GUEST POST BY DAVE MILLER

What is the administration doing? They are now under order from the SCOTUS to effectuate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia from a prison in El Salvador and they want to get a SCOTUS decision on what "effectuate" means.

The SCOTUS will soon end all this with a very plainly worded order, but until they do, the Trump Admin is acting like five year olds parsing their parent's words to the nth degree.

I remember a day when private citizen Bill Clinton said "It depends on what the meaning of is, is." At least in a legal sense, he was correct. Now conservatives who were apoplectic then are positively giddy as the Trump Administration, not Trump the private citizen, thumbs their collective nose at the SCOTUS.

The only explanation I can think of for their obfuscation is almost too scary to voice...

Kilmar Abrego Garcia is either dead or seriously injured.

The man who fancies himself King has a following of, for the lack of a better word, imbeciles who refuse to even consider he is possibly wrong. And in fact is Making America the Lone Ranger going it alone in an interconnected and interwoven economy and political world.

Trump's MAGA will ultimately fail. And it will fail miserably. Because no one or no nation can effectively go it alone, or bully others to do their bidding, and expect to succeed.

Trump and his administration are playing with political and economic fire, and, they will ultimately get burned. Unfortunately many like Garcia (and all of us) will get burned in some, or perhaps many ways.

America has sold its heart and soul to a devil and his sycophants who are looking for a slice if the power and the perceived benefits of his corruption.

America is fast becoming No Longer America.

So the response by the FOTUS admin's DOJ to the SCOTUS is "you're not my dad so I don't have to do what you say"????

This is the Executive Branch challenging the Judicial Branch knowing they have the Legislative Branch in their pocket. I just....

Many wise minds have said there is no way FOTUS can allow anyone who's been to the gulag in El Salvador back in the States, not for their supposed crimes but because of what they saw, what they heard during the deportation and imprisonment process. Innocent humans who have rights, or had rights before the FOTUS admin stripped them away. It's been said that everyone here, every human here has the right to due process and if it can be stripped away here/now what is going to stop the FOTUS admin from stripping it away from us? I'm certain the trolls of our world feel safe but that's a false feeling because if you have anything this criminal admin wants all they have to do now is charge you with whatever works to seize your property. Can't happen I can hear them say but check the books (and history).

I know our trolls firmly believe they are part of the 'protected by the law' crowd and yeah, they are until they aren't (silent laugh as the FO part unwinds for the FA crowd).

Grey... if you've read the fever swamps as of late, you'll see the real views behind this policy.

They love the prez of El Salvador. Because he's getting tough on gangs, knocking heads, taking numbers and kicking ass. They believe that's what the US needs.

As the son of the Birchers, they've been waiting for this fight since the Warren Court codified our belief in a ban on inreasonable search and seizure, the presumption of innocence and the rights of a free and fair trial. As the Constitution says, all "persons" not citizens. And even when one commenter on the Mothership pointed that out, he was summarily attacked and dismissed.

If you're not a US citizen, born here to parents born here, you don't belong and whatever we need to do to get rid of you is fair game.

Maybe it's like this...

If you set up a gun to kill a person entering your house, you go to jail. They want that to be legal, especially as it relates to immigrants.
