The impenetrable word-swamp that seeps from the strange mind of Donald J. Trump.

This inarticulate, scramble-brain believes he'll be a great president. How will that play out when he can't answer a simple question with simple declarative sentences. He obviously thinks "theoretically" and "rhetorical" are interchangeable words.

Imagine giving immeasurable power to someone as confused and clueless as Donald J. Trump,

Here he is, murdering the English language:

Willie Geist asked: ‘What about what you told Chris Matthews a few weeks ago, which is that women who get abortions should be punished? Do you still believe that to be true?’

TRUMP:

‘No, he was asking me a theoretical, or just a question in theory, and I talked about it only from that standpoint. Of course not. And that was done, he said, you know, I guess it was theoretically, but he was asking a rhetorical question, and I gave an answer. And by the way, people thought from an academic standpoint, and, asked rhetorically, people said that answer was an unbelievable academic answer! But of course not, and I said that afterwards.’

Donald Trump's victory proves Republican voters want resentful nationalism, not principled conservatism

"Credit where it's due. The Republican Party is what congressional scholars Thomas Mann and Norm Ornstein said it is: "ideologically extreme; scornful of compromise; unmoved by conventional understanding of facts, evidence and science; and dismissive of the legitimacy of its political opposition." In case you are skeptical of that final charge, recall that Trump began his rise in the Republican Party as a champion of the birther movement."

DONALD J. TRUMP:  The politician's politician.

He's no "outsider," he's just another lyin' politician:

Catherine Rampell at The Washington Post

"Trump may have a short political résumé, but he is still a quintessential politician. Arguably, he is the most politician-y politician who has ever politicked. Consider the cardinal sins of the political class: pandering, lying, flip-flopping and overpromising. Trump has partaken of every single one, and transformed each nearly into an art form."

Here's the guy the TeaPublicans want to be POTUS, because he says "what people are thinking," and "he tells it like it is."

Ha.

Trump says what people are thinking? Do people really THINK about how many tweets and retweets he gets? Do mentally healthy people even care? And then there's the part where he claims he's has the most retweets -- a total lie, of course, so he tells a lie "like it is" the truth. That's for sure.

Meanwhile, this is what the man who hopes to lead the free world is all excited about? How many retweets he got about a taco bowl? The TeaPublicans have not hit the bottom of the barrel, they've dug a hole and are living under the barrel. Yes, it's that bad:

TRUMP TALKING ABOUT HIS TACO BOWL AND HOW THE "HISPANICS LOVE HIM." What a jerk.

“As of yesterday, I had 59,000 retweets. 59,000 in a short period of what? That’s almost got to be some kind of a record. People loved it. I’m going to do great with Hispanics. I mean, I’m going to do fantastically because I’m bringing jobs back to America.”

Reality: "It was a completely ridiculous lie. Trump’s tweet wasn’t even close to a retweet record. Ellen’s Oscar selfie holds the record with over 2.1 million retweets. Trump had to lie, because contrary to his claims, he is doing the opposite of great with Hispanics. Trump has a favorable rating with Hispanics of 13%. His unfavorables are at 79%."

Hispanics love Trump the way a sex worker loves VD.

Definitions are so over-rated. Ask Humpty Dumpty.

"When I use a word," Humpty Dumpty said, in rather a scornful tone, "it means just what I choose it to mean—neither more nor less."

Or possibly Kelly Ayotte.

“As she's said from the beginning, Kelly plans to support the nominee. As a candidate herself, she hasn't and isn't planning to endorse anyone this cycle,” said Liz Johnson, communications director for Kelly for New Hampshire.

Johnson said the senator is not endorsing Trump.

Merriam Webster on endorse.

to publicly or officially say that you support or approve of (someone or something)

They kinda sound the same.

"I mean what I say" is not the same as "I say what I mean." --Alice, Alice in Wonderland.

It's amazing to read the right wing news sites and blogs and see how they are talking themselves into accepting the short-fingered vulgarian as their candidate -- a man who shares none of their values, but as long as he's running against a Democrat, they'll support a talking yam.

One thing I've learned during this whole nomination process is that many of those supposed right wing Christians really have no core beliefs -- they're hitching their wagons to a goon who promotes violence, racism, misogyny, and any other sort of vulgar ism one can think of.

Trump has no core beliefs, and those who have none either are attracted to him as well.

He sounds like two out of three in the race. The bern seems to be truthful about his desire for a socialist state. The other two can't recognize the truth and the eventual winner -H- has convinced herself that she does tell the truth even after having what she said played back.
We know what we have with -H-, four more years of no growth and blame. I am supporting the Bern, at least we know where he stands or we could support hope for a change and go with the donald.
It looks like the current administration will go out like they came in, in a recession. Even the leader has said the economy is not growing like it should. What we need is a government regulation to insure growth or maybe a couple trillion stimulus package.

Dear skud,

No matter how much b.s. you try to spread around the blogsphere, it will not alter the fact that Hillary Clinton is more honest, tells the truth more often than does Trump. That's just a living, breathing verifiable fact that must cause a certain part of your body to hurt.

Here are actual facts that you cannot dispute:

Now that the 2016 Presidential election is definitively Hillary Clinton vs Donald Trump, the head to head comparisons are underway between the two candidates. Clinton leads comfortably in nearly every head to head poll, and her favorability rating is higher, forcing Trump to resort to focusing on claims about her supposed dishonesty. But fact checkers paint the opposite picture, rating Hillary as having been three times more honest than Trump during the course of the campaign.

PolitiFact, one of the most widely respected and trusted fact checking entities, has regularly examined the contested or controversial statements made by each candidate in the 2016 race. Those statements are rated on a five point scale from “True” all the way to “Pants on Fire.”

It turns out that seventy-one percent of Hillary Clinton’s most contentious statements have rated out in the top three boxes of truthfulness, while just twenty-four percent of Donald Trump’s most contentious statements have rated out in those top three boxes. That means she’s been three times more honest than he has during the election up to this point.

Not only is Donald Trump a Short-Fingered Vulgarian and Talking Yam, but he's also the one of the greatest lying politicians of all time.

We're being told that in order for Trump to win, he should reach out to the people he's been slandering. Trump has to stop calling them names -- at least not in public anymore. Trump needs to hide that hideous part of himself that has made him one of the most detested candidates for the presidency in modern times. Hillary is liked more than Trump is! The TeaPublicans are going to have as their candidate a guy who women, Hispanics, Latinos, minorities, and the disabled detest.

Republican National Committee chairman Reince Priebus said Friday that presumptive GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump understands the need to change how he speaks about marginalized groups.

Trump has labeled Mexicans “rapists” and “killers,” and has proposed a blanket ban on Muslims entering the United States. He also plans to round up and deport the 11 million undocumented residents living in the United States.

“If people don’t think you like them, they’re not going to vote for you,” Priebus said at a breakfast hosted by Politico.

So Trump will put on a mask? It's too late. Every insult and smear he's thrown at people is on video and will follow him throughout this campaign.

Sadly Shaw, if it is Trump vs Hillary, I predict Trump will win in a ratings driven negative slime fest.

The Dems will have to console themselves in recapturing the Senate, and maybe the House.

Donald Trump attracts this sort of person to his candidacy:

According to Right Wing Watch, Duke ramped up the rhetoric to all-new levels.

Duke said it was high time “to start naming the enemy that’s orchestrating our destruction: If we don’t dispose the Jews, there is no hope for our people.”

Well Dave, if it turns out you are right then in my never humble opinion America has indeed slid into total irrationality as a nation.

Sounds like old FT over on some of the right wing blogs.

Anon, Duke sounds like more than a few who comment on the rabid right wing blogs. They embrace that sort of filth along with racism and sexism.

Some of the folks commenting on those rabid RWB''s are simply useful idiots following allowing like good sheeple. The others (like FreeThinke, Radical Redneck, Shackelford, etc.) have dangerously diseased minds and represent a real threat to truth, decency, and liberty. They are far more interested in establishing a tyranny by the minority than preserving the promise of America.

In the case of the GOP, it's devolution. No offense to Devo.
