Living in a DC suburb, we’re all just wanting this to be over and begging those who want to counter protest to JUST STAY HOME!! Let them yell and scream, pound their fists and hold their breath. Let the MPD and the National Guard deal with the babies and then they can sadly go home to a new President.

Folks should be reminded of this: Remember Skokie, IL, where neo-Nazis planned a 1978 march into a locale heavily populated with Holocaust survivors. The residents decided not to go out to watch the march and eventually the fascists called it off.
I just wish the media would not cover it. Let Fox, Breitbart, etc. cover it if they want to sympathize with them but everyone should tune it out as hopefully the last gasp of the horrendous trump administration.

History does not repeat itself; it does rhyme, though. 'Chicago 1968' was the dying gasp of extremist anti-establishment radicals. The revolutions and revolutionaries shot their bolt and were soon extinguished.
November's national elections have put an end to the anti-USA MAGAts bullies by showing how shallow and empty their movement is. The thugs can make noise but in the end, are powerless.
The dead-ender ruffians are without hope. Their gathering in Washington D.C. is their dying gasp and will not end well for them. These lemmings may make noise but that is all.
81 million people voted for Biden. More people support him. In this democracy he won.

I've always said that essentially America is a center left country. 81 million voters confirmed that. Destructive radicals on both ends of the political spectrum rarely change anything. The work is always done in the middle.
