Of all the lies, deliberate misinformation, and twisted truth Donald J. Trump has told over the last 3 years...

this is the sickest, stupidest, most egregious of all his disgusting lies.

He's either mentally deranged or the stupidest man in America.

Maybe both:

Michelle Goldberg, NYTimes:

"It’s not a stretch to imagine an unstable Trump acolyte taking him both seriously and literally. Indeed, it seems that at least one already has. Last week, a 30-year-old Trump supporter named Matthew Haviland was arrested and accused of threatening to rape and murder a professor who supports abortion rights. According to an affidavit by an F.B.I. joint terrorism task force officer, Haviland wrote in an email, “I will kill every Democrat in the world so we never more have to have our babies brutally murdered by you absolute terrorists.” He also made over a hundred threatening calls to an abortion clinic. Besides their potential to inspire violence, Trump’s words are a cruel insult to parents who have to make agonizing decisions about end-of-life care for babies that are born extremely prematurely, or with serious anomalies.

Doctors and mothers don’t choose to “execute” newborns. They are forced to decide, in excruciating situations, when to forgo medical interventions and provide palliative care instead. There are exceedingly rare cases where babies survive an attempted abortion, but federal law already extends the same protection to them due any other infant."

Ms.Shaw, you may want to ask the governor of Virginia his opinion on this subject

I had not seen or heard of this. We all knew Trump is an unstable mal-adjusted individual. But this confirms, certainly for me, that he is one sick f'ing liar that belongs in an institution for the criminally insane.

Anonymous @ 4:02PM, you continue to come here and address me as "Ms.Shaw." Why don't you use a name of some sort? You're a frequent visitor, why not take on a name?

As to your question. I don't live in Virginia. I don't care what the governor of Virginia thinks about this. I care about whay the deranged POTUS is saying about it because it is a monumental lie and he's repeating it to stir up his base who will swallow any outrageous lie he feeds them.

Someone ought to throw a net over Trump's head; he's as looney as a bug-eyed squirrel on meth.

Shaw Kenawe said...

RN, this is about as looney as it gets. There isn't a shred of truth to what he's been ranting about this. He belongs in a hospital for the criminally insane.

Ducky's here said...

This latest tRump lie is typical of the right's attempt to mischaracterize partial birth abortion but it sure get them stirred up.
Who knows if this latest even has any context. Probably just throwing the base some raw meat.

Or maybe he's just cuckoo bananas.

While not as deranged as the above, he also whipped the crowd up making fun of the meteorologists claiming there was going to be a snowstorm that day (in Green Bay) when there wasn’t. Only problem is that NO ONE predicted snow in Green Bay, only further south. And guess what— it snowed south of the area. His whole schtick is finding a whipping boy and belittling—heck of a guy, our preznut.

I’ve mentioned before that I am blog friends with about 4 people in different parts of Canada, a person in Australia, someone in New Zealand, one in Sweden and a couple in England. They are constantly incredulous about trump and don’t understand why the entire country isn’t in the streets every day protesting.

My brother and sister-in-law in TX have started watching OAN (One America Network). They can't be convinced that it's a RWNJ station. They heard this there, and believe it. I am horrified.

KanaW and Possumlady,

Here's more of the NYTime's op-ed piece on Trump's latest insanity:

"If you’ve ever had a baby, the absurdity of Trump’s words should be obvious. Try to imagine what would happen if, after giving birth, you asked your ob-gyn to kill your child. You’d probably end up committed.

None of this is likely to matter to the president or his fans. Trump’s lie gives them something too valuable to let go of — a sense of moral superiority over those who would condemn the president and his movement. As Haviland allegedly wrote in one seething email, “You who try to shut people up based on race, you who take a president who’s taking our country in a place of more freedom rather than less, you who would brutally murder a child after they were born (or before they were born). You are evil.”

This mix of thrilling self-righteousness and justified hatred is the effect incitement is supposed to produce. It won’t be undermined by debate or fact-checking. But ignoring Trump’s lies doesn’t make them disappear — if anything, his deceptions are becoming only more elaborate and grotesque. We will be lucky if the consequences aren’t deadly. It’s hard, after all these months, to get worked up about Trump’s fantasies, but there are still people in America unbalanced enough to believe their president tells the truth."

Trump either knows he's lying about this. Trump has shown many times that he is one of the most ill-informed jackasses to ever lead a country, and he's a classic demagogue who is very good at whipping up the ignorant jackasses in his base.

Trump has encouraged anti-Semitism murder with his Nazis are "nice people" speech, and he's now doing the same with his false narrative on abortion.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Ducky, Trump is stirring up another pocket of insane hatred in his ignorant base. We've seen it work with the white supremacist anti-Semites, why wouldn't it work with anti-abortion white supremacists, our domestic terrorists?

Dave Miller said...

Beyond that he's just making stuff up, his supporters will, if they aren't already, be spewing this stuff faster than you can morality matters.

For the first time in years, ISIS leader al-baghdadi comes out of hiding and along with urging his supporters to kill in massive quantity he also announces his bid for president for the Democrat party.

It is expected he'll pick ilhan omar as a combination running mate and sex slave.

Say's he is sure he will carry Minnesota.

His platform is to kill off all of the white infidel men in America which will get him the progressive and feminist vote. Sumbich has a chance as defecrats also like to vote for ugly evil bastards.

Rev, Partial birth abortion is legal in many states and although djt took it to the extreme he did state fact about allowing babies to die from partial birth abortion.
He took it to the extreme just like the dems say repups push granny off a cliff in her wheel chair. He is very successful keeping himself in front page news and the main topic of every newscast. That is not an accident but planned.

Now you have biden saying he is for rebuilding the middle class when he was part of the regime who destroyed it. If politics wasn't legal politicians could be jailed for lying and deceptive behavior. Are the democrats ever going to represent the good of the American taxpayer or can we just accept that get trump is a platform.

skudrunner: "Rev, Partial birth abortion is legal in many states and although djt took it to the extreme he did state fact about allowing babies to die from partial birth abortion."

The above is a lie. There is no such thing as "partial birth abortion."

You're spreading dirty lies, just like the malignant narcvissist and porn star shagger president.

"Partial birth abortion" is NOT legal, and it isn't even a medical term. It was made up by anti-abortion nuts, like Trump, who'll spread any lie to get their ignorant base excited.

"The Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act of 2003 (Pub.L. 108–105, 117 Stat. 1201, enacted November 5, 2003, 18 U.S.C. § 1531, PBA Ban) is a United States law prohibiting a form of late termination of pregnancy called "partial-birth abortion", referred to in medical literature as intact dilation and extraction.

Under this law, any physician "who, in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, knowingly performs a partial-birth abortion and thereby kills a human fetus shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 2 years, or both". The law was enacted in 2003, and in 2007 its constitutionality was upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court in the case of Gonzales v. Carhart.

The rest of your comment has little to no truth in it either. Trump has exploded the deficit. Who do you think will have to pay for that? Trump has made Middle America farmers poorer and more desperat because of his stupid trade wars. Tax returns for Middle Americans were way down this year, and I don't know about you, but I didn't get the $4,000 that trump promised thie Middle Class American. I got bupkus! I'm retired. And I had to pay!

Getting back to the dirty lie that trump promoted at his bund rally: No where in the U.S. is a live birth infant murdered. Trump is a miserable lying, divisive crackpot who's obviously suffering from mental decline.

He has, however, broken an American record: He is the ONLY POTUS in polling history to have NEVER gotten over 50% of the American people's supporT, not even after he was inaugurated, when every president has the support of the American people. Why do you suppose trump is so disliked?

Here's a hint: People dislike being lied to. Trump is documented as having lied 10,000 times since this country had the monumental misfortune of putting him in the Oval Office.

Also, He is disliked and mocked abroad.

Here's another thing trump did: He raised the tax rate on Gold Star family benefits:

As a middle class single female homeowner living in one of the most expensive areas of the country (Washington, DC area), with the exception of 2009 during the full recession when my non profit had to stop any pay increases and we had to institute furlough days along with cutting payments into our 403(b), I’ve done well from 2010 until this year when my counted on tax refund turned into paying the feds. A quick question to fellow co workers find that I’m not alone. Even if I didn’t think trump was an immoral immature pig, that tax increase alone would keep me from ever voting for him.

Possumlady, you and I are in the same boat. I, too, live in an expensive city, Boston, and am a single, middle class woman (widowed), and I did NOT receive the $4,000 or ANY tax bonus trump told everyone they'd get when his administration passed the tax bill that gave billions more to billionaires.

Remember how the Goopers can't let go of President Obama's "If you ike yur doctor, you can keep her/him?" There's a deafening silence on trump's promise of a refund for middle class Americans. See, the Goopers are unforgiving when a Dem makes an undept promise, but are silent when a Gooper does exactly the same thing.

Of course, it could be that trump lies so often and so egregiously that even they can't keep up with it.

They admire a serial adulterer and liar, and a guy who cheated people out of their money with his fake foundation and university.

Can you or anyone imagine what it's like to be a trump supporter? Whew!

Skud... I expect Congress to grandstand and stretch the truth. I expect candidates to do so also.

I expect a person, once elected to the office of the presidency, to live up to a higher standard. So whether Congress has or has not lied is not germane to the fact that our president is now making up stories, obfuscations and lies daily.

Even today when pressed on the president's lying, AG Barr didn't defend or deflect. he simply said it's "not against the law."

Whether our presidents get there or not, I expect them to at least try to behave morally, speak the truth, and treat people with respect. Especially is those presidents are claiming to be Christian people who are supposed to be trying to live a life like Jesus.

Dave "Even today when pressed on the president's lying, AG Barr didn't defend or deflect. he simply said it's "not against the law."

So, we've come to this in the Trump Era: His own AG excusing the POTUS's pathological lying by simply saying "it's not against the law."

IOW, as long as the POTUS has an "R" after his name, they don't care about his mendacity, his cheating, and his schoolyard bullying and name calling. Heck, if you read any of the rabid right wing blogs, they actually LOVE the fact that trump's disgusting behavior ticks off the "libtards."

That's where this country is now, in the Trump Era. Lie? The POTUS? Pfffft! It's not against the law!

Well, it IS against the Ten Commandments, isn't it? But as you and I know now, the people who pretend to honor those Commandments and the deity that handed them down to human beings don't actually BELIEVE in them (and don't they put up their little hypocritical Sunday "faith" blogs?) If they ever try to shove 10 Commandments representations on a lawn or building or court room, they should be laughed and shunned, tarred and feathered for the monumental hypocrites that they are.
