First thought...
President Trump has now pledged an "orderly transfer of power" to Joe Biden. A presidency that will not acknowledge that he lost and free, fair and fraud free election is not able to make that "orderly transfer of power" happen. And President trump continues to lie about winning the election.
He did not. Full stop. He lost by millions of votes. He lost in the Electoral College. He had a chance to show evidence of fraud, in courthouses across the nation, and he had none. His saying it is true, does not make it so.
His offer of a "orderly transfer of power" is nothing more than the pleading of an abusive husband telling his battered wife he loves her and asking to be allowed back into her good graces.

It is not just President Trump. Republican members of Congress like Ted Cruz, Mitch McConnell and hundreds of others enabled this. They enabled the conditions that led to an insurrection. They used language that encouraged people, to wage combat on the American people and the Capitol.
All of them have the blood of those four people who died yesterday on their hands.
They too need to face the music.

I saw no insurrectionists shot in the back yesterday. I saw not a one with a knee on his or her neck for 8 minutes, choking the life out of them. I heard no cries of disgust from the right calling the insurrectionists thugs, gangsters, murderers, scum or anti American.
I saw no Capitol Police beating ppl like they did in June 2020 when it became time to clear a peaceful protest from Lafayette Square in DC.
If anyone still believes there is no difference in the way law enforcement treats people of color as opposed to how they treat white people, they are willfully not paying attention. These were insurrectionists. The Capitol Police should have rounded them all up and arrested them. For trespassing, inciting violence, murder, domestic terrorism, failure to disperse and probably a dozen other charges.
Because if this mob had been filled with people of color, those still alive today would all be in prison or hospital beds, chained to a bed rail.
