Can you send a little of that to us in the desert?

Out here we've gone 241 days without rain. Bishop in the mountains of California has gone 239. Needles on the banks of the Colorado River has gone 210.

I think you're all getting our rain in your Nor'easter.

Did they give the kids in virtual school a snow day?

Stay safe and warm at least you don't have to shovel.

Dave, I wish I could!

skudrunner, I wish those guys crossing snowy Abbey Road were real. Unfortunately, I DO have to shovel my cah outta the pahking spot on my street, but not until the plows finish going back and forth. I look at it as an opportunity for exercise. I hiked 3 miles on Sunday in almost 60 degree F. temperatures.

We were on the tail end of the developing storm system that hit you. We got a morning dusting that melted by 10:00am.

Mike, It's tough to get this much snow this early in the season. It's not even officially winter! Boston got a foot of snow! Glad you escaped with just a dusting.

While you easterners bask in your snowfall, us hicks living out here in Las Vegas saw our record string of 240 rainless days end yesterday. We received, are you ready, .03 of an inch. Essentially, just barely enough for us to have to turn the wipers on.

It may not be global warming, but it is certainly global climate change.
