Not a shock. the polls have been saying this for awhile now. Just proves that America has a LOT of stupid people. Again, not a shock.. :)
I'm going to enjoy watching the Repubs lose the WH, Senate, Supreme Court and most of the House. They deserve it, they worked for it and dammit, I will enjoy them getting it.

A lot of Trumpistas are doing an early presidential victory dance. Facts and reality never get in their way. For those of us who live in the real world, there's this to think about:

[I]n February, the Hummel/Rothschild fundamental model gave the Democratic candidate a 48 percent probability of winning — and now gives the Democratic candidate a 53 percent probability of winning, because of Obama’s surging presidential approval numbers. But whether it’s 48 percent or 53 percent, that would be a relatively tight election.

That result, however, is only relevant if we imagine a generic Democratic candidate running against a generic Republican candidate — clearly not applicable to this year’s election. In this cycle, the likely candidates — as of this writing, in all likelihood, Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump — generate plenty of controversy. Polling and prediction markets on the other hand examine the actual Democratic and Republican candidates. And while the data aren’t extremely clear, our models suggest that the likely Democratic candidate is in firm control.

Politico reported today on a Florida poll conducted for a business group in the state that shows Hillary Clinton beating Donald Trump by 13 points and Ted Cruz by nine.

Why is that important? Because if Clinton wins Florida and carries the 19 states (plus D.C.) that have voted for the Democratic presidential nominee in each of the last six elections, she will be the 45th president. It's that simple.

And this:

"A general election matchup between Donald J. Trump and Hillary Clinton became all but certain on Tuesday after Mr. Trump’s decisive victory in Indiana.

He would begin that matchup at a significant disadvantage.

Yes, it’s still a long way until Election Day. And Mr. Trump has already upended the conventional wisdom many times. But this is when early horse-race polls start to give a rough sense of the November election, and Mr. Trump trails Mrs. Clinton by around 10 percentage points in early general election surveys, both nationally and in key battleground states.

He even trails in some polls of several states where Mitt Romney won in 2012, like North Carolina, Arizona, Missouri and Utah."

Ducky, what a ticket: The Vulgarian and The Glutton.

Anon, the people of Indiana were disgusTED.

Jerry, the fact that he'll be the nominee of a major American political party has already made the U.S. a laughing stock and embarrassment in front of the world.

"The former KKK leader said that Republican elites have been working to undermine Trump just as they worked against him when he ran for governor of Louisiana as a Republican in 1991. He particularly took issue with Trump’s former Republican rival Ted Cruz taking money from a “Jewish leftist commie,” arguing that Jewish financiers are bent on “destroying the Republican Party” by targeting people like Trump and himself.

“Jewish chutzpah knows no bounds,” he said."

Sounds like that awful person who used to post awful poetry here on your blog Shaw.

Don't count trump out. The American voter has proven their ignorance in the past two elections and they may make it three.

skud: "Don't count trump out. The American voter has proven their ignorance in the past two elections and they may make it three."

Written by a member of the political party that thought Sarah Palin would make a great president if she had to replace John McCain.

Actually, skud, the American people showed their intelligence in rejecting that hideous woman and the man who chose her.

It is YOUR political party, not the Democrats, who have chosen another unqualified loud-mouth scramble-brain to lead the country. And, as they rejected McCain and Palin, the American people will reject Trump and whomever he'll choose as his doomed running mate.

But thanks for coming by and again showing us that you TeaPublicans have learned nothing from your dismal history.

Skud, if the same voters win in November as have won in the last two presidential elections, Clinton will be president, not Trump. Trump supporters are a very different demographic than Obama supporters.

So true,RN.

I will take exception to one of your comments Ms Shaw. I am not a republican, I am a fiscal conservative and social liberal. No party represents my views therefore I am free to choose.
I have no doubt that -H- will win and we will have another four years of obama idealism and no economic growth. With -H- we know what we are getting, Trump may surprise.
Although I am not a trump supporter I am of the opinion that he couldn't be any worse than what we have had for eight years and with -H- another four.

So skud and other Trump supporters would welcome a foul mouthed narcissistic know-nothing baboon to represent America?

Can anyone reading this IMAGINE how the right would have gone apoplectic over Mr. Obama if he yelled out the word "motherf**ker" at a rally? If he had promised to "beat the shit" out of an enemy? They would have pointed out the degeneracy of the man and screamed that he should not be near the White House.

The Trumper enjoys typical "white privilege." Any person of color or any woman using that sort of vulgar language would to stir up the crowds would be run out of town and never be heard from again. But the people who call themselves conservatives give this trash-mouth a pass because he's rich and he's white and he panders to them.

What's left of the conservative party has given its loyalty to a profane and scatological bum.

My post referred to Trump not Hillary.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Skud, just like a typical dishonest conservative, takes the flaws of their deeply flawed candidate and trys to pass them off as belonging to his opponent.

Hillary is foul mouthed? When's the last time you heard her used "motherf**ker" in public like Trump did? When has she shouted "shit" and "f**k" in public like Trump? And when has she said she'd like to punch someone in the face? When has she said a female pundit was bleeding from her "wherever?" When has she made fun of a disabled man? That's Trump, and every video of him behaving like a demented baboon will be shown from now until the day before the election in November so that the American people can understand what an undisciplined and unprincipled creep he is.

The trouble with your twisted thinking, skud, is that you wouldn't know a foul-mouthed jackass if he sat on your face and let loose a stream of his filth. As long as it isn't a Democrat, you apparently would lap it up and then blame Hillary for it.

You, sir, are no RN.
