OK - so while I was there I learned a thing or two. Like for one the human making the claim may have been John and Yoko's assistant but he wasn't the best person, in fact charged and convicted of stealing a lot of John's stuff after he was killed.
If you read down three or four paragraphs you find John's friends weighing in on the topic and they say to a person that the assistant was making crap up for the monies, the shock value, I'd say the clicks but this was late seventies to the eighties. There wasn't anything to click but the drive to cause controversy was alive and well in both our troll and the assistant who shall not be named (anyone who craves the spotlight that much should definitely never ever feel it's warm glow on themselves).
So - back to the program and one of John's best songs. If he'd hated it as much as the assistant had said you know Yoko or his son would have said something. It's who they are. And this song speaks truth.
Thank you for posting it Shaw. It's been a rough week and it won't get better until the New Year for me. Just is the way it is. Sending loves your way. Please say hi to a goat the next time you see them. Thanks.
