His death was one of my "I know exactly where I was when I heard the news" moments.

I think a lot of people heard the news like I did, from Howard Cosell in the middle of a Monday Night Football game broadcast. It stuck with me because at that moment, the reality of never hearing The Beatles together again hit home.

As I've aged, I'm not sure that would have happened and I've learned that on that night we lost an important voice, reemerging from his self imposed cocoon.

Lennon's genius reminding us AGAIN of our inadequacies and inabilities to embrace and accept truth.

It is far from unreasonable to believe the wheels will still be spinning and bullets still flying a 1000 years from now if the human race manages to survive. Something that is debatable for sure...

Re: Your banner. Dozens of courts have rejected Trump and his allies' debunked and meritless claims, and now the highest court in the land has joined them — without a single dissent — in repudiating this assault on the electoral process.

This election is over.

Joe Biden won.

Ducky, I'd never heard that song or her. Heartbreaking. Thanks for introducing me to it.
