BREAKING:

Non-Trumper Conservative Charlie Sykes:

"Trump’s family real estate business was convicted Tuesday of tax fraud and other financial crimes, a remarkable rebuke of the former president’s company and what prosecutors described as its 'culture of fraud and deception.'"

 Much like his presidency.

NY jury CONVICTS Trump Organization on all counts. Two important takeaways: 1. this likely spells the end of Trump Org, and 2. this increases the odds of a NY prosecution of Trump himself, given that the prosecution argued “Evidence shows Trump 'explicitly' OK'd tax fraud.”

Guilty. Guilty. Guilty.

Every single charge.

Now there is proof of what many have said for years... The Trump Organization has been found guilty of tax evasion and a host of other charges. In fact, the TO was guilty on all counts brought against it by the state of New York.

Add all of this to his multiple bankruptcies and you have yourself quite a business titan.

As I was thinking today, perhaps a good business person would make, as many have suggested, a great president. Too bad Trump is not that person. Ask those who will now pay his fines about that. Right after all the vendors he's stiffed for years.

We'll just have to wait to see if justice, real justice, is served. It's tough not to be skeptical. Very skeptical.

And you can bet that his supporters will ignore this horrendous news.

It's another dose of reality that they have to face about the corrupt, anti-Constitution guy who continues to keep The Big Lie alive.

If inciting an insurrection against his own government; encouraging mobs to kill his own vice president; stealing top secret government property; telling Americans that the Constitution should be terminated; and NOW learning that the Trump Organization was a criminal enterprise -- if all that doesn't turn his supporters away from him in disgust and shame, then we know for sure that 30 to 40% of the American voting public supports and desires the United States of America to be a corrupt enterprise as well.

It's a sobering thought to know that so many Americans -- millions and millions of them -- have so little love for their country, but so much love for a crook who deceived them.

Ta da!

Right on cue:

From the SS Mother Ship:

I just heard Trump’s firm is guilty on all tax evasion charges……His CFO apparently only gets 5 months and insists Trump knew nothing of all of this but…CNN KNOWS BETTER! The NY TIMES KNOWS BETTER…saying things like”…Trump had to know because evidence given….blah blah”.

Well, what a RED LETTER DAY FOR THE DEMOCRATS!!!!!!!!!

Warnock will probably win and they GOT TRUMP on SOMETHING, at last!!

F’ them. (oops)

You know what? They sound like the parents of an obstreperous child who is constantly causing trouble and mayhem in school and whines to his mommy and daddy that the teachers and students are so mean to him.

Those kind of parents ALWAYS blame the school, principal, teachers, but NEVER the misbehaving, spoiled-rotten child.

It just dawned on me that is EXACTLY what Trump and his supporters sound like.

I wonder why they did not include Trump in the indictment? He owns the company and signed off on the illegal practices.

Shaw... The parents? Nah, they sound like petulant children who understand nothing about how the law works. This was a jury trial, the evidence showed that Trump knew, but the prosecution decided not to charge Trump... wait for it, right now.

Either way, blame shifting parent Karens, or blame denying children, the result is the same...

Trump Org is guilty of tax evasion, pure and simple.

I would've thought law and order conservatives would be celebrating the law working to convict criminals.

Guilty X 9.

Why does that person say it's a red letter day for the Democrats?

Shouldn't she be happy that justice prevailed.

It's a red letter day for justice!

Democrats had nothing to do with it.

Anon... clearly you don't read the newsletter on the Mothership...

They don't believe the charges against trump were fair to begin with... justice in their opinion has nothing to do with this. For them, R is good, always. Even when they trash the Constitution, or break laws. D is always bad. Always.

It's how they think...

I will still be shocked if he goes to jail for anything because remember his statement that he could shoot someone in the street and still get off. People with as much power as the POTUS will not be sent to jail. I doubt if hunter will serve time for selling influence because daddy if POTUS and was only VP when he was actively selling access to the VP.

There ya go again. Show the proof. You know, a link to credible verifiable information showing his guilt. Because until ya do it's just unsubstantiated rumor. Quite unlike the visual, audio, unquestionable truth of Trump's J6 insurrection. Aided and abetted by republican law makers (because they did shit and still say nothing).
