TRUMP CONTINUES TO LIE ABOUT THE ELECTION HE LOST

Trump has been a liar, cheat, and fraud all of his adult life, and he continues with his lying even as America and the world have moved on and accepted the fact that Joe Biden is the president-elect of the United States.

Trump lost; and his continued delusion that there was widespread fraud is embarrassing for America to listen to. There is no fraud. The simple truth is that Trump lost. Period.

In 2016 Trump lost the popular vote by 3 million. In 2020 he lost it (so far) by 5.5 million and was impeached for withholding arms from Ukraine unless they announced an investigation into his opponent's son. That makes him the only impeached President who lost two popular votes.

In other words, the biggest loser in the history of electoral politics.

This is just more proof that Trump is an authoritarian thug.

The terrifying thing is, over 70 million Americans are just fine with that.

72+ million voted for this slime shitgibbon. 80% continue to believe he won the election and that it is being stolen from him (them). Neither this 80% of 72 million people or the slime shitgibbon are going to go away just because he'll be out of the office he disgraced. And yes, it is terrifying because it is only going to drive a deeper and wider wedge between America's now competing internal interests.

It ain't going to be pretty and I doubt it is going to end well.

This is even more horrendous: The Washington Post reports that Trump “has not attended a coronavirus task force meeting in ‘at least five months... and is no longer regularly briefed on the pandemic by his team of doctors,” and “has all but ceased to actively manage the deadly pandemic.”

Why is Trump fighting to keep a job he no longer wants?

Because he is using all of this as a springboard to the next miserable chapter in his miserable life. He loves attention so he is building the framework for his future media venture and his future political organization from which he can launch untold cons, conspiracy bullshit, and drive a deeper and wider wedge. And 70 million Americans desirous of authoritarianism in government will embrace him just as they have for 5 unfortunate destructive years.

He never did want to do the actual work. Being president keeps the SDNY off his back and staves off going to prison for financial skullduggery. It gives him access to the cheering rallies that momentarily soothe his narcissism. It invites bribes and favors from crooked corporations and foreign gangster-regimes. And his ego can't endure acknowledging defeat.

So low has the presidency of the United States sunk.

RN, Sixteen federal prosecutors specially assigned to monitor 2020 election malfeasance told AG Barr in a letter today they saw no evidence of substantial voting irregularities, & asked him to rescind his recent policy change.

Take a breath because it will all be over soon. Now that the exalted one has spoken and says trump is not john wayne or clint eastwood all is right with the world and he should know. If it wasn't for his bungling and total disregard for the middle working class trump would not be president.

It is not a coincidence that big pharma announced the test results of their vaccine just five days after the election. When you put big pharma as your target it will not end well and it didn't.

Howard Stern says New Trump TV network would fail within a year... but who knows? The magamorons are certainly eager to give Dotard their money. Me, I hope he's too busy defending himself in court to launch a network.

Infidel753, Imagine living in a country where a pandemic is raging and killing 10s of thousands of its citizens and the head of that country says and does nothing about it as states try to cope with their hospitals filling up with dying victims of that pandemic?

I live in that country. I thought I lived in America, but apparently I'm wrong. I'm living in Trumplandia where the head of that country is too invested in licking his wounds after being defeated by a better man than he is and that same leader concerned only with his delicate feelings.

Turns out that the Trumpistas who thought their guy was invincible were wrong. Their guy is a weak little coward and sore loser.

Derv I just look forward to seeing Trumpie GONE! I hope the MSM leave us alone and stop reporting on his every lie and complaint. That's all he's good at. He's a miserable failure at governing.

skudrunner, you'll forever blame everyone but Trump for his failures and defeats.

You sound just like him. He never takes responsibility for his failures either. What is it with Trumpers who are unable to understand that when you exalt and support a liar, a cheat, and a fraud to head a country THINGS DON'T END WELL FOR HIM OR THE COUNTRY.

Your willful inability to place the blame for what this country is suffering is a result of buying into Trumpism and its destructive, unAmerican ethos.

Lying, cheating, and conning people never ends well, as is evident in what's happening in Trump's Covid-19 America.

Blaming Barack Obama for Trump's ascendency in American politics is exactly what cowards do because they can't take personal responsibility for their rotten choices and what those choices have done to America.

I waste my time pointing this out to you. You're never going to admit that Trump became president because people like YOU voted for him. Stop blaming Mr. Obama.

Thankfully enough Americans saw fit to kick his unworthy posterior out of office -- almost SIX MILLION of our fellow Americans said ENOUGH of this lying, cheating, and conning.

It's very rare for a sitting president to lose getting a second term. Instead of blaming others for Trump's failure to get re-elected, I suggest you face what he is and accept the will of the people.

President Obama said it best when commenting on Trump who is a weak little man who blames other people for his failures:

From Digby's blog:

President Obama: "Trump, Obama noted, is not exactly an exemplar of traditional American manhood. “I think about the classic male hero in American culture when you and I were growing up: the John Waynes, the Gary Coopers, the Jimmy Stewarts, the Clint Eastwoods, for that matter. There was a code … the code of masculinity that I grew up with that harkens back to the ’30s and ’40s and before that. There’s a notion that a man is true to his word, that he takes responsibility, that he doesn’t complain, that he isn’t a bully—in fact he defends the vulnerable against bullies. And so even if you are someone who is annoyed by wokeness and political correctness and wants men to be men again and is tired about everyone complaining about the patriarchy, I thought that the model wouldn’t be Richie Rich—the complaining, lying, doesn’t-take-responsibility-for-anything type of figure.”

Digby: "Ain’t that the truth. The old model was John McCain. And there were plenty of flaws with those guys too. Even the masculine heroes in my book like Nelson Mandela or Mark Twain or Franklin Roosevelt were flawed human beings who didn’t fit that movie mold he speaks of, weren’t infantile whiners and delusional braggarts as Trump is.

Honestly, looking beyond Trump’s obvious incompetence and ignorance the idea that anyone would like a person with his personality, much less put him up on a pedestal as a great leader, is what continues to confuse me more than anything. I will never wrap my mind around the idea that such a lying, whiny little bitch who trowels on makeup and dyes his hair became the hero of the aggressively macho American right wing.

If it wasn't for Obama fixing the economy after gwb bungled it Dotard wouldn't have had a great economy to falsely claim credit for. Now Biden is going to have to fix the mess Dotard's bungling of the coronavirus pandemic created.

As for Big Pharma wanting Biden to be president, they must be angry that Dotard fulfilled his promise to give every citizen health care at a lower price.
