The key players in Trump and his supporters' "deep state" theory are all Republicans.
Rob Rosenstein and Christopher Wray were appointed by Trump, Jim Comey and Robert Mueller were appointed by Republican presidents and asked to stay on in their positions by Democratic presidents.
The whole point of Trump and his supporters' "deep state" theory is to divert attention away from Trump's deep corruption and Robert Mueller's investigation into Trump's probable obstruction of justice and involvement with Russian oligarchs.
Trump defenders: THIS BOMB IS GOING TO HIT IT WILL BE SO BIG IT WILL DESTROY MUELLER & OWN THE LIBS.
[Bomb falls. Doesn’t detonate. Sand pours out of it. Wind blows. Coyote howls.]
Trump defenders: OMG DID YOU SEE HOW THAT DESTROYED MUELLER & OWNED THE LIBS?!?

... I ask the Trump haters out there to consider the reaction if this had played out in 2008, with Barack Hussein Obama as the target.
Democrats would be screaming bloody murder, and I go out on a limb to say, I think Republicans would be calling for heads to roll as well, rather than engaging in the embarrassing partisan fig leaf knitting Dems are doing now.
We are in police state territory.
Apparently, we ain't seen nothin' yet. They're going after the State Dept next. I didn't think there was anyone even working there. Go figure.
Nunes has been hanging around Trump too much. The simple is rubbing off.
It is puzzling why trump went after the guys HE APPOINTED in the FBI and DOJ! Now he's going to attack the State Dept.?
His behavior in all of this points to only one conclusion: GUILTY! GUILTY! GUILTY!
Guilty of what????
