Boston, has a rich history rooted in dissent and social justice. 

It was established in 1669 as a breakaway congregation from the First Church in Boston, known as the Third Church, and later became Old South. 

The church moved through several locations, including the Old Cedar Meeting House and the Old South Meeting House, before settling in its current building in the Back Bay in 1875. 

The church is known for its role in American history, particularly its association with the Boston Tea Party and its long-standing commitment to social justice, including LGBTQ+ rights.

The city of Cambridge unveiled new street signs that include a translation to the language of the Massachusett tribe to honor the Indigenous history of the land where the city now sits.City of Cambridge
