Trump: "BONE-SPUR BOZO"

Roger Cohen of the NYTimes perfectly describes what #45 is when he's compared with a man who spent 5 years being tortured and held prisoner while he, Trump, bragged about having so much sex (while enduring a bone spur) that he risked getting an STD during the Vietnam conflict.

Only the most craven would continue to support a zero like Trump:

Senator John McCain, Republican of Arizona and a decorated Vietnam War veteran, picked up on those foot issues in a C-Span interview the other day. McCain, who is fighting brain cancer, said of the conflict: “We drafted the lowest income level of America, and the highest income level found a doctor that would say they had a bone spur.”

That would be Trump, the coward who gets his testosterone kick from nuclear brinkmanship. [...] When a draft-evading bone-spur bozo takes on a man of character who put his life on the line for his country and knows what the United States means to the world, the result can only be ugly. Trump will look very small. He will look smaller than his fingers, as small as his spite. No puffed-up chest, no jutting upraised chin will be able to conceal the zero at his heart.

The New Yorker (Trump, The Creepy Clown) cover:

Bone-spur Bozo promised to "drain the swamp?"

Instead he's made it bigger and swampier:

Small company from Trump Interior chief's hometown wins massive contract to restore Puerto Rico's power

A tiny company from the Montana hometown of Trump Interior secretary Ryan Zinke that had just two full-time employees the day Hurricane Maria hit Puerto Rico has been awarded a $300 million contract to restore the island’s power.

He may be a draft dodging dirtbag

... but don't forget the dirtbag grades himself 100% for his Puerto Rican relief.

These profiteers are extracting as much as they can from the island even as it copes with massive devastation.
They can't pull this level of corruption in Texas or Florida so they'' triple the graft where they can.

Drain the swamp, indeed.

The way things are going we can soon declare Washington DC one big "wetland" do to swamp creep.

From Ducky's link above:

The unusual decision to instead hire a tiny for-profit company is drawing scrutiny from Congress and comes amid concerns about bankrupt Puerto Rico’s spending as it seeks to provide relief to its 3.4 million residents, the great majority of whom remain without power a month after the storm.

“The fact that there are so many utilities with experience in this and a huge track record of helping each other out, it is at least odd why [the utility] would go to Whitefish,” said Susan F. Tierney, a former senior official at the Energy Department and state regulatory agencies. “I’m scratching my head wondering how it all adds up.”

Sounds mighty swampy to me.

Oh, he drained the swamp, all right.
Then he hired everything he found in the sludge at the bottom.

Politicians are such great creatures. They live off the toil of others while living an elite existence professing how they are trying to help the average American. I share RN's sentiment that they are all pond scum.

DJT had as enviable military record which is in line with Clinton and Obama. His one saving grace is his disdain for politicians. If he would stay away from the personal attacks against others he could do great things for the American people. Of course that will never happen so it will be a long 3-7 years.

skud, when #45 was draft age, the U.S. had a raging war going on. 58,000 American men and women died fighting in Vietnam. Trump aws worrying about getting STDs from having so much sex while nursing a bone spur. Trump called his fear of getting an STD his own "personal Vietnam." What sort of a creep says things like that publicly? I'll tell you. A creep like Trump, an overgrown spoiled brat.

Yes, Clinton had deferments too. As Clinton biographer David Maraniss pointed out, although the deliberate delay in issuing Clinton’s draft notice was undeniably a case of special treatment, it was by no means an unusual consideration granted to Rhodes Scholars.

Mr. Obama said he considered joining the United States military when he left school but decided not to because the Vietnam war was over and "we weren't engaged in an active military conflict at that point".

"If he would stay away from the personal attacks against others..."

He never will because he has the mentality of a schoolyard bully.

KanaW, this latest plum give-away to Zinke's pals is business as usual for DC -- the sort of business as usual crap that #45 said he'd get rid of.

shud - “If he would stay away from the personal attacks against others he could do great things for the American people.”

Would you please expand on how Trump’s personal attacks against others have prevented him from doing great things for the American people. I don’t see the connection. References and examples would be appreciated.
