"When someone shows you who they are, believe them..." --Maya Angelou

Between the thousands of texts we saw written by up-and-coming young Republican men and women, extolling Nazis, Hitler, making jokes about gas chambers and rape, and approving slavery, and now this, I no longer listen to anyone who tells me "it's just kids talking and satire."

This is the moral rot and degeneracy Trump has inflicted on our country that reflects Trump's corrupt, indecent character, and which many of us knew he possessed. It is now infecting our government.

Trump nominee says MLK Jr. holiday belongs in ‘hell’ and that he has ‘Nazi streak,’ according to texts

"Paul Ingrassia’s bid to lead a whistleblower agency is set for a Senate confirmation hearing Thursday.

Using an Italian slur for Black people, Ingrassia wrote a month earlier in the group chat seen by POLITICO: 'No moulignon* holidays … From kwanza [sic] to mlk jr day to black history month to Juneteenth,” then added: 'Every single one needs to be eviscerated.' ”

*The term moulignon is an anglicized and derogatory slur used by some Italian-Americans for a Black person. It is not a standard Italian word. Its origin comes from Southern Italian dialects, including Neapolitan and Calabrian, where the word mulignana means "eggplant" or "aubergine". The slur uses this word for its dark color. The standard Italian word for eggplant is melanzana.

I do have a Nazi streak in me from time to time, I will admit it
Paul Ingrassia to a group of Republicans, according to texts viewed by POLITICO

“I do have a Nazi streak in me from time to time, I will admit it,” Ingrassia responded, according to the chain. One of the people in the text group said in an interview that Ingrassia’s comment was not taken as a joke, and three participants pushed back against Ingrassia during the text exchange that day.

Paul Ingrassia:

From Occupy Democrats:

BREAKING: Top Trump nominee gets caught in a horrifying Nazi text leak scandal as it’s exposed that he admitted to having a “Nazi streak” and wants “white men” to lead.

You read that right: Donald Trump’s handpicked nominee to lead the Office of Special Counsel — the agency meant to protect whistleblowers and fight discrimination — is a white supremacist who called Martin Luther King Jr. Day “a holiday that belongs in the seventh circle of hell.”

His name is Paul Ingrassia, and his texts read like something torn from a neo-Nazi group chat.

Ingrassia, a 30-year-old Trump loyalist with a law degree and a God complex, bragged that he has “a Nazi streak,” ranted that “we need competent white men in positions of leadership,” and declared the Founding Fathers were wrong to say that all men are created equal.k

Yes, the guy Trump wants in charge of civil rights complaints literally said equality was a mistake.

Ingrassia didn’t stop there. In text messages obtained by POLITICO, he slurred Black Americans, mocked Juneteenth and Black History Month, and smeared Dr. King — the man who helped redeem America’s soul — as “the 1960s George Floyd.”

And when called out by other Republicans in the chat for sounding like a racist, Ingrassia didn’t back down. He doubled down.

“We should celebrate white men and Western civilization and I will never back down from that,” he wrote.

This is the kind of man Donald Trump and his MAGA cronies think deserves a lifetime job overseeing fairness, equality, and accountability in the federal government.

Let that sink in.

This isn’t “edgy humor.” It’s not “out of context.” It’s open, unfiltered white nationalism — in 2025, in the highest levels of government.

And the excuses are even more insulting. His lawyer claimed the messages were “self-deprecating humor” and said Ingrassia “has incredible support from the Jewish community.” Oh, please. That’s like claiming a Klan rally is just a “costume party.”

Meanwhile, Trump — who once called white supremacists “very fine people” — hasn’t said a word to condemn him. Instead, his White House is quietly trying to ram through this nomination while hoping the headlines fade.

But they won’t. Not this time.

Because this is who the modern GOP is:

A party that nominates racists to civil rights jobs.
A party that shrugs off hate speech as “satire.
A party that would rather burn down democracy than admit moral failure.

Dr. King dreamed of an America that judged people by the content of their character. Trump’s America judges them by the color of their skin — and then gives the racists a government paycheck.

The current POS occupying the now very dark and sinister black house in dc, is nothing more than a sitting blob of orange human excrement that should be shoveled into the nearest landfill. Left as fertilizer in the very earth his policy's work to destroy.

The "man" now in charge of destroying America is certainly not the only, or biggest, POS in Amerika. He's just the 21st century spawn and spearhead of Nazism and pure filth and abject evil in Amerika today.

And the REAL moulignon is the filth known as Ingrassia.

The attitudes displayed by the Young Republicans and Ingrassia are exactly what Trumpism is and what the Republican Party has become. They are not an aberration; they represent what many Republicans believe in private.

They're making Nazism Great Again!

Ingrassa's lawyer started the defense yesterday. Naturally he began with the present day dodge of I was hacked when he said...

"they might have been manipulated or were missing context..." but then he went full in defending them as jokes...

“However, arguendo, even if the texts are authentic, they clearly read as self-deprecating and satirical humor making fun of the fact that liberals outlandishly and routinely call MAGA supporters ‘Nazis.’”

Look, here's what President Trump should say as he jettisons Ingrassa...

"I am pulling the nomination of Mr Ingrassa. I was only aware of his hard work as a lawyer but once I heard about this I knew he had to go. So I fired him. We cannot have leaders in the GOP, the White House or public life openly espousing these views. We beat the hell out of the Nazis and I'm not letting them into the White House on my watch."

But he won't. Because as even Skud has now admitted...

"... he [Trump] is the most disgusting president ever. For someone who is smart he goes into his childish mode and insults everyone. To insult democrat politicians is expected but to have this AI generated commercial is not presidential and an embarrassment to the country. You can't impeach a president for being stupid otherwise he would one of many so we will have to put up with him for three more years.

The larger question we face is how should we interpret this moment. Independent of the Nazi remarks, let's not forget that Ingrassia and the Young Republicans, future leaders of the GOP, were also caught outwordly approving of racism, misogyny and anti semitism.

We should also not forget that likely future GOP Presidential Candidate JD Vance has defended the remarks of these GOP leaders. Finally, at last a couple of GOP National leaders have stepped forward and said Ingrassia's statements are too much and he will not be approved by the Senate.

And to think back and realize that my former affiliation with, and support for, the now tRumpubplican party (formerly the party of Lincoln) up to GWB's first term helped to create what has become this country's greatest shame, next to the slavery it embraced to acquire cheap labor to build wealth for white people.

Our futures are looking very very bleak, right now, and in many ways threatening at very deep levels. I have a sliver of hope, as small as it may be, that there remain enough decent, compassionate and loving people in the country to vote the whole lot of the filthy indecent fascist out of office and land them on their asses on the unemployment line. For years to come.

OT, sort of... CBS News reports that a man was arrested after sending texts that he planned to “eliminate” House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries at an event in New York City last weekend. “I cannot allow this terrorist to live,” Christopher Moynihan said in a text message, according to a court filing. “Even if I am hated, he must be eliminated, I will kill him for the future.”

Moynihan was a convicted January 6th rioter. He was among those pardoned by Donald Trump in January.

When they tell you who they are and what they stand for, as they did on Jan 6, believe them...

Neo-Nazis infect the party of President "Hitler did a lot of good things" Trump.
The more hateful and racist they are, the more "qualified" they are for the Tangerine Tyrant Diarrhea Don.

Who is (are) the terrorist(s)?

The above named sicko. DJT, and his fascist Christian Nationalist party.

This sh*t, and sh*t it is, ain't going away. It's being celebrated by the moronic imbeciles that either stopped thinking for themselves or never started.

How anyone can support sh*t in public office once they see it is beyond my ability to comprehend.

I get why people originally considered the SKoA back in 2015/2016 as in ways Obama and dens squandered a real opportunity for deep structural positive systemic change. But once seeing the sh*t the KSoA and his party has delivered you'd think those folks would wake up. Or, maybe, it's the Gen Z and Gen X that have been propagandized to the point of accepting sh*t running the country is an admirable path to follow..

I made this comment to a Substack post about Ingrassia:
Ingrassia is the quintessential trump pick!! trump has a long history of picking individuals to lead federal agencies who have previously expressed opposition to the department's mission or are seen as ideologically at odds with the department/agency. What better way to dismantle parts of the federal government!
