Thank you for this post Shaw. I know my uncle, who served honorably in WW II in a tank battalion at the Battle of the Bulge is smiling from wherever his energy rests today.

The MAGA sheeple who represent An-tifa as a left wing pro fascist movement are employing propaganda tactics that would make Hitler and his Nazi party proud.

America, the country we love, is, with laser focused precision, being fundamentally changed from a democratic republic to a fascist christian nationalist theocracy of their dreams. Why? Because BOTH the acceptance of fascism AND Evangelical christianity much easier to control. And tRump is merely the useful idiot that knew enough to use it to increase his power and security.

Thanks again Shaw.

Shaw, my wife and I have relatives who served and fought for the US in every single war we've had. We're certainly not America haters, as many allege, but here we are.

Hillary was correct when she said "some" of the GOP was made up of deplorable people. Those are the people we've cited here numerous times... the Nazi sympathizers, people who cheer on rapists, white supremacists, that chat crew of Young Republicans, etc.

Do -FJ, Joe C and Skud not see those people as deplorable? Or at least their views as such? We don't know because they've steadfastly refused to say.

But to say the opposing party, the Democrats, is mostly [not some] made up of "Hamas terrorists, illegal aliens, and violent criminals" as WH Press Secretary Leavitt did this week is not only inaccurate and wrong, it devalues the service our family members have given this country since it's founding.

I have a great uncle who won a Silver Star in the Bulge. On the other side of my family two of my second cousins were there. One was killed and the other captured.

My father-in-law served in Patton's Third Army. He was in the 80th Infantry division sent to relieve Bastogne and to liberate Ettelbruck, Luxembourg. Later his unit liberated Buchenwald.

Now Hitler has proteges running our country. The US has fallen. It's up to us to pull it out of the darkness, if it's not already too late.

First lesson I learned on my mental health journey: acknowledging the failings in oneself doesn't mean you don't care or love yourself, only that you acknowledge there are issues which need to be addressed before healing can occur. This lesson carried me through every deep dive I took into my psyche and it is equally applicable to the country I love.

When our opponents claim we hate America because we point out where our country is not only incorrect but on the wrong side of history well, they've clearly not done any work themselves. Or they are stone cold gaslighting us for their own personal gain which totally on point for our corporate overlords.

Dave Miller - our local trolls don't see MAGA as deplorable because if they did they wouldn't be peddling MAGA rhetoric in their comments. They separate themselves from the worst of the worst by telling themselves they are just sitting at the table where there just happens to be a Nazi or two. Thing is, if you sit at the table where there is a Nazi then you, by association, are a Nazi too.

What's the joke? What do you call a table of 11 Nazis when you sit down? A dozen Nazi's.

From all the reading I've done of our hero antifascists from WWII there is no grey in the matter. Either one supports Nazism or one fights it. There is no compromising with a people who believe to their core that anyone who doesn't look, act, or worship like them deserves death and worse.

Some would say that since our reality is the product of our mind's display of thoughts, emotions, perceptions, beliefs, feelings, sensations, conditioning, self cherishing, fears, and more that the neo-fazcists of Amerika are Actualy Projecting Their Own Stuff on Their Perceived Hated Enemies. I think they're right.
