HUNTER BIDEN ON THE PASSING OF SENATOR LINDSEY GRAHAM

This is apt and tragic:

Class act:

 Remember?

Trump on the passing of Robert Mueller, Bronze Star and Purple Heart recipient:

There are people in this country who voted for and admire Trump. IMO, a miserable failure of a human being.

And yet today, I keep reading stories from the MAGA faithful about how evil ppl are to Lindsey. And I'm sure tomorrow we'll read about how bad libs were to Tony Snow. And, and, and...

But none of them will reference how bad Pres Trump was to Mueller, John McCain and others.

I wonder why?

Joe Conservative said...

The MAGA faithful hated Lindsey Graham. It's not the MAGA faithful complaining if liberals trash him.

Les Carpenter said...

Perhaps in a different universe, in a future lifetime, truth, wisdom, and compassion will be the norm. I hope for this. Because in this universe, in this lifetime, the human race has proven itself incapable of all three.

Dave Miller said...

Joe, I have no idea what you are even trying to say. There are in fact, lots of liberals trashing Graham. And there are in fact, lots of MAGA conservatives trashing him as well.

But as if on cue, the Mothership host was quick to point out the 90% wicked, evil comments and then end with this...

"You will NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER see Rightwing commenters say ANYTHING that hateful about ANY Leftwinger who’s died..."

Really? Does she really believe that? Does she really live in such a closed universe? The ignorance is stunning.

Les Carpenter said...

Just like rational, reasonable, honest, and ethically/moral upright people hate trump and his filthy agenda. One Graham supported.

Les Carpenter said...

Ignorance is the bedfellow of MAGA conservatism. And the host of the Mothership expresses it as well as anyone.

The Captain of the Mother Ship rarely, if ever, sees what's in front of her nose. And that, IMO, is deliberate.

Trump's social media post after Robert Mueller (a true American hero) died was, "Good, I’m glad he’s dead."

Maybe the Captain believes that's a loving reaction to the death of a great man?

Actually, her statement shows that her ignorance around what Rightwingers say about the deaths of non-Rightwingers is just more evidence of someone who willfully lives in a bubble and insulates herself from the real world.

She's a lot like Trump in that way.

Shaw Kenawe said...

"Following Senator Ted Kennedy's death in 2009, conservative commentator Andrew Breitbart sparked widespread outrage by launching a sustained, unapologetic assault on his memory via Wikipedia. Over a period of hours, Breitbart posted a series of fiery messages via HuffPost, calling Kennedy a 'villain,' a 'prick,' a 'duplicitous bastard,' and a 'special pile of human excrement.' "

From Trump:

Rob Reiner: Trump was widely criticized by celebrities and politicians after making incendiary remarks and insults on social media following the 2025 murder of the liberal Hollywood icon and Democratic supporter.

Trump sparked immediate backlash following the December 2025 homicide of filmmaker Rob Reiner and his wife, Michele. Rather than offering condolences, Trump published an incendiary post on Truth Social baselessly blaming their deaths on the anger Reiner caused through "Trump Derangement Syndrome."

Melissa Hortman: Following a 2025 shooting that claimed the lives of Minnesota Democratic State Representative Melissa Hortman and her husband, Trump used the tragedy to mock Democratic Governor Tim Walz.

Trump declined to reach out with condolences, drawing bipartisan criticism for his partisan rhetoric in the wake of a deadly attack on lawmakers.

A Shaw,

I also truely believe that the FBI and DoJ are dirty as hell. That they launder illegally collected NSA data and launder evidence to perform "parallel construction" and fabricate illegal cases through FBI Contractors like Perkins Coei (which is what the whole fake Trump-Russia server operation was). They're too lazy to do legitimate crime fighting and evidence gathering work.

Shaw, let's not forget POTUS Trump was also pretty uncivilized, to say the least towards John McCain and Colin Powell on their deaths and retweeted posts mocking and making fun of Paul Pelosi being beaten with a hammer.

But yes, that's loving and not wicked or evil in the eyes of some.

Dave Miller said...

No Joe... she is not my mirror image, not am I hers.

I tolerate diverse ideas, opinions and more. I'm critical of my "side" quite often and anyone who is honest knows that. I know many and have defended, even here to the chagrin of some, Trump supporters who are good honorable people. I've never said they only want to destroy America. I've never said their ideas are evil.

Have I been critical? Of course, and sometimes I've crossed the line. But when presented facts, I've never attacked the person presenting them as nasty and evil.

The mirror image. That's rich amigo.

You are right, she is who she is. But she is not who she believes she is. Is what she writes accurate and evidence based? Not usually. Are her writings racially insensitive and xenophobic? Yes they are. But I can see her heart.

She genuinely wants a better America. And so do I and everyone posting here. And I believe everyone posting there, including you, want and desire a better America.

My so called "mirror image", nor any of her regular posters, will ever say that.

”The Horowitz report was produced by the Department of Justice's independent, non-partisan Office of the Inspector General (OIG), meaning it is considered a legitimate and official investigative document.

Rather than completely vindicating either side, the report’s findings were complex:Investigative Origins:

The Inspector General found that the FBI had a legitimate and authorized basis to launch its initial 2016 investigation into the Trump campaign (Crossfire Hurricane).

Lack of Political Bias: The OIG review concluded there was no documentary or testimonial evidence that political bias or improper motivation influenced the FBI's decision to open the investigation.”

I’m NOT her mirror image. Saying so doesn’t make it so. I try very hard not to publish false or inaccurate posts. When I make mistakes, I try to rectify them them as soon as I discover them.

I don’t have an echo chamber. Your presence ( and skud’s and the occasional rightwing Anonymous or WYD escapee) here is proof of that.

No contrary opinions not even corrections to her misinformation are allowed at the Geeez blog — her blog; her rules.

And even her claim that rightingers never hatefully disparage leftwingers’ deaths is not true. She publishes what her biases think is true, not facts.

Joe Conservative said...

Just as the DoJ OIG is not permitted to investigate Executive agencies other than its' own, The Mueller team (Weissmann and McCord) successfully used the silo process to hide the deception, and John Durham was instructed by AG Bill Barr NEVER to investigate internal DC actors within the Legislative or Executive branches for their conduct, participation or role in the Trump targeting effort. In other words, all the investigators wore blinder that limited where they could look and go.

Here you changed the subject AGAIN. Can you explain to me why you brought this up on a thread about the death of Senator Lindsey Graham?

I answered the one referring to OIG, I shouldn't have because THAT'S NOT WHAT THIS POST IS ABOUT!

Hunter Biden's post on the death of Senator Graham most certainly IS a class act.

Hunter Biden is a recovering addict, who posted inappropriate photos of himself while deep into his addiction.

Hunter Biden has been sober for over seven years. He has openly discussed his sustained recovery journey, using social media platforms and podcasts to share his story and connect with the recovery community.

Hunter Biden and all who have struggled with addiction are to be admired for their strength and determination in dealing with and recovering from their addiction.

I have a family member who is a recovering addict. That person did just as many reprehensible things in their addiction, but is now 15 years into their recovery and leading a perfectly good, clean and admirable life.

You choose to bring up Hunter Biden's past life and not what he's doing now? Why is that?

Meanwhile, I have NEVER read anything from you disparaging the current resident in the Oval Office who is an adjudicated rapist and who was deeply involved with Epstein and Maxwell who trafficked children to rich and powerful people to rape (all while sober at the time because he doesn't drink or do drugs, as he's claimed -- so what's his excuse for his reprehensible behavior?) No one with a functioning brain believes Trump didn't know what was going on with those two convicted pedophiles. No one, except your pals on the Mother Ship.

You're pretty silent on that aren't you?

Normal people would call that galloping hypocrisy and a double standard.

No. I'm not Z's mirror image. You get to post here. She's terrified of anyone exposing her prejudices.

JoeCon: "St Mueller was no saint. He ran a dirty shop before Comey, and then after, as Special Prosecutor."

That's an opinion, not a fact. And, as is usual with you, it's also a CONSPIRACY THEORY RAMPANT AMONG MAGA and other people who traffic in conspiracy theories.

"There is no credible evidence that Robert Mueller ran a "dirty" FBI. Widely respected across party lines, Mueller served as FBI Director from 2001 to 2013. Under his leadership, the bureau shifted its focus from standard criminal investigations to counterterrorism following the September 11 attacks.

While some political figures and MAGA commentators have criticized his tenure and the subsequent 2017 Special Counsel investigation as politically motivated, official government reviews, Justice Department investigations, and bipartisan congressional assessments have found no evidence of institutional corruption or an illegal "deep state" conspiracy.

Reviews and Investigations:

Inspector General Reports: The Department of Justice Office of the Inspector General conducted exhaustive reviews of FBI conduct during the 2016 election and the subsequent Russia probe. While these reports identified errors and institutional biases among specific personnel, they did not conclude that the FBI as an agency was systemically corrupted by leadership.

The Mueller Report: Mueller's investigation resulted in 34 indictments and multiple guilty pleas, including convictions of Trump campaign associates who lied to federal investigators."

These were BIPARTISAN investigations and conclusions WHICH YOU DON'T LIKE BECAUSE THEY DO NOT FIT YOUR CONSPIRATORIAL AND PARANOID FANTASIES.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Multiple official investigations, including the exhaustive 2019 Mueller Report and the Department of Justice Inspector General's report on the origins of the Russia probe, found no evidence of a political "deep state" conspiracy to disrupt Donald Trump's candidacy or presidency.

These investigations concluded:

Legitimate Predication: The FBI's initial investigation (Crossfire Hurricane) was properly launched based on credible intelligence regarding Russian interference and contacts with the Trump campaign, not political bias.

No Criminal Conspiracy: The Mueller Report did not establish that the Trump campaign knowingly conspired or coordinated with the Russian government to influence the 2016 election. However, it did detail extensive Russian interference operations and multiple campaign contacts with Russian-affiliated individuals.

Obstruction Evidence: The investigation did not exonerate the President of obstruction of justice. It outlined multiple instances where Trump attempted to impede the federal proceedings.

While the DOJ's Inspector General Report heavily criticized the FBI for significant errors and omissions in its applications for surveillance warrants targeting a campaign aide, it explicitly concluded these failures were not driven by political animus or a coordinated conspiracy against the Trump campaign."

You keep calling him an "adjudicated rapist". Show me the adjudication.

ps - It doesn't say "rapist". And it was a civil lawsuit, not a criminal charge. Not even a misdemeanor. The standard of evidence is very low... a "preponderance of evidence" not "beyond a reasonable doubt." So I can have "reasonable doubt" that he did anything to that bimbo.

Shaw Kenawe said...

”A federal jury found Donald Trump liable for sexually abusing and defaming writer E. Jean Carroll, but did not find him liable for rape under the narrow technical definition of the New York Penal Law. However, the presiding federal judge later clarified that the jury's verdict means he committed acts that constitute rape in common modern parlance.

The legal distinctions and case outcomes are as follows:The 2023 Verdict: A Manhattan federal jury found Trump civilly liable for sexual abuse and defamation, awarding Carroll $5 million. The jury specifically rejected Carroll's claim of rape under New York's previous criminal statute, which required proof of forced penile penetration.

Judicial Clarification: The presiding judge, U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan, explicitly clarified that while the jury did not find Trump liable for rape under the narrow New York legal definition, their finding of sexual abuse implicitly meant he forcibly penetrated Carroll's vagina.

Judge Kaplan noted that in common, modern parlance, the jury's finding means Trump committed rape.

The 2024 Verdict: A separate jury ordered Trump to pay an additional $83.3 million in damages for defaming Carroll in 2019.Appeals: Trump's attempts to overturn the verdicts and have the Supreme Court hear his appeal have been rejected.”

Trump is an adjudicated rapist. It doesn’t matter what kind of court found him liable for his actions. Not even the SCOTUS will take up his appeal to deny E. Jean Carroll her damages.

I’m not going to post any more of your demands to prove Trump did what he did. The court decision stands. Trump is an adjudicated rapist.

Shaw Kenawe said...

So, is Platner’s accuser a “bimbo” as well? No jury, civil or criminal, has found Platner guilty of anything. Yet your defamation of E. Jean Carroll implies Platner’s accuser is a “ bimbo.”

Typical manosphere reaction to rape case like he doesn’t like — he blames the victim, and demeans her by calling her a “bimbo!”

Meanwhile, will we’ll put you down as defending a swine like Trump and his inability to control his sexual urges. How masculine of you.

This post from Joe C, among many, really caught my eye... "Hunter Biden is a drug addict who posts naked pictures of himself smoking crack and cavorting with prostitutes."

First of all, like a lot of what Joe C alleges, it is not true. Hunter Biden never posted "naked pictures of himself smoking crack and cavorting with prostitutes". Never. Maybe Joe C can explain why he is lying? He's shown he knows how to us AI, so this is an easy fact check.

But maybe Joe C does not care about truth.

But there's another part of this... Hunter Biden either is, or was a crack addict. It all depends on whether you go the AA "once an addict, always an addict" route.

Which means Hunter is either in recovery or has recovered. But we all know addiction is a bad friend that can come around again at any moment.

Maybe however, Joe C does not believe in redemption, which for many Americans is a defining trait in our culture. We believe someone can change, get better and redeem themselves and their lives.

Historically, if someone owns up to his or her faults, and works to atone for the errors of the past, we accept the new model. George W Bush, a drunk early in life is but one example.

Apparently Joe C does not believe in redemption.

Les Carpenter said...

Neither JC or MAGAs in general care about actual truth or that a person has redeemed themselves through facing their problem and working diligently to change their behavior(s) and reflect a different reality for themselves and others. Unless of course they are a republican MAGAt.

Then there's the truth they willingly and gleefully support and idolize a rapist, insurrectionist, malignant narcissist, liar, war monger, and in general a disgraceful human being.

I for one cut JC and MAGA no slack. Nor do I have an iota of respect for them or their hypocritical bullsh*t. In my opinion they represent American low life and abject evil.

Dave Dubya said...

"So I can have "reasonable doubt" that he did anything to that bimbo."

Right. Never mind the Criminal President REFUSED a DNA test, just like any GUILTY person would do if had the chance. I bet JC will insist Trump has nothing to do with covering up the Epstein files as well.

"Character" matters, right, JC?

"Good, I’m glad he’s dead." Endorsed by our resident authoritarian sociopath.

JC is good with this vile hate. He attacks the memory of a decorated veteran to shield his Criminal President. In fact, JC will insist Trump the Pure-Hearted never broke the law and his campaign never had unreported contacts with Russians.

St Mueller was no saint. (The go-to phrase by the Right to demonize real victims.) He ran a dirty shop before Comey, and then after, as Special Prosecutor.

He shows no evidence to support this. In fact, he is incapable of making the same accusation against Patel and Blanche, as they serve as the Criminal President's corrupt lawfare hitmen.

Shaw Kenawe said...

When you take into account many of JoeCon/-FJ's comments here, one thing stands out -- their eagerness to defend Trump's bad behaviors and condemn anyone who isn't on his team for the same bad behaviors.

JoeCon/-FJ's moral disengagement and ethnocentric biases are blatantly obvious when he dismisses Trump's legal judgements for sexual assault "less than a misdemeanor" and calls E. Jean Carroll a "bimbo," and then makes sarcastic remarks here about Platner's sexual assault accusations -- who, BTW, hasn't been charged, indicted, nor found liable or guilty of anything as of yet, unlike Donald Trump who has and who has been credibly accused of sexual harassment and assault by over 20 women.

They accuse Robert Mueller of running "a dirty shop" as FBI director and as a special prosecutor, and give zero evidence. It's an opinion, and nothing else.

I've looked everywhere on the internet to see if any of what he said about Mueller is even remotely factual. It. Is. Not. All JoeCon gives as "facts" are conspiracy theories and paranoid musings. Never facts.

And add to that his disgusting smear of a real American hero, Robert Mueller.

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

I sincerely doubt a DNA test for a fake crime never reported to the police years after the statute of limitation had run out would prove anything. there nothing to match it to.

Shaw Kenawe said...

You can doubt all you like, but a court of law found Trump liable for the sexual assault of E. Jean Carroll, and she was awarded millions of dollars from Trump for his defamation of her. None of your speculation about anything changes those facts.

The MAGA universe showed its moral compass very clearly when it decided that a sexual assaulter, (who was actually heard on audio tape BRAGGING about his ability to sexually assault whomever he wanted), was what this country deserved as its leader. That creep, that insidious worm is what MAGA admires and supports.

The stench of Trump will stay with every MAGA for all eternity.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Thank you Dave M. for clarifying that Hunter Biden DID NOT post nude images of himself on the internet. I should have corrected JoeCon.

I'd be spending every hour of my day correcting his conspiracy theories, paranoid musings, and plain wrong information he posts here.

-FJ the Dangerous and Extreme MAGA Jew said...

as will the stench of Chappaquidik ever taint all Democrats.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Wow! You had to go back 57 years to come up with something that is NOT comparable to the stench of Trump! In any way!

I'm not making excuses for what happened almost 60 years ago in Chappaquiddick. Kennedy was totally wrong in the way he handled the accident, he was too concerned with his political career and not the life of Mary Jo.

HOWEVER, unlike the swine, Trump, Kennedy publicly addressed his conduct in a televised broadcast days after the incident, and again in his 2009 posthumous memoir, True Compass, where he described his actions as "inexcusable" and wrote that "atonement is a process that never ends".

Trump, who told the world in the Access Hollywood tape that he actually gleefully sexually assaults women because he's a star, defamed his accuser and couldn't control his lying mouth to the tune of $80 million for defamation.

Trump never admits wrong doing, never apologizes. That would be something a human being with decency would do at best, or keep his lying mouth under control, at the least. Trump has NEVER shown any human decency in anything.

So no, your comparison doesn't hold.

And the stench of Trump, the adjudicated rapist and best friend of pedophiles , Epstein & Maxwell, will stay with MAGA and the GOP for eternity.

Dave Miller said...

Since this is a post on Lindsey Graham, let me bring us back around. Here's how Sen Graham thought about Candidate Trump back in the day...

Trump is a “race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot. He doesn’t represent my party, he doesn’t represent the values that the men and women who wear the uniform are fighting for.” Later, Graham described Trump as “shallow” and “ill prepared to be commander in chief”. He said Trump is a man who “doesn’t know what he’s talking about in terms of how our laws work.” Even after Trump won the nomination, Graham said he wouldn’t support him in November: “I would have supported Rand Paul and Ted Cruz. I just can’t go where Donald Trump takes the party and the country. I’m sorry, I can’t.”

So what happened? Did Trump reverse course, become more moral, more trustworthy, knowledgeable about our laws and less of a "race-baiting, xenophobic, religious bigot""

Of course not and Sen Graham has never asserted that.

Instead, it was Sen Graham who admittedly sold his soul and himself changed for the proximity to the power he himself craved, as evidenced by his own run for the presidency.

RIP Sen Graham. Back in the day you had morals, values and the wherewithal to stick by them

But sadly you passed away a shell of the man I admired when you were in the House and a Jr Senator from South Carolina.

Enter Hunter Biden, stage left per the Meidas Touch FB page:

Hunter Biden wrote:
“Last night Donald Trump released a declassified document that says his own intelligence community identified Putin as personally running an operation to defeat my father in 2020, built around a fake Burisma corruption scandal centered around me and executed through prominent Americans.
Trump tasked his personal lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, to fly to Kyiv and meet a known Russian agent.
The Americans who ran, laundered, and legitimized the operation:
Donald Trump. Rudy Giuliani. John Solomon. Joe DiGenova. Victoria Toensing. Lev Parnas. Igor Fruman. Chanel Rion. Sean Hannity. Steve Bannon. Miranda Devine. Ken Vogel. Ron Johnson. Chuck Grassley. James Comer. Jim Jordan.
To name a few.
An operation formally sanctioned by Trump’s own Treasury Department on September 10, 2020, and expanded to include more named actors on January 11, 2021.
Oh, and don’t forget the Russian-linked FBI informant Alexander Smirnov, who later pleaded guilty to making the entire Burisma bribery story up.
The record exists and we have all the receipts, and more.”

The post comes after Trump’s speech and his release of newly declassified materials, with Hunter Biden noting that the documents themselves reinforce long-standing findings that Russia sought to influence the 2020 election through a disinformation campaign built around false Burisma allegations.
