20,000 People Came to Listen to Senator Warren.

A year from now we'll know who'll likely be the next POTUS.

I'm impressed by Senator Warren, her intelligence, her humanity, her spunk. How sweet would it be for her to beat the pants off the man who mocked her. She's been drawing larger and larger and more enthusiastic crowds. This reminds me of the Obama campaign in its beginning, the idea that people began to embrace:  An African-American president?! Yes!

Are we Americans now believing we can, we WILL have, finally, a woman for POTUS?

I'm looking at Senator Warren's momentum, her ideas, her solutions, her energy!

GO ELIZABETH!

At Her Biggest Rally, Elizabeth Warren Laid Out A Model For Her Own Kind Of Movement

In a speech in New York City's Washington Square Park, Elizabeth Warren brought her plans together under an anti-corruption message with an inside/outside strategy to create change.

“As bad as things are, we have to recognize that our problems didn’t start with Donald Trump,” she said. “He made them worse, but we need to take a deep breath and recognize that a country that elects Donald Trump is already in serious trouble.”

There were two signals of Warren’s strategy the morning before the speech: a new plan and a new endorsement. The plan, a series of proposals to fight corruption, spelled out new rules that would dramatically change how lobbyists operate, how campaigns are funded, and how politicians disclose their own financial interests. The endorsement came from the Working Families Party — the progressive activist group that backed Sanders in 2016 and could boost a Warren White House’s inside/outside approach.

Maurice Mitchell, the group’s national director, introduced Warren Monday night. Warren’s comparison between herself and Perkins was nearly explicit. (At one point, she referred to Perkins as “one very persistent woman,” a callback to an early tagline for Warren’s campaign). Her campaign reached out to Perkins’ grandson, Tomlin Perkins Coggeshall, who gave them barn boards from the Perkins’ homestead. Aides said they used the boards to construct the podium Warren used on Monday.

“We’re not here today because of famous arches or famous men. In fact, we’re not here because of men at all,” she said near the start of the speech. “We’re here because of some hard-working women.”

Before we all get too far in front of ourselves, let's remember Howard Dean was the flavor du jour awhile back and we got John Kerry. There's still a lot of electioneering to go.

That being said, Warren looks strong. She's knowledgeable and knows hows to talk about the issues in ways that connect to the "dinner table" where Moms and Dads fight it out over bills, school for the kids and how to live life.

May she win in a landslide and humiliate the rotten bastard and the fools who voted for him.

In 2016 41.6% of the US electorate chose a tawdry excuse for a male to lead the country. We ponder the percent of that peculiar sector which might choose an accomplished well spoken woman whose economic expertise made her honored in the academic world, whose charisma earned her a 60% Senate win. It seems like a no brainer

Sorry folks, Warren may work for the coastal elites but she won't fly between the mountains....just like Hillary.

Sorry, Anon, Warren speaks to the working class and points out how the billionaires like Trump and his DC swampy friends rip off the working classes. You're woefully uninformed on this.

PS. TRUMP IS A COASTAL ELITE! He's a gawddamn billionaire who grew up in elitist NYC and owned his own gawddamn jet plane and poops in a golden crapper. Is that elite enough for you???

BB-Idaho, Warren came from a hard-scrabble family and got where she is by dint of her own intelligence and hard work, unlike the spoiled-brat, lying narcissist currently shaming the Oval Office.

She's got the spark that's needed to fire up the non-Trumpers and even some of the misguided ones who regret voting for the disaster.

Sorry but it's you who is uninformed. Her plan to take away the private healthcare of 180 million Americans is sure to be real popular, especially among UAW and AFL-CIO workers who fought for years to get those rights.

Anonymous Where's Trump's plan he promised? Remember? He was going to repeal and replace the ACA. He's done neither. He's managed to throw people off their plans.

Warren's plan is better than Trump's NO PLAN.
