The media better stop calling the Zelenskyy press conference a “heated exchange”.

Call it what it was, a crazy, inappropriate, unhinged, shakedown, by a madman and his lapdog.

Conservative David Frum:

No,the meeting did not go badly for Ukraine. It exposed in the most undeniable, unequivocal way possible the pro-Putin commitments of the president and vice president. That was information Americans and allies needed to have clear before them.

Theories about Trump being a Russian asset are no longer conspiracies. It’s in broad daylight now.

HOW DO YOU KNOW YOU'RE IN A CULT?

The Epstein Files

Trump and Melania partied with notorious pedophiles Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell for years, and Trump wished Epstein's procurer of children, Ghislaine, "well" after she was arrested for sex trafficking and raping underage girls.

If Trump's name doesn't appear on the Epstein Files, look to AG Bondi for the reason.

Ed Krassenstein:

As Pam Bondi and Team Trump are set to release the "Jeffrey Epstein files," let's all remember Trump's massive connections to Epstein. Let’s all remember that it was Donald Trump who held a private party for just himself, Jeffrey Epstein and 28 girls at Mar-a—Lago, according to Trump’s former associate. Let’s all remember though that it was Donald Trump whose name and 14 of his phone numbers appeared in Jeffrey Epstein’s black book. Let’s all remember that it was Donald Trump who was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl and then scaring her with so many threats that she dropped a lawsuit against him. Let’s all remember that Jeffrey Epstein brought a 14-year old girl who was “groomed” by Ghislaine Maxwell for sex to visit Trump at Mar-a-Lago. Let's all remember that Trump's name appeared on the Epstein flight logs for 7 flights on Epstein's plane, and Trump even hosted Epstein on his own aircraft at least once. Let's all remember that Trump literally wished Ghislaine Maxwell "well" when she was arrested for sex trafficking with Jeffrey Epstein. Let’s all remember that Trump spent nearly a decade paying with Epstein in New York and Palm Beach. Let’s all remember that there are actual recordings where Epstein literally claim that he and Trump are “each other’s wingmen,” and shared a penchant for pursuing women. Let’s all remember that former model Stacey Williams alleged that Trump groped her in 1993 during a visit to Trump Tower after Epstein set up their meeting. There is no doubt in my mind that the reason this release has taken so long is because Pam Bondi is scrubbing Trump's name from the files.

Lawmakers in 9 states propose measures to undermine same-sex marriage rights

Your neighbor's marital status does no harm to you.

This is another assault by religious fanatics and authorities to interfere with Americans' private lives.

What's next? Interracial marriages? Interdenominational marriages?

VIDEO: A visibly nervous Michigan State Rep. Josh Schriver (R-Oxford) introduces a resolution to condemn the Obergefell decision that legalized gay marriage nationwide. “If we cannot conserve the bedrock of our civilization, the family, then we cannot call ourselves conservative anymore … Now is the time to reassert Christ as our king.” Sen. Jeremy Moss (D-Southfield), who is openly gay, sat in the front row then immediately took to the podium to call it “buffoonish.”

TRUMP POSTED THIS LAST NIGHT ON HIS "TRUTH SOCIAL:"

It shows his fevered dream of ridding Gaza of Palestinians and building his Middle East Riviera with his disgraced name on all the high rise buildings. He's always been a greedy hustler only interested in exploiting the vulnerable and marginalized in order to make himself richer.

This is beneath an American president. Trump demeans America and all her ideals.

BREAKING :

Donald Trump has seized control of the Press Pool.

Tell me how this is democracy.

This is how an authoritarian/fascist behaves.

Vikor Orban did the same thing when he got rid of democratic norms and seized power in Hungary.

When you want to weaken or get rid of a democracy, control the media.

NYT reporter says Trump handling press like Soviet Kremlin

"Peter Baker, a leading reporter at The New York Times, blasted President Trump’s White House over its decision to take control of the press pool covering the president and ban The Associated Press from key White House spaces.

'Having served as a Moscow correspondent in the early days of [Vladimir] Putin’s reign, this reminds me of how the Kremlin took over its own press pool and made sure that only compliant journalists were given access,' Baker wrote Tuesday afternoon on the social platform X.

'The message is clear. Given that the White House has already kicked one news organization out of the pool because of coverage it does not like, it is making certain everyone else knows that the rest of us can be barred too if the president does not like our questions or stories.' ”

Thomas Jefferson on a free press:

"Our liberty depends on the freedom of the press, and that cannot be limited without being lost."

On free speech:

"The people are the only censors of their governors: and even their errors will tend to keep these to the true principles of their institution. To punish these errors too severely would be to suppress the only safeguard of the public liberty.

The way to prevent these irregular interpositions of the people is to give them full information of their affairs thro’ the channel of the public papers, & to contrive that those papers should penetrate the whole mass of the people.

The basis of our governments being the opinion of the people, the very first object should be to keep that right; and were it left to me to decide whether we should have a government without newspapers or newspapers without a government, I should not hesitate a moment to prefer the latter. But I should mean that every man should receive those papers & be capable of reading them."

THIS IS WHAT THE FELON of the UNITED STATES ASPIRES TO:

TRUMP CHOOSES TO VOTE WITH THE AXIS OF EVIL IN UN RESOLUTION

Under the Trump-Musk Regime, the United States voted against the UN resolutions that Ukraine proposed and voted with Russia, North Korea, and Belarus. Yesterday a reporter asked Trump why that happened, and Trump refused to answer saying, "I would rather not explain it now, I think it is self-evident I think."

Yes. It IS self-evident that the Trump-Musk Regime has aligned itself with the world's anti-democratic thugs, authoritarians and Communists!

From an email I received today:

"The United States' decision to side with Russia, North Korea, and Belarus against an UN resolution supporting Ukraine is an eternal shame for America, a disgrace that will echo through history as a betrayal of our core values. It is a slap in the face to the World War II generation -- those who fought and died to crush fascism and defend freedom  -- watching from their graves as we align with the despots and thugs over a nation battling for its survival. This isn't just a policy misstep; it is an abandonment of our allies, a gutless pivot that leaves Ukraine dangling in the wind, forsaken by the very nation that once stood as a beacon against tyranny.

To cozy up to Putin's axis of autocrats while Kyiv fights for its life is to spit on the legacy of D-Day, to mock the sacrifices made for a world where might didn't win over right. We've turned our back on the promise of "Never Again!" and the stain of this cowardice will cling to us forever."

When this country voted for Trump, a convicted felon, sexual assaulter, liar, cheat, and fraud as its leader, we should have expected that dishonorable man to align himself with like-minded criminals.

And he did.

THE NEWLY CONFIRMED FBI DIRECTOR JUST SAID THIS:

Kash Patel calls for “offensive operations” to jail Americans who they consider “the enemy.”

("...who they consider..." Not who has been adjudicated by a court of law as an enemy of the U.S.! Just anyone "they consider" the enemy.

Are you people paying attention to those words? Do you think they're joking?

Do you even care?)

“We will go out and find the conspirators... Yes, we are going to come after the people in the media”

(This is how Viktor Orban set up his dictatorship in Hungary. He got rid of all the media who didn't kiss his arse.

Are you paying attention? Why aren't Americans marching in  the streets over this? Liz Cheney was right. It appears the American people are sleep-walking into fascism.)

And this:

“The only thing that matters is power... A system of checks and balances? Haha. That’s a good one.”

Charlie Sykes:

The Bongino Principle The absurdity. It burns. When Bongino was bounced from his Fox News show back in 2023, I observed: “Our collective IQs just edged a bit higher with the news that we will be hearing less from Bongo.”

Indeed, Bongino’s appointment to the FBI is so fatuously ridiculous that it deserves to be known henceforth as the Bongino Principle.

Some of you are old enough to remember the “Peter Principle” which posited that employees tend to be promoted until they reach the level of their incompetence.

The Bongino Principle posits that competence, character, and qualifications are irrelevant in organizations cults that value only loyalty — and that no promotion is ever too imbecilic.

Here’s a small taste of the online persona of the man who will be the FBI’s new #2:

One third of the voting public elected the Convicted Felon who appointed the above low-life political hacks.

When a country elects a criminal to lead it, expect that criminal to surround himself with other felons, sexual assaulters, drunks, serial adulterers, former heroine addicts, liars, cheats, frauds, and imbecilic thugs, like Patel and Bongino.

To my fellow Americans: What are we going to do about this???

 Trump at CPAC:

Trump calls media outlets that don’t report on him favorably “a threat” and says “they shouldn’t be allowed to” say things he disagrees with.

Fascism in plain sight.

TRUMP DECLARES HIMSELF AMERICA'S KING.

"What do our founding documents say we're supposed to do with someone who declares themselves king of the United States?"

On Feb. 19, 2025, Trump reposted this on his social media. Patriots kicked out a king once before. We can do it again. There are no kings in America .

PS. Can you imagine if former Presidents Barack Obama or Joe Biden EVER posted ANYTHING like this?

The present Trumpublican Party has not condemned this insult to America by its Mad King Donald because they are disgusting cowards, traitors to our founding documents, and just plain sniviling, spineless idiots.

DON'T BLAME ME. I VOTED FOR THE WOMAN WHO DIDN'T PRAISE BUTCHERING DICTATORS.

Trump called Zelensky a "dictator," and sucks up to Putin who kills anyone who opposes him in any way and who named himself president of Russia for life.

Trump has no knowledge of history and doesn't know that England didn't hold elections either WHILE THEY WERE AT WAR FIGHTING NAZIS!

Zelensky didn't start the war; Putin invaded Ukraine.

Zelensky is polling higher in his country right now than Trump is in his.

Putin is an international criminal who murders his opponents, invades sovereign countries, and interferes in other countries' elections.

Trump is supporting an ex-KGB Communist (ex?) over our ally, Zelensky.

That is what Trump's base, the poorly educated, chose to lead our once proud America.

We are the laughing stock of the world -- hated by our neighbors and allies and admired by the world's butchers, criminals, and Nazis.

With Trump’s Prostration to Putin, Expect a More Dangerous World

Nicholas Kristof: "I’m not sure most Americans appreciate the monumental damage President Trump is doing to the post-World War II order that is the wellspring of American global leadership and affluence.

He’s shattering it. He’s making the world more dangerous. He’s siding with an alleged war criminal, President Vladimir Putin of Russia, and poisoning relations with longtime U.S. allies. The trans-Atlantic alliance is unraveling.

“We have Trump and his oligarchy of ignorant shoe shiners vandalizing the network of organizations, agreements and values — largely put in place by America since the Second World War — which have given most of us, including America, on the whole an extraordinary degree of peace and prosperity,” Chris Patten, the former British Conservative Party chairman and European foreign affairs chief, told me.

Patten’s tough language is a reflection of the distress in Europe, for he is a lifelong Americanophile, and now, as Lord Patten of Barnes, a model of British dignity and restraint. He added, “I love America and was once happy to regard its president as leader of the free world. Not any longer. Where are the American values that I used to admire?”

From someone in New Zealand:

"The USA is no longer a power for good in the world. It has dishonoured its alliances, betrayed its friends and is rapidly becoming a force for evil.

I used to love America and had faith it would hold to the values it espoused to the world. But your democracy is broken, your institutions and constitution have failed.

Tragic to watch, and worse is to come."

MAGA doesn't understand that the leopards are eating ALL the faces:

This is pure selfishness -- they love hurting people they hate -- just don't hurt them!

The democratic world will have to get along without America. It may even have to defend itself from it.

~ Andrew Coyne, The Globe and Mail, February 14, 2025
I wonder if we have underestimated the gravity of the situation the democratic world faces.
Even now, as the United States hurtles toward autocracy – the petty grotesqueries perhaps tell the story better than anything else: a reporter barred from the White House for not using the name “Gulf of America,” President Donald Trump naming himself chair of the Kennedy Center by a “unanimous” vote of its board – the tendency is still to describe events in relatively conventional terms. For example, the “mistakes” that Mr. Trump is said to have made in his dealings with Vladimir Putin, of the United States as an “unreliable ally” under Mr. Trump, and so forth.
But that is not the situation we are now in. The policies on Ukraine announced, or rather confirmed this week by Mr. Trump and his Defence Secretary, Pete Hegseth – peace talks without Ukraine; Ukraine locked out of NATO membership indefinitely; Russia keeps all territories gained since its illegal and unprovoked invasion, because, as Mr. Trump said, “they lost a lot of soldiers” taking them – are not, as described, irresponsible concessions to Russia.
They are not concessions at all. They are demands, aimed not at Russia but at Ukraine, and presented to it jointly by the United States of Russia and America. They are of a piece with the Trump administration’s very clear signalling that it will not be bound by Article 5 of the NATO treaty – that the United States will not, as promised, come to Europe’s defence should Russia broaden its attacks on it, but will, as Mr. Trump so memorably put it, let them do “whatever the hell they want.”
That is not merely an abrogation of its treaty commitments, or an abdication of America’s historic responsibilities, or even a declaration that the way is now open for other hostile powers to launch attacks on democratic states. The United States, under Mr. Trump, cannot be considered an idle bystander in the great twilight struggle between the democracies and the dictatorships, as it was in the 1930s. It is now on the side of the dictatorships.
The United States that openly threatens to invade Panama or Denmark – or to annex Canada – has not just stepped outside international law, including the basic Westphalian proscription of attempts to alter borders by force. Neither does a country that launches trade wars on a different country every day, including countries with which it has longstanding free trade treaties, reveal a simple lack of commitment to a rules-based approach to international trade. It is engaged in an all-out assault on both. It has become an outlaw state.
And in this regard, too, it is aligning itself with the dictatorships. That is what dictatorships do. It is intrinsic to their nature. Just as they refuse to be bound by law internally – we are counting down the days to when the Trump administration defies its first court order – so they recognize no law in their dealings with other states. (Or rules of any kind: you’ll have noticed they also cheat at sports. As does Mr. Trump.)
It is not just that the democratic world can no longer count on America. It is that America, under Mr. Trump, is no longer necessarily part of the democratic world: neither fully democratic in its own affairs, nor committed to the welfare of other democracies, but hostile to both. If the international order is to be preserved, then, it will have to be preserved, in part, from the United States. Certainly it will have to be rebuilt without it.
Which means abandoning all attempts to propitiate Mr. Trump on military matters, in hopes of “keeping NATO together,” that is with the United States in it. Not only will that do nothing to strengthen NATO, an organization to which Mr. Trump is viscerally opposed, but our desire to strike a deal only invites him to use it against us, as an instrument of blackmail.
We need to face some unpleasant facts. NATO, as a transatlantic democratic alliance, is dead. Henceforth the defence of Europe will be the responsibility of Europe. (And the defence of Canada? Wedged as we are between the United States and Russia, with the North an increasingly tempting prize? We better get some allies, fast.)
The same applies to the World Trade Organization, or any of the other instruments of international co-operation developed after the Second World War, in which the United States played such a constructive part: they will have to be reconstituted, de jure or de facto, without it. We will need new defence alignments, different trade arrangements, the works.
That is not our choice. That is America’s, or at least the Trump administration’s. The democratic world must therefore regard and treat it as it does the other non-democracies: not as an ally to be consulted but as an adversary to be contained.

SATURDAY NIGHT COMEDY

Because we need to laugh:

TRUMP/MUSK REGIME SHOOTING OFF THEIR MOUTHS BEFORE FINDING OUT THE FACTS.

“GIVE BACK THE MONEY, NOW!” Trump posted to Truth Social on Thursday.

Who? Reuters! The international news wire service founded in London, that has thousands of contributing journalists reporting from around the world.
Trump and Musk are raging that "radical left" news publication Reuters was given a was given a $9 million defense contract in 2018. And Musk's DOGE boys just discovered it!!!
“Reuters was paid millions of dollars by the US government for ‘large scale social deception,’” Musk wrote in a post he’s since pinned to his profile. “That is literally what it says on the purchase order! They’re a total scam. Just wow.”
WHAT CORRUPT IDIOTIC TRAITOROUS GOVERNMENT OFFICIAL WOULD AUTHORIZE SUCH A THING????
Um. Donald J Trump. He was president in 2018.
So, the contract was not a nefarious plot by a Democrat administration run Pentagon, to have Reuters to write nasty articles against Trump, as Musk is suggesting.
The contract, from the TRUMP Pentagon, went to Thomson Reuters Special Services, which is separate from the newsroom, and specializes in countering fraud and cyber threats. That is why it was a DEFENSE contract, that stipulated the mission was to COUNTER ‘large scale social deception."
Just like it says.
Trump and Musk are following the Dictator handbook, which says to prioritize muzzling, slandering and crushing the Free Press.
They already misrepresented payouts to POLITICO and the New York Times by USAID. No, they were not to commission bad articles against Trump either. They were government-wide SUBSCRIPTIONS to special wire news services over the course of 8 YEARS. Including the time TRUMP was President.
And The Associated Press, another international wire news service, was kicked out of the Trump/Musk news conference Tuesday, because it did not refer to the Gulf of Mexico as the "Gulf of America", which Trump has decreed ALL news organizations must do. Trump may tell America what to do, but the world will still call it the Gulf of Mexico, as it has been officially named for over 500 years.

BLACK HISTORY MONTH -- THE BATTLE OF BAMBER BRIDGE

In 1943 Black American soldiers faced off with white American military police during World War II on British soil.

Black American soldiers had to fight their own white American soldiers while in England where they were fighting the world war.

Why? Because the town, Bamber Bridge in Lancashire, was not segregated so they treated the black soldiers like all other races, but back in America segregation still existed so essentially the American army went to someone else’s country and demanded they adopt their racist practices

When the American military police found out that their own black soldiers were drinking at the same pubs as white people, they went in to arrest them. The people in the town got mad about that treatment and decided to then turn their pubs into “BLACKS ONLY DRINKING PUBS”

This pissed off the American military so guns went blazing and when word spread back at camp that black soldiers had been shot, scores of men formed a crowd, some carrying rifles and by midnight more American military police arrived with a machine gun-equipped vehicle.

The black soldiers also had no choice but to get rifles from British stores while others barricaded themselves back on base, so now it was American white soldiers verses American black soldiers This led to the death of one solider, the injury of seven, and 32 convictions.

Back in America the battle was hushed up because they didn’t want the country to find out that they were fighting their own soldiers which would anger the black population and weaken the morale in the country.

General Ira C. Eaker, commander of the Eighth Air Force, placed most of the blame for the violence on the white officers and MPs because of their poor leadership and use of racial slurs.

To prevent similar incidents happening again, he combined the trucking units into a single special command. The ranks of that command were purged of inexperienced or racist officers, and the MP patrols were racially integrated. Morale among black troops stationed in England improved, and the rates of courts-martial fell.

Although there were several more racial incidents between black and white American troops in Britain during the war, none was on the scale of that of Bamber Bridge

COURAGE, INTEGRITY, RULE OF LAW:

Federal prosecutors in New York and Washington resign after refusing to drop Adams charges

AS I'VE STATED, HE'S GONE MENTAL:

Donald Trump moments ago in the Oval Office: “Canada is going to be a very serious contender to be our 51st state."

Canada’s Ambassador to France said “These continued threats to our sovereignty violate international law”.

“Yes Mr. Trump we will definitely do that” *

*Putin and Xi glance at each other with a knowing smirk.

REMEMBER HOW THEY MADE FUN OF JOE BIDEN? LOOK AT THIS:

Trump, visibly confused and rambling, forgot why he was in the Oval Office—to swear in Tulsi Gabbard as DNI.

Instead, he tried to leave without doing it, leaving even Newsmax stunned.

At almost 79 years old, the decline is undeniable. This is not normal.

MUSK DOESN'T LIKE OUR CONSTITUTION...

and demands the judiciary branch obey his dictates.

Stunning.

Musk, a civilian no one voted for and who's never been vetted, wants to reinterpret our constitution so he can go about his work bending our country to his will.

Am I the only one who is slack-jawed in disbelief, watching this mountebank plunge America into a constitutional crisis?

Musk calls for ‘wave of judicial impeachments’

Tech billionaire Elon Musk on Wednesday called for judges to be impeached for checking the power of the Trump administration, as some of its efforts to overhaul the government get bogged down in legal fights.

MUSK HAS NO AUTHORITY TO CALL FOR ANYONE'S IMPEACHMENT. HE SHOULD HAVE HIS TRAITOROUS ARSE KICKED TO THE CURB.

IMMEDIATLEY.

Musk's kid speaks for all of us:

I FORGOT TO MENTION...

that Trump is an insecure, petty little worm of a tyrant:

Trump Orders NASA to Purge All Mentions of Women in Leadership On Its Websites

WE SUSPECTED THIS

It appears that Trump's co-president, Musk, is destroying government agencies that he and his fellow Trumpublican marauders have been salavating over for years to destroy.

Their destruction has nothing to do with saving money for the American people. It has to do with hurting the most vulnerable and marginalized among us -- and the world.

If Americans actually believe that the richest man in the world cares about saving American taxpayers' money and not making himself more powerful and richer, then I'll have a health care plan that is bigger and better than the ACA ready for you in two weeks!

Musk cuts based more on political ideology than real cost savings so far

WASHINGTON, Feb 12 (Reuters) - "The first phase of the rapid-fire effort by Tesla CEO, Elon Musk, and President Donald Trump to cut waste from government agencies appears driven more by an ideological assault on federal agencies long hated by conservatives than a good-faith effort to save taxpayer dollars, according to two veteran Republican budget experts."

Since Trump's inauguration on January 20, Musk has dispatched members of his Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to scrutinize sensitive personnel and payment information in government computer systems and led a successful drive to dismantle two agencies - one that provides a lifeline to the world's needy and another that protects Americans from unscrupulous lenders.

[SKIP]

But Douglas Holtz-Eakin, a former Republican director of the Congressional Budget Office (CBO), said the agencies Musk and Trump have targeted to date account for a tiny fraction of the overall federal budget, which is projected to reach $7 trillion this fiscal year, according to the CBO.

"They are not going to go into agencies that are doing things they like. They are going into agencies they disagree with," Holtz-Eakin, who has participated in past tax and spending negotiations in Congress, told Reuters."

TRUMP IS OUT OF HIS MIND!

JUST RECENTLY IN THE WH, WITH JORDAN'S KING AND THE SECY. OF STATE RUBIO:

Trump: "We don’t have to buy Gaza. We’re going to take it.”

Reporter: “Under what authority?”

Trump: “Under the U.S. authority.”

(NOTE:  There is no "U.S. authority" to take someone else's land and kick the inhabitants out of it. That's called an Act of War.)

THAT FEELING YOU GET WHEN YOU REALIZE THE MAN YOU WORK FOR IS INSANE:

MAGA loyalists, particularly Vice President J.D. Vance, have begun to suggest they will not abide by the rule of law,

Heather Cox Richardson:

MAGA loyalists, particularly Vice President J.D. Vance, have begun to suggest they will not abide by the rule of law, but before Trump and Vance took office, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts called out Vance’s hints that he would be willing to defy the rulings of federal courts as “dangerous suggestions” that “must be soundly rejected.”

Today the American Bar Association took a stand against the Trump administration’s “wide-scale affronts to the rule of law itself” as it attacks the Constitution and tries to dismantle departments and agencies created by Congress “without seeking the required congressional approval to change the law.”

“The American Bar Association supports the rule of law,” president of the organization William R. Bay said in a statement. “That means holding governments, including our own, accountable.” He cheered on the courts that “are treating these cases with the urgency they require.”

“[R]efusing to spend money appropriated by Congress under the euphemism of a pause is a violation of the rule of law and suggests that the executive branch can overrule the other two co-equal branches of government,” Bay wrote. “This is contrary to the constitutional framework and not the way our democracy works. The money appropriated by Congress must be spent in accordance with what Congress has said. It cannot be changed or paused because a newly elected administration desires it. Our elected representatives know this. The lawyers of this country know this. It must stop.”

From Talking Points Memo:

Trump's DoJ appears to be disorganized and incompetent:

Overnight, the Justice Department had to file two separate corrections in pending court cases to clean up misstatements of fact they made to federal judges in open court. It’s an excruciating thing for any lawyer to have to do, but especially for the Justice Department which has prided itself on being a reliable narrator and has earned, for better or worse, the benefit of the doubt in federal court.
The impact and significance of the admitted errors isn’t entirely clear yet, but they undermine the Justice Department’s credibility and make it clear to the judges involved that these are not careful, considered, prudent government actions that deserve to be treated as regular or normal.
In the Treasury-DOGE case, the Justice Department now says it was mistaken when it told the court that since-resigned DOGE associate Marko Elez was a special government employee. He was in fact a Treasury Department employee.
In the USAID case, the Justice Department admitted it was wildly wrong when it told the court that 500 employees were placed on leave. The actual number was 2,140. It also mistakenly told the court that only future USAID contracts had been frozen when in fact existing contracts had been frozen as well.
The pace of the destruction unleashed by the White House combined with its disorganization, its ham-handedness, and the lack of involvement from lawyers at the front end has created an enormous mess for the Justice Department to try to clean up in real time in court. It’s not been pretty.
Trump being sloppy and non-strategic is neither new nor a surprise, but it might provide an opening to fend off some of his worst actions in his first three weeks in office.

AND THERE IT IS

Trump says no judge “should be allowed” to rule against his administration .

Trump is telling us he is above the Constitution and that no law applies to him.

Trump said he'd be dictator, but only for one day. But, we know Trump is a lying liar. He meant for his entire presidency.

Trump has no intention of obeying the courts.

When you put a convicted felon -- a law breaker -- into office, expect him to break the law.

This is what authoritarianism looks like. It’s taken 249yrs to come to America. It’s up to the American people to resist it. To defeat it. I hope we do.

Just In the last few hours, Trump has:

-Signed an executive order directing the DOJ to halt enforcement of anti-bribery laws for foreign officials.

-Pardoned ex-Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich, convicted on corruption charges.

-His DOJ ordered NY prosecutors to drop corruption charges against NYC Mayor Eric Adams.

 Donald Trump IS the swamp.
