"Eight of the 10 states with the highest covid death rates adjusted for age have Republican governors: Mississippi, Oklahoma, Alabama, Texas, Tennessee, Arizona, Arkansas and Indiana. (Nevada and Kentucky are the exceptions, coming in 6th and 10th, respectively.)
Similarly, nine of the 10 states with the worst vaccination rates — Wyoming, Mississippi, Louisiana, Idaho, Indiana, Tennessee, Alabama, Ohio, West Virginia and North Dakota — have GOP governors.
Of these, only Louisiana is led by a Democrat, and all of them voted for defeated former president Donald Trump in both 2016 and 2020.
The same divergence between red and blue states exists with respect to murder rates, as well. The center-left think tank Third Way reports:
“In 2020, per capita murder rates were 40% higher in states won by Donald Trump than those won by Joe Biden.”
Even more dramatically, “8 of the 10 states with the highest murder rates in 2020 voted for the Republican presidential nominee in every election this century.”

Well, maybe red is befitting of the GQP. Isn't the devil always, or usually depicted as red?
This is not surprising and should be made clear to every American.
Since everyone's innate nature is goodness, ie compassion, kindness, and love, it's a conscience choice they make to follow the path of ignorance and greed (ie ego & pure self interest).
Crime is local and the cities where these crimes are being committed are run by democrat, liberal mayors and city prosecutors. Check your facts.

Republicans generally don't win in urban areas because they have large minority populations. Why is that? Republicans win only white majorities. Why is that? If you don't know by now...
State laws and corporations moving jobs out of cities are additional factors. Democrats have no power in urban areas outside the US. It is urban poverty amid high population density, NOT the party of the mayor.

Like violent crime, property crime is lowest in rural areas. Further, this urban-rural difference has been found in Canada, England, Australia, and the Netherlands. These statistics present criminologists with the challenge of explaining why crime levels are much higher in urban than rural areas.
But the ignorant bigots will still blame democrats. It's their indoctrination.
