So. What happened to Lindsey?

.....................................

Trump sure as hell hasn't changed. What made Lindsey change?

Graham needs to be guided. John McCain did that and did it well. Normally, you would think Graham would have been incensed when Trump denigrated his best buddy.
But he simply fell in line behind his new "guide". Sounds like some sort of bizarre
high level government Stockholm Syndrome effect. Unfortunately much of the electorate suffers the same delusion. We recall a few centuries back when the
medieval church infected the powers of government, resulting in the Dark Ages and
the Inquisition. But they are still at it. *maga*

Indeed BB Idaho. The majority of people by nature are followers. They want to be accepted and are happy to become part of the tribe. Graham is a loyal follower. He acted honorably when led by the honorable John McCain. Nnow, wanting to be a preferred follower in the Tribe of Trump he has jettisoned honor, truthfulness, the rule of law, and self respect in order to show unbending loyalty to a dishonest and indecent cult leader.

Up is down, lies are truth, honor is considered valueless, and all that matters is winning. NO MATTER HOW YOU WIN. Orwell was prophetic. Trump is living proof of this.

Joe Biden had his number when he called him a sidekick. I also think he is a ne'er-do'well.

What happened to Graham?

Look, he's always been conservative, willing to do, at least in SC, almost anything to keep his office. And he's doing that now. He's making a cold, political calculation. And if Trump loses, and Graham wins reelection, expect him to revert back. Like a chameleon.

Isn't that what many politicians do, even the Dems, especially when it comes to issues?

They are for/against them, before they are against/them.

States rights are a great example... both Dems and the GOP have supported and hated this concept, depending on the issue. Think abortion and clean air standards.

Possumlady, thanks for that link. That's my neighborhood, and I buy my whole wheat bread, bread crumbs, and Italian cookes at Parziale's bakery. (I dated a guy in high school who was from the Parziale family.)

There are a lot of annoying things about living here in Boston's North End: the parking is awful, the streets are almost impassable in the tourist high season, traffic, high cost of living. But the woman who wrote that piece reminded me of all the wonderful things living here offers. I love the fact that I can walk out my front door and in a few steps I can enjoy the Boston Harbor walkway. Also, with a 20 minute walk, I can get to the Charles River and enjoy miles of walking there. Train and bus stations are within a 10 or 20 minute walk, the subway system is within a 6 minute walk, and the airport is a 10 minute Uber ride. I've walked from my condo in the North End to Brighton Ave., a six mile walk, and enjoyed the shops and restaurants along the way. I have access to some of the world's best medical facilities and institutions of learning, museums, theaters, etc.

So it's true that there are challenges living here in the city, there are rewards as well. And the rewards outnumber the annoyances.

miles2go and Dave It's a mystery to me how Graham could have said such horrendous things about Trump and his character, and then completely dismiss them almost instantly in a matter of months.

A man is his character. Trump has NOT changed who he is. Graham has shown that he, along with Trump, lacks basic honesty and decency.

It is a mystery isn't it? Or maybe, using Occam's Razor as an explanation, Graham is just a partisan hack who has no values or consistent beliefs.
