When we call Trump supporters cultiists, that's not hyperbole; it is telling the truth:
This appeared on a billboard somewhere in Missouri.
It has since been taken down because of complaints from real Christians who were outraged at the blasphemous suggestion that a liar, a cheat, and a self-admitted adulterer and sexual assaulter be compared to their Savior, Jesus Christ.

Friday Night Funnies...
in which the GOP preznit takes a trip into Squirrelly Nutlandia:
Trump's uninformed squirrelly opinion on voting:
TRUMP: "This is a problem in California that’s so bad of illegals voting. This is a California problem, and if you notice, almost every race — I was watching today — out of, like, 11 races that are in question, they’re gonna win all of them. The Republicans don’t win, and that’s because of potentially illegal votes, which is what I’ve been saying for a long time. I have no doubt about it. And I’ve seen it, I’ve had friends talk about it when people get in line that have absolutely no right to vote and they go around in circles. Sometimes they go to their car, put on a different hat, put on a different shirt, come in and vote again. Nobody takes anything. It’s really a disgrace what’s going on. The disgrace is that, voter ID. If you buy, you know, a box of cereal, if you do anything, you have a voter ID."

Your blogging hostess was captured on Instagram in her various disguises on November 6, so that she could vote several times and then go to the nearest supermarket to buy Fruit Loops without the required ID:
Trump and the squirrels in his large, normally empty head:
TRUMP: "If you look at what happened in New Hampshire, where thousands of people came up and voted from a very liberal part of Massachusetts and they came up in buses and they voted. I said, “What’s going on over here”; my people said, “You won New Hampshire easily except they have tremendous numbers of buses coming up.” They’re pouring up by the hundreds, buses of people getting out, voting. Then they’re supposed to go back within 90 days. And of the people that are supposed to go back, almost none of them do. In other words, they go back after the vote is over. They go back — and I think it’s like 3 percent — I mean, almost nobody goes back to show that, you know, that they were allowed to vote. And so what do you do? Recall the election. Recall the election. I mean, there, you should be able to recall the election."
The above was spoken by the person who is purportedly the Leader of the Free World and who has his very fat little fingers on the nuclear button.

More Blue Wave Good News!
UPDATES ON DEMOCRATS WINNING OTHER RACES ACROSS U.S. BELOW:
"A week later it's clear the midterms did produce a blue wave – here are the three main factors that drove the Democrats' triumph One week ago, three distinct but overlapping currents combined to shift tidal forces in America's midterm elections — and smash the Republican Party's congressional fortress. Those currents were:
* Demographic change,
* Democratic mobilization, and
* Disaffection with President Donald Trump.
As is clearer now than on election night, they produced a blue wave that has fundamentally altered the political calculus of the capital." --John Harwood | @johnjharwood
More good news:
"We hope Republican Mike Coffman is right! He blames his loss in Colorado on Trump:
'Donald Trump is about Donald Trump, and what Donald Trump is, is he wants to be the center of attention every single day. He wants to dominate the news cycle every single day, and good luck trying to get a message out of that.'
Army veteran Jason Crow unseated Coffman, becoming the first Democrat to represent Colorado’s Sixth District since it was created.
Congratulations, Jason Crow! Way to go!"
AND THE BLUE WAVE KEEPS GETTING BIGGER AND WAVIER!
N.J. Democrat Defeats Trump Ally, Leaving the State With Just 1 Republican in Congress
WHAT?! Mississippi? DEAD HEAT????

Look at this!
Maine Rep. Bruce Poliquin’s loss under the state’s new ranked-choice voting system on Thursday likely means the end of New England Republicans in the House.
It’s the first time in over 100 years an incumbent has lost Maine’s 2nd District. Poliquin is still pursuing his legal challenge to the ranked-choice voting system in federal court, but Democrat Jared Golden won more than 50 percent after state election officials tabulated the ranked-choice votes on Thursday afternoon. Poliquin narrowly led the Democrat on the first count, but since neither candidate received 50 percent of the vote, the state’s new ranked-choice voting system kicked in.
A federal judge on Thursday morning denied a Poliquin lawsuit to seek an injunction against the tabulation of those votes.
ORANGE COUNTY, CA? SERIOUSLY?
LATIMES: "Republicans lose a fifth House seat in California as Democrat Katie Porter ousts Rep. Mimi Walters"
At the same time, the updated vote count Thursday by the Orange County registrar of voters had Democratic House candidate Gil Cisneros pulling 941 votes ahead of Republican Young Kim in an adjacent congressional district.

Dear Red State America,
Your president is:
mad, insane, out of his mind, deranged, demented, not in his right mind, crazed, lunatic, non compos mentis, unhinged, mad as a hatter, mad as a March hare; informalmental, nutty, nutty as a fruitcake, off his rocker, not right in the head, round/around the bend, raving mad, batty, bonkers, cuckoo, loopy, ditzy, loony, bananas, loco, with a screw loose, touched, gaga, not all there, out to lunch, crackers, nutso, out of one's tree, wacko, gonzo; and crazy as a shithouse rat.
That is all.

Fox News To File Amicus Brief In Support Of CNN’s Jim Acosta Lawsuit
Fox News fans are not happy that their favorite network is filing an amicus brief on behalf of CNN’s Jim Acosta, who had his White House press pass revoked by the Trump administration last week.“Fox News supports CNN in its legal effort to regain its White House reporter’s press credential,” Fox News President Jay Wallace said on Tuesday. “Secret Service passes for White House journalists should never be weaponized.”

YES!
A Week After the Election, Democratic Gains Grow Stronger
Kyrsten Sinema became the first Democratic senator elected in Arizona in 30 years.
New York Times:
Nov. 13, 2018 233 The 2018 midterm election looked last Tuesday like a serious but not crippling setback for Republicans, yet the picture has grown grimmer since then as a more complete tally of votes has come in across the country.
What looked at first like a modest Democratic majority in the House has grown into a stronger one: The party has gained 32 seats so far and appears on track to gain between 35 and 40 once all the counting is complete. And Democratic losses in the Senate look less serious than they did a week ago, after Kyrsten Sinema was declared the winner in Arizona on Monday.
It now looks like Democrats are likely to lose a net of one or two seats, rather than three or four as they feared last Tuesday. The underlying shifts in the electorate suggest President Trump may have to walk a precarious path to re-election in 2020, as several Midwestern states he won in 2016 threaten to slip away, and once-red states in the Southwest turn a purpler hue. The president’s strategy of sowing racial division and stoking alarm about immigration failed to lift his party, and Democratic messaging about health care undercut the benefit Republicans hoped to gain from a strong economy.
Trump's America
Since self-identified (white) "Nationalist" Trump was elected, Nazi salutes and marches and acceptance have been on the rise.
Trump has made it comfortable for every bigot, Nazi, White Supremacist, KKKer, misogynist and racist to act out what once was kept in the sewer. Trump has unleashed that filth from the sewer. His cultists are comfortable with this creeping white nationalism, and they adore him even more for his desecration of American values and honor.
Here's a Baraboo, Wisconsin, high school photo of young, white male students laughing while giving the Nazi salute.
Let's hear from the folks who fetishize our American military what they think about this disturbing photo.
Let's hear from the far righties who pound their chests about supporting the troops and respecting the sacrifices of our men and women in uniform how they justify this photo of a salute that their fathers, mothers, grandmothers, grandfathers, sisters, brothers, aunts, uncles, daughters and sons gave their lives to wipe off the face of the earth.
Their idol, Trump, has made this disgusting display acceptable -- even fun -- to young people.
This is what Trump has done to America:
One student in the upper right-hand photo refused to join in the disgraceful display. You can read about him in the link I provided above.
For those thoughtful Americans who wonder how Germany sank into bloody Nationalist Nazism in the 1930s, look at this photo and understand.
It IS happening here.
PRESIDENT RAINDROP
Just imagine the apoplectic reaction from the Right had President Obama skipped an important 100-year anniversary ceremony honoring our WW I military dead. But President Raindrop did just that, and not a peep from his rabid cultists.
Sane Republicans weighed in with disgust and dismay, as normal people would.
Trump didn't even bother to show up at Arlington National Cemetery as presidents traditionally do on Veteran's Day. When President Obama missed a visit to Arlington for some reason, the righties went beserk, calling him any foul name they could think of. President Obama missed one or maybe two in his eight years as CiC. And when Mr. Obama was unable to go to Arlington, he sent his V.P. Trump didn't show up and didn't send his V.P.
Low-energy, self-absorbed, shameful:

Donald J. Trump is not the President of All the United States.
Donald J. Trump is the President of his base, and that is all. When a POTUS is not able to extend his sympaty and compassion to areas of America that have been burned to the ground -- because those areas are in blue states, that is proof enough that not only does Donald J. Trump lack human decency, he lacks the ability to see citizens who differ with him as Americans.
I will never acknowledge him as the POTUS, but only as PORS -- President of Red States. Shame, shame, shame on him.
I cannot imagine anyone defending this wicked, wicked poor excuse of a human being.

Donald J. Trump: The Republican's Lying Liar -- Part The Infinity
Trump Denies Knowing Attorney General He Met Over a Dozen Times
Two days after he hired a transparent political hack to run the Justice Department, President Trump has failed to come up with a remotely plausible cover story.
“I didn’t speak to Matt Whitaker about” the Russia investigation, Trump told reporters this morning, “I don’t know Matt Whitaker. Matt Whitaker has a great reputation and that’s what I wanted.”
None of those things are true.
Whitaker does not have a “great reputation.” He lost a race to be the Iowa Republican Senate nominee in 2014, and spent the next few years working for a scam patent company that was shut down as a fraud while getting Trump’s attention by engaging in low-rent pro-Trump punditry that he leveraged into a chief of staff job.
Trump does know Whitaker, and has spoken about the Russia investigation with him. “As Sessions’s chief of staff, Whitaker met with the president in the Oval Office more than a dozen times, normally accompanying the attorney general, according to a senior administration official,” the Washington Post reported yesterday.
“When Trump complained about the Mueller investigation, Whitaker often smiled knowingly and nodded in assent, the official said.”
Last month, Trump told Fox News, “I know Matt Whitaker.”
In other news of Trump's lies:
Remember when President Porn Star Shagger said he knew nothing about the payments to his porn star mistress and his playmate bunny mistress?
LIE.
LIE.
According to the Wall Street Journal's report, President Porn Star Shagger ordered the hush money paid to both of his mistresses.
Trump Personally Facilitated Hush Money Payments To Stormy Daniels And Karen McDougal: WSJ
This, of course, will only make his cultists love him more. The more corrupt and sordid his behavior, the more his cultists adore the tyrant.
MAGA!
The GOP's Clueless Preznit
Rick Scott Accuses Democrats of Trying to Thwart G.O.P.’s Successful Voter Suppression
********************************
"Because of her extensive and successful leadership and administrative skills, Dr. Brenda Snipes was asked by REPUBLICAN Governor JEB BUSH to serve out the term of Supervisor of Elections in Broward County. She began this appointment on November 20, 2003. She was re-elected for a four-term in November 2004, 2008, 2012, and again in 2016. Not a Liberal and appointed by a Republican." --Lee Arnold

YAHOO NEWS: "TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Republican Gov. Rick Scott has alleged — without citing evidence — that elections officials in South Florida are trying to "steal" the election for Democrats as razor-thin margins raise the specter of recounts and court battles in the state's races for Senate and governor.
In the governor's race, Democrat Andrew Gillum's campaign said Thursday it's readying for a possible recount. The race has tightened since he conceded to Republican Ron DeSantis on Tuesday night. As of Thursday afternoon, DeSantis led Gillum by 0.47 percentage point.
Meanwhile, Democratic incumbent Sen. Bill Nelson has begun preparing for a potential recount in a race still too close to call against Scott, who is leaving the governor's seat because of term limits. Nelson's lawyer called that race a "jump ball." Scott's campaign urged Nelson to concede. Scott held a 0.21 percentage lead over Nelson on Thursday afternoon.
Florida's is a perennial swing state, and many of its elections have been decided by the thinnest of margins since 2000, when Florida decided the presidency by 537 votes in a contest that took more than five weeks to sort out. Still, the state has never seen so many dead heats in one year. And like 2000, the counting process is becoming contentious."

I Love This...
GOP Rep. Karen Handel concedes to Democratic challenger Lucy McBath in the tight Georgia 6th District special election.
It adds another seat takeover for Democrats as they try to pad their projected House majority.
After her teenage son was killed in what has been called a racially motivated attack, mom Lucy McBath felt inspired to make a difference in her community. Now she’ll have an excellent opportunity to do so after being elected to the House of Representatives on Tuesday.
On Nov. 23, 2012, McBath’s 17-year-old son, Jordan Davis, was fatally shot while listening to music in an SUV with his friends in Jacksonville, Florida. The shooter, Michael Dunn, claimed he felt threatened when the group refused to turn down their car radio. Dunn, who is now serving a life sentence, was white. Jordan, along with his three unarmed friends, was black.
But I HATE that:
President Unindicted Co-conspirator is responsible for this:
An Arkansas man has been arrested and charged with 18 different counts of making threats aimed at CNN’s Don Lemon, Rep. Maxine Waters, Planned Parenthood, Sen. Chuck Schumer, Michael Avenatti and more. The Baxter County Sheriff’s office picked up 39-year-old Benjamin Craig Matthews of Mountain Home, Arkansas. His charges include five counts of “felony terroristic threats.”
More from the Arkansas Democrat Gazette: In one call, according to the affidavit, Matthews asked the CNN switchboard operator, "Could I be directed to DL's dead body hanging from a tree?"
Another time, Matthews asked if his call could be directed to "pipe bombs for DL."
In another call, Matthews spoke of "bloody pictures of DL cut up in small pieces, like the movie Saw," according to the affidavit from Sgt. Brad Hurst with the Baxter County sheriff's office.
Matthews is facing a slew of charges. Matthews has been charged with five counts of felony terroristic threatening, four counts of misdemeanor terroristic threatening and nine counts of harassing communications, which is a misdemeanor.

#45's Acting Attorney General -- Like Trump, a Scam Artist
Here's Trump's new acting A.G. He and Trump have much in common vis-a-vis cheating and scamming the American people (scum attracts scum):
Trump’s Acting Attorney General Was Part Of Firm That Scammed Millions From ‘Thousands Of Consumers’, Says FTC
Mathew Whitaker, the man appointed acting attorney general on Wednesday afternoon after President Trump fired Attorney General Jeff Sessions, was reportedly part of an invention-marketing company the U.S. government deemed “an invention-promotion scam” that tricked “thousands of consumers out of millions of dollars,” The Guardian reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, Whitaker sat on the advisory board of World Patent Marketing, a firm that was ordered to pay a $26 million settlement in May after federal authorities said it tricked aspiring inventors.
Court filings show that Whitaker received regular payments of $1,875 from the Florida-based company, and sent a threatening email in 2015 to a victim of the alleged scam. In the email obtained by the Miami New Times and The Guardian, Whitaker wrote that there could be “serious” consequences. “I am assuming you understand that there could be serious civil and criminal consequences for you,” Whitaker wrote in an email. “Understand that we take threats like this quite seriously.”
Whitaker admitted in 2014 that the company goes “beyond making statements about doing business ‘ethically’ and translate those words into action.” In March 2017, the FTC filed a lawsuit against World Patent Marketing and its founder, Scott Cooper.

That didn't take long!
OUT!
AG Sessions resigned.
Trump's been humiliating him since Sessions acted like the Attorney General of the United States instead of President Porn Star Shagger's personal attorney.
I won't miss him, but who knows who #45 will call up from the swamp to replace him.
Guesses?
Julie Annie?
And in other election news:
"Minnesota Republican Rep. Jason Lewis, who once lamented that he could no longer call women "sluts," has lost his seat to Democrat Angie Craig.
Democrats Take The House!
Let the subpoenas begin!
The US is no longer a one-party country.
Nancy Pelosi is back as Speaker of the House.
The shenanigans by Georgia's attorney-general in suppressing the vote were successful in keeping Stacy Abrams from winning, and we all know how crooked Florida is, so it is no surprise that Gillam lost. At this time, the Nelson -- Scott contest is still too close to call.
Beto O'Rourke gave Ted Cruz a damn good scare. It is astounding that the contest was so close in a state that is so red. It would have been like seeing Senator Elizabeth Warren come close to losing in blue, blue, Massachusetts to an young upstart red candidate. Completely unimaginable. Good going Beto! You did very, very well.
And congrats to the Democrats who picked up the governorships! The Dems gained SEVEN; the Republicans lost seven! Well done
Kobach's gone, Scott Walker's gone, a record number of women are in the House, Adam Schiff now has subpoena power, and Maxine Waters gets to look at Trump's tax returns. It was a pretty good night!
BTW: House means Mueller is protected. I’ll take it!

GOOD GOING, KANSAS!

100 WOMEN IN THE HOUSE!
New York Times:
Propelled by an unusually high turnout that illustrated the intensity of the backlash against Mr. Trump, Democrats claimed at least 26 House seats on the strength of their support in suburban and metropolitan districts that were once bulwarks of Republican power but where voters have recoiled from the president’s demagoguery on race. Early Wednesday morning Democrats clinched the 218 House seats needed to take control. There were at least 15 additional tossup seats that had yet to be called.
HAUNT #45'S DREAMS, MAXINE! LOL!

SWEEEEEEET!

CONGRATULATIONS BLUE!
