The Jan. 6 select committee says its evidence has shown that then-President Donald Trump and his campaign tried to illegally obstruct Congress’ counting of electoral votes and “engaged in a criminal conspiracy to defraud the United States.”
In a major release of its findings, filed in federal court late Wednesday, the committee suggested its evidence supported findings that Trump himself violated multiple laws by attempting to prevent Congress from certifying his defeat.
Let me repeat that: The January 6 Committee has evidence that shows that Trump"engaged in a criminal conspiracy to defraud the United States."
And that investigative committee doesn't even include Trump's latest treachery: Siding with the bloody dictator Putin against America, as the Russian dictator invades, bombs, and illegally occupies a sovereign nation.
Instead of standing with the Ukrainians, America, and the rest of the free world, Trump praised and admired Putin's brutality. Trump's support of an international criminal is consistent with Trump's love affair with tyrants, dictators, and totalitarians.
The wheels of justice move slowly but what the J6 committee reported is a good development. I just wish all of Trump's enablers in the Trumpublican Party would not get the pass they continue to receive from too much of the MSM and too many voters.
Democrats are not perfect, but they are the only party that supports democracy and the rule of law verses Trumpublicans who support voter suppression, cheating. stealing, lying, and totalitarian regimes. The Trumpublican Party and their minions have been weak on democratic values for decades, and Trump has weakened the party's traditional anti-Putin aggression even more by excusing Putin's latest atrocities and crimes against humanity .
The Ukrainian people, in their determination and willingness to sacrifice for their democracy, serve as a role model for the world. May we Americans be strong and wise enough to get through our own democratic crises and electorally remove anti-democracy Trumpublicans from power. May we also have the strength to be generous in our support of democratic countries needing our help.
Trump's name will forever be associated with criminal world leaders who seek to destroy democratic nations and slaughter innocent people. He and his cultists deserve our and the world's undying disgust and contempt for all eternity.

I think my brain autocorrected the sentence.
tRump has made it fashionably acceptable (for many in the GQP) to embrace ignorance, chaos, and pure evil. It is now simply pit in the open in full view. America has been greatly diminished.
Don't hold your breathe Shaw. These tRumpublicans are fully conditioned and indoctrinated in undemocratic and unethical methods to employ in achieving their ego driven self interest in amassing power. They are authoritarian in nature and are desirable of subjugating all to their will.
We are still five months away from any legal actions being taken against trump. I wish it were sooner but it is not the best time to do that so it will be pushed back.
He still dominates the media, with the exclusion of the russia attack which took front page.
skud Trump is still in the news because the J6 Committee is releasing bit by bit some of the information they've received from people in the former Trump administration. And it's eyepopping!
We now know that dozens of Trump's own advisors and election experts told him he lost the election and that THERE WAS NO FRAUD -- Trump's own AG told him as well as others in high places in his administration.
Why do you suppose Trump ignored that truth and spread a Big Lie to his cultists, telling them the election was stolen? What kind of evil person does that? Look what Trump's lie did to this country.
More and more will come out of this investigation about how Trump conned his cultists.
That's why he's in the news. And it IS newsworthy because no other POTUS has done the sort of damage Trump has done to America.
There's a type of bully that bullies everybody "below" him, and kowtows to everyone above him. Those bullies are easy for the prime bullies to control.
skud feigns support for tRump being held accountable. However, all the rest of his chatter clearly indicates he is anxious for a trial because he is really hopeful that tRump skates and can continue to work to bring down our democratic republic. He of course is not alone. Millions feel the same.
