Looks ideal for getting away from the city for awhile. Anywhere with goats, is my kind've place. I'm obsessed with watching goat (especially goat babies) on youtube. It always brightens my day.
Hope you had a nice, destressing time, my friend.

Bluebullamerica,

I volunteer at a goat farm once a week, and help milk the goats. I've been doing this for two years, and I love it. The goats are Saanen milkers, and each doe has her own personality.

And I have some wonderful videos of the kids that were born in February. I'll try to upload them to P.E. so you can enjoy them!

As you can guess, I admire these animals as much as you do.

Beautiful animals! Must be hard to keep them so white and clean looking. I watch blue cactus dairy goats on youtube. They just finished with kidding season and have 48 spunky little heart string pullers jumping and playing. I could watch them all day long. :) I believe they have Nigerian Dwarfs. Love goat cheese, milk and soap. Here in the South, many municipalities are using herds of goats to eat the noxious weed growth and kudzu vines. Not only are the goats an excellent way to rid areas of these vexing weeds but they help aerate the soil with their sharp hooves and the leave fertilizer. It's an organic win-win.
