Right Wingers: "We Already Know the Mueller Report Found Nothing on Trump"

Mueller Report:

Mueller Report: No conclusion that Trump committed crime but ‘does not exonerate him’

Mueller Report: Team Couldn't Rule Out Obstruction, Couldn't Firmly Establish Either

Mueller report does not explicitly exonerate Trump, citing possible obstruction acts

Also Mueller has referred FOURTEEN investigations to other Justice Dept. offices.

Which means Trump went down to the line of criminal conduct, but didn't quite cross it or there wasn't enough evidence presented to Mueller to make a determination, because, as the report states, the Trump people kept lying and obfuscating.

So NO!, there is PLENTY that we've found out about Trump, and it's going to get worse.

But in the end, we have no sealed indictment, no public charges and a report that basically says he did a lot of bad stuff, but his behavior, while repulsive, and perhaps even corrosive to our democracy, was not criminal.

Removing a Pres is a political act and there is not the will at this point to make that decision.

Dems should state that their objective was to get to the bottom of Russian influence, we now know what the Russians did, the President should be grateful for the report and we should move on.

Not so fast, Dave. Mueller referred FOURTEEN cases to other Justice Department agencies, and there's still the SDNY working on other cases. Also, no finding has been made yet about Trump's hush money payments to his two mistresses during the campaign, which were illegal by campaign laws.

Nothing is settled. How can we allow someone like Trump to game the system of checks and balances and LAWS just because a scrupulous investigator has determined that he didn't have iron clad evidence of a crime. Mueller also determined that he would have exonerated Trump on obstruction if the evidence supported it, but he couldn’t.

Do you think the GOP would have let go of an investigation had those words been attached to a criminal investigation against President Obama? NO! Nor should they go on as though there was nothing to see there.

We still don't know what is in the total report. So far, what I've read is damning to Trump, and no, it does not clear him of corruption. The report found that Trump's behavior was clearly illegal, but not indictable, according to lawyers who've read the report so far.

We deserve better than, "We couldn't indict him, but we couldn't clear him of criminal behavior either." Don't you think?

Mueller said further thorough FBI investigations may have uncovered crimes by trump! Democrats, don’t roll over and fold to the GOP, instead DEMAND they act, we the people do not want a criminal representing us as a country. An unethical piece of shit who tried to get his people to break the law for him, a lying sociopath who obstructed justice! We deserve Better!

So, let's move beyond collusion or conspiracy. Mueller found no evidence that would support such allegations in a court of law.

With respect to obstruction. Mueller concluded that essentially there was not enough evidence to conclude that Trump obstructed justice. However, he made it clear that Trump leaned heavily on key people in his administration to do the dirty work of removing Mueller.

So, while Trump did not himself take the overt action to obstruct justice his INTENT was to find a willing individual who would. To all of their credit they refused. Thus protecting Trump from his worst instincts.

IMO it now rests with Congress to determine Trump's fate, IE impeachment or letting it ride for voters to decide in 2020.

Mueller is a bright and thorough professional. The conclusions in his report are spot on. Future determinations will likely lead to a just and proper conclusion to this national nightmare.

RN, you've got it exactly right. It is up to Congress to act now. And I believe it needs to bring articles of impeachment against Trump because of what he did.
