Good News!

Biden says U.S. will have enough coronavirus vaccine doses for every adult by end of May

The administration has been working to increase the supply and distribution of the three authorized vaccines.

The Best News:

Joe Biden is POTUS and Donnie Trump is the EX-president and is in Mar-a-Lago whining about the election he lost!

Crazy Trump News:

EX-president Trump claimed that the COVID-19 pandemic was a Democratic hoax. Yesterday, we found out that EX-president Trump received a vaccination against said "hoax," and kept it a secret from his cultists. And that, my friends, is so typical of the lying, cheating fraud that we threw out of office last November.

The most telling part of this report, to me, is that he didn't want people to know he got the vaccine! He wants protection for himself but not Americans. Just like telling the January 6th rally he'd "be there with you" when they stormed the Capitol. "Cowardly little weasel" is the appropriate term for people like Trump.

You didn't mention that Biden Cancels Dr. Seuss
Dr. Seuss Books Won't Be Published for Racist Reasons!
Just look at what “Accomplishments” the Resident of the White House has managed to do already.

6 Dr. Seuss books will NOT be published any longer due to RACIST, INSENSITIVE IMAGERY!
“Ceasing sales of these books is only part of our commitment and our broader plan
We Intend to Ban those books”

WHAT?
This is NOT a Joke!
"National Reading Month began on Monday, and Tuesday is “Read Across America Day,” which is celebrated on the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel, known to millions of children over many decades as Dr. Seuss." however......
BUT:
"Unlike past years, Dr. Seuss’s legacy won’t be celebrated so much in 2021. While Joe Biden’s predecessors have all acknowledged Dr. Seuss in their presidential proclamations for Read Across America Day, the current president refused to mention his name."
"But the beloved children’s author is noticeably absent from Joe Biden’s proclamation, released on Monday."

President Donald Trump continued the tradition by mentioning Dr. Seuss Across America Day proclamation except in 2017 when the First lady Melania Trump read Dr. Seuss to children at a Hospital.

Moonbat Hunter,

The reason you're a Trump cultist is because you do not believe in truth or facts.

The decision to cease publication and sales of the books was made last year after months of discussion, the company told AP.

"Dr. Seuss Enterprises listened and took feedback from our audiences including teachers, academics and specialists in the field as part of our review process. We then worked with a panel of experts, including educators, to review our catalog of titles," it said.

It was the Dr. Seuss Enterprise that made the decision. President Biden had nothing to do with it.

I published your stupid lie to counter its false information. Your fundamental aversion to truth and facts is disgusting, but typical of a Trump cultist.

Replays are way off topic but I will respond to the topic. It is great news that all willing Americans will be vaccinated by the end of May. I actually go in for my first shot today. It is encouraging that joey used his power to get two companies to cooperate on increasing available manufacturing of vaccines.

Even though joey had zero to do with the push for development of the vaccine and lied about starting out with no resources he is the president and needs our cooperation. He predicted it will take four years to get a vaccine developed which it would have if it was handled by a career politician he still deserves credit for increasing doses.

White House sidesteps question on Dr. Seuss after Biden erased him from Read Across America Day and instead calls it a day for celebrating 'diverse' authors

Two months ahead of schedule is great. Maybe we can get back to normal by fall if most Americans will get vaccinated. We will then be 35 trillion in debt and we haven't included the spending Biden wants for his other programs. And there has been no effort to get Congress to raise taxes. I know Biden wants to raise taxes, we will see if he can get that done.
I don't believe in banning (not publishing) Dr. Seuss, but it was not Biden's decision.
Republicans like to take these issues, claim they are Democratic policies and claim the whole Democratic party supports these ideas.
I don't believe in Political Correctness, or the Cancel Culture. The Democrats should shy away from supporting those ideas, or they will continue to be attacked by Republicans for those ideas and many Americans will agree with those attacks.

No, not "all" of them like you insinuate. 6 of them had problems out of 70+ books. They tried to fix the problems with updates, but eventually decided to not publish them. I think they could have rewritten them if they tried a little harder.

skud "Even though joey had zero to do with the push for development of the vaccine and lied about starting out with no resources he is the president and needs our cooperation."

President Biden did not say there were no "resources" for COVID-19. You made that up. What his administration claimed and what is the truth is that the Trump administration's plan had some key holes, including a failure to communicate with the states and cities about the rollout and inadequate funding for vaccine distribution. The Trump plan: rely on the states. for the distribution of the vaccines throughout this country. That made a patchwork mishmash of how the vaccines would be distributed. Chaos.

Trump didn't give a flying fig for his fellow Americans during this pandemic. He mocked those who promoted and wore masks and who promoted other good health habits to slow down the spread of the virus.

A real leader would have listened to the experts and adjusted the information about best practices against the virus as new data was received. He didn't do that. Trump is responsible for many American deaths because of his incompetence in handling the virus (And YES! Trump did suggest injecting disinfectant into the body! Unbelievably stupid!). His administration gets some credit for Operation Warp Speed, but Trump acted against almost every pre-caution the CDC and infectious disease experts advised.

Jose "White House sidesteps question on Dr. Seuss after Biden erased him from Read Across America Day and instead calls it a day for celebrating 'diverse' authors"

Is that the hill you and your pals want to die on? Dr. Seuss?

Only a handful of his books, CHOSEN BY THE LATE AUTHORS OWN "DR. SEUSS ENTERPRISE" were taken back. That's it.

Celebrating "diverse authors" sounds like a real American value. You got a problem with that?

Mike Trump trolls have their knickers in a twist over Dr. Seuss's books while America is second only to India in Corona virus deaths! It's easier for them to bitch about Dr. Seuss than face that grim reality of Trump's epic incompetence.

There needs to be accountability for the folks who blew the Covid response. From Trump and Kushner down. It was the greatest national security and public health failure in American history. And we need justice to heal and honor the lost.

Yeah I do!
And the amount of books ghat were BANNED was 6, not “a few”,
It used to be that in this country, we DIDN’’T BAN books ... Not 6, and not a Few”

Jose

Dr. Seuss wrote 60 books. Six were taken off the market.

Get your damn facts straight. Dr. Seuss Enterprises did this! Got a problem? Take it up with Dr. Seuss Enterprises. That's who did this.

Dr. Seuss Enterprises explained in a statement released on Tuesday that its mission is to support all children and families with “messages of hope, inspiration, inclusion, and friendship.” And after working with a panel of experts, which included educators, it decided to cease licensing and publishing those particular titles. “These books portray people in ways that are hurtful and wrong,” the company said.

NO MORE COMMENTS WILL BE ACCEPTED ON THIS SUBJECT.

Do these idiot Trumpers think the government should FORCE the publisher to print the 6 mooks they decided were not going to be printed anymore? When was there a round-up of old copies of these books from people's homes? I missed it. I'll just chalk it up to the moronic right's usual panties in a bunch whining over nothing.
