ICE is only in Minnesota because the state didn't vote for Trump. The vice president claims the agent has absolute immunity, and the federal government is shutting state law enforcement out of any investigation. The head of DHS and the president clearly lied about the entire incident, one saying that the agents were "stuck in the snow" (they weren't) when the woman attacked them with her car (she didn't) and the other saying she ran over the agent (she didn't) and the agent was recovering in the hospital (he wasn't.)
This escalated to MAGA (the "don't tread on me" gang) proclaiming that the woman deserved it for disobeying orders. Obey a government order (from a masked man with no jurisdiction or authority over US citizens) or be shot in the face. Stay home and don't make trouble or be executed in the street.
And now Kristi Noem, the head of Homeland Security (same position that Heinrich Himmler held,) has escalated even further.
"Oppose us and we will kill you. Then we will kill your wife. We will kill your children. We will kill your dog. We will kill everyone you have ever known. We will wipe you from the earth."
What do YOU think "one of ours, all of yours" means.
And the maga idiots cheer. Even the 37 year old white ones who live in states that didn't vote for Trump."l

The American Federal Government under the Criminal President Trump is turning America into a police state Adolph Hitler would highly approve of.
There will never again be a free and fair election in the this nation. My bet is soon marshal law will be implemented and continue through the canceled 2026 mid terms. Once the filth that is trump and his regime has dismantled entirely our 250 year old republic America will officially be an authoritarian state controlled by a filthy dictator and his band of murderers.

MAGA land is fixated on "the ICE agent feared for his life" and "if the woman had just obeyed the agent, she'd be alive".
The canard about obedience is a standard line. Good was pleasant as she spoke to the agent, was moving away from him so he was not in danger and was not committing a single crime of which a masked, anonymous ICE agent had jurisdiction.
She might have been cited for impeding traffic, but that would be a misdemeanor, and fall under the local police, which ICE has sidelined, with impunity.
I'm struck by the felt need for ICE agents to wear masks. I'm struck by the federal government refusing to turn over evidence in Good's shooting to local and state authorities. I'm struck by the words from our president and Sec Noem, within minutes of the shooting, calling Good a "domestic terrorist". And I'm struck by the words from the administration that have said people impeding and committing violence against police officers, by definition, are "domestic terrorists", yet somehow cannot apply that same standard to the violent perpetrators of the Jan 6 tourist visit to the Capitol.
Today I was reading an essay by Fmr Navy Admiral Mark Hertling. In it, while writing about ICE agents and soldiers in Iraq, he commented that in 2008 both US and Iraqi soldiers operated without masks [And yes, he had photos].
But it was this line that caught my attention...
"In democratic societies, the use of lawful force depends on legitimacy. Legitimacy depends on accountability. And accountability begins with identification."
President Trump and his administration do not believe anyone has a right to oversee them, hold them accountable or question them. Thus the masks, the stonewalling of Congress, the refusal to abide by our laws, see Tik Tok and the Epstein files, and more.
Daily with their actions, the Trump Admin denies and trashes the COnstitution and makes a mockery of our founding documents.
And the so called patriots among us say nothing.

Indeed Dave. A spade is a spade. A heart is a heart. A club is a club. A diamond is a diamond. To use and analogy Trump and MAGA are the spade and club. Using these tools they club any resistance and with the spade gig up abd root out our founding documents and principles.

MAGA are a distinct minority in this country. The majority of Americans reject their version of what happened because it is a lie. The first statements out of Trump's mouth were lies. The first statements out of Noem's mouth were lies, as were Vance's remarks on the killing.
I just read this morning the the DoJ will NOT open an investigation into the killing for possible Civil Rights violations, as is usual in these cases. The regime has taken on the investigation and is not sharing any evidence with the local law enforcement agencies, as is usual in these cases.
How much more evidence, how many more innocent American deaths will it take for people to understand where we are right now, right at this moment, as we watch Trump's lawless regime shoot Americans in their streets?

Americans sour on ICE amid immigration crackdown shootings
"Americans now disapprove of ICE and support protests against the agency, according to a new poll conducted the same day a federal officer fatally shot a 37-year-old mother in Minneapolis.
Why it matters: President Trump's immigration crackdown is a cornerstone of his agenda, but ICE and Homeland Security tactics have repeatedly sparked protests and legal challenges. The agency's net approval fell 30 percentage points in a year.
Driving the news: A YouGov poll of over 2,600 U.S. adults on Jan. 7, found people don't like the way ICE operates.
About 52% either somewhat or strongly disapproved of how ICE was handling its job, compared to 39% who somewhat or strongly approved.
Just 27% said the agency's tactics were "about right" compared to 51% who called them "too forceful". Another 10% said they were "not forceful enough."
A 44% plurality of adults approved of recent ICE protests, while 42% disapproved.
By the numbers: ICE had a +16 net approval rating last February at the start of Trump's second term, according to YouGov.
That rating cratered over the year to -14 as the administration's immigration policies — including Stephen Miller's plan to arrest ideally 3,000 people per day — took hold.

I talked to one of my sisters living in a Minneapolis suburb last night. Her voice was cracking saying how absolutely horrible it is right now in the Twin Cities. They are literally going door to door, sometimes knocking, sometimes breaking down the doors. She told me of newscasters telling people how to behave if they break down and enter your home. So many businesses have closed. One city councilmember told of going to his favorite independent coffee place to find no one there with the doors wide open. It was obvious that ICE had been there and taken away all the workers. He called police to at least close up and secure the cafe. There was video shown of ICE tackling a teenage boy in a Target. He was screaming he was a U.S. citizen and had papers in his pocket. That didn't matter, they just cuffed him and hauled him away (need to make those quotas, dontcha know). He was screaming for someone to call his mom. They then release these shaken, frightened U.S. citizens, no charges against them, with no way to get back home or call for help.
A Wall Street Journal visual investigation found that the Minneapolis ICE killing is one of 13 times federal immigration agents have used deadly force against civilians in vehicles since July.
Put -FJ, Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew down as okay with the Trump regime's thugs using deadly force on people whether they're undocumented, here legally, or American citizens! BTW, I seem to recall that there was a country in Europe in the late 1930s that did the same thing to human beings they considered undesirable. -FJ's hero, Trump, has announced that he is giving serious thought to denaturalize American citizens and send them back to their original countries (or gawd knows what else). Just a reminder: Nazi Germany did that to the Jews, too.

One of ours, all of yours” was a fascist rallying cry in 1930s Spain, implying a hierarchy where one of “ours” is worth all of “yours.” It is a slogan for collective punishment that has been helpful to many fascist regimes throughout history.
Collective punishment is a practice where entire groups are punished for individual acts (think Islamaphobia post-911). It is FORBIDDEN by Article 33 of the Fourth Geneva Convention, which clearly states “no civilian may be punished for an offense they have not personally committed.”

Not a one of them has affirmed that during Jan 6 dozens of US Police Officers were brutally beaten and their attackers should have been shot dead, as Lindsey Graham argued, yelling at the Senate Sergeant-at-Arms during the evacuation, demanding that they "take back the Senate" and use their guns. He allegedly stated, "We give you guns for a reason. Use them"
