When BLACK people do it, it's "looting." When WHITE people do it, it's salvage. We learned that in NOLA in '05.
North Carolina White Americans entering closed retail establishments in order to take whatever they want. When Black or Spanish Americans do the same thing, it’s on every news channel and they are called looters rioting. This is called White Privilege.
No matter who steals they should be punished with the same vigor even the Spanish Americans, do we have that many of them and are they from Barcelona or what part of Spain.
I agree skuddrunner. Anyone who steals should be held to the same standard of discipline (punishment).
Having said that I think you're missing the point. The term used to describe exactly the same activity by whites in the same circumstances (salvage as opposed to looting) is done intentionally. Salvage is not criminal, looting is.
Skin color makes no difference when prosecuting looters. Hopefully these photos will help capture these crooks. The police are not doing their duty if they do not track down and arrest these people just because they are white.
We’ve seen this numerous times even in sports. When white ppl celebrate championships and crest mayhem, as when the Vancouver Canucks won the Stanley Cup, they too riot. But the rioters are called over exhuberant fans. When black fans riot, even after sporting events, they are called thugs...

RN, Where was the term salvage used to describe whites who steal. I have always seen all looters even the Spanish American ones described as looters.
If caught looting you should be sent to devils island.
