SUNDAY TRUTH BLOGGING

Evidence collected over many years, obtained from many locations, indicates that the power of Prayer is insufficient to stop bullets from killing school children.

"The Real Dave Miller" is a fraud, like his GOP president.

We don't believe anything liars and frauds have to say.

You, T.R.D.M., are an indecent, diseased person.

I deleted the fraud's comment.

No doubt one of WYD'S most ignorant as*holes.

I hope prayer is enough to flip Congress.

Les Carpenter said...

Don't bank on it Kevin. It's-a-gonna take a lot more than prayer.

True! We have been praying for it to end for years. Obviously, money trumps prayer. The NRA spends money, people get killed.

Jerry, you do realize the NRA doesn't even make the top fifteen in groups who make political contributions

Shaw Kenawe said...

Anonymous, what does that matter? The NRA spends just enough to keep their GOP lackeys in line. And it's worked for them.

Kevin Robbins said...

Absolutely agree, RN. "Faith, by itself, without works is dead."

Jerry Critter said...

Anon, So what? Which organizations contribute the most money is an entirely different subject.

No it isn't Jerry. You're acting like the NRA is giving out guns not political contributions. The trial lawyers give untold millions to protect their cash cow...no tort reforms. The teachers union does the same to fight school choice. The NRA does not advocate mass killings but gun and hunting safety. We have a second amendment which allows citizens to own fire arms.

Anon: "The NRA does not advocate mass killings but gun and hunting safety. We have a second amendment which allows citizens to own fire arms."

That's a g-d lie. The NRA has lobbied states to make it unlawful to study firearm deaths. The NRA has lobbied and succeeded in getting some states to make it unlawful for pediatricians to ask parents if they own guns and if they keep those guns locked up.

Ask yourself why the NRA would want to do that?

Trial lawyers, teachers unions do not advocate selling deadly weapons.

Of course the NRA is too slimy to openly advocate for mass killings, it just bribes US law makers to pass laws to make it easier for people to do so.

Les Carpenter said...

Shaw, the NRA has become a primary advertising agency to ensure that firearms manufacturers can continue to sell their wares. And it has worked. Once again it boils down to the almighty dollar.

None of the folks you mention advocate for mass killings. But they do find rationalizations that allow them to continue their capitalistic pursuit of maximum profit.

In this instance it IS immoral.

Les, most are content to have just one such hole. Lisa at WYD has many.
