It is difficult to understand...

but a third of the people in America want this sociopath to be POTUS again. In my, and many others', lifetime we never, never imagined a person as depraved as Trump would become the representative of the American people, and yet he did. And even when Americans saw his corruption, perversion, and degradation of that office, they decided that they wanted more.

I don't recognize America anymore.

I guess we should take Trump's "Joe Izuzo" word on it. He says he's innocent, so he is. No need for a court trial, a jury of peers, evidence, nothing. Perhaps that's the standard MAGA folks want for all crime?

When we have a reasonable case, we can just ask the person if he/she did it, and accept their answer.

Cause no one would ever lie about it right?

Perhaps if we were talking about a saint, but Trump is no saint, has shown himself incapable of speaking the truth and to be a prolific liar.

I have a new (I think) nickname for tRUMP... "Donny fishmouth". Think about all the pictures of him making that pursed round fishmouth-looking thing he does. He needs a name that is relevant and one that will stick.

And this... from Trump himself.

A direct, straight forward call to eschew peacefulness and be violent against fellow citizens.

From a former President of the United States.

Unfreaking believable.

Ms. Shaw, I do not understand where you get you figures. 30% of Americans would vote for trump. Even if you are correct that 30% of republicans would vote for trump that would be 30% of 50% or 15% of Americans would vote for him. I believe the figure is closer to 3% and that is still to high.

Using your math 100% of Americans would vote for joey b which is only 50%. This indictment is a fall back for democrats because they couldn't pin russia on him or much of anything else so at least they will get a misdemeanor showing that all the time and money is well spent. I know he was impeached twice but still remained in office so what good did it do. Now we can spend millions more on investigating joey b and drugson trying to show his whole family is on the take. Nothing will happen but it does give congress something to do since running the country for it's citizens is to heavy a lift.

tRumpturds always encourage and instigate violence everywhere they go. They incite murder and shootings at schools and anywhere else you go to. You know you're in for violence when you go to a baseball game, for example, and you see a tRumpturd carrying a bat in the stands. tRumpturds are the poster children for the destruction of not only America, but the whole world.

The news is rumbling with stories about how George Soros supposedly put Alvin Bragg into office.

I guess The Bogeyman's gonna getcha! LOL! LOL! LOL!

But on a serious note, Bragg should tread carefully with the tRump situation. Never underestimate what the enemy will try to pull off. It could be the downfall to a situation that is on the edge of going either way.

I just got this tonight:

Racist tRumpturds issued a death threat against Alvin Bragg. If uptheEndo sees this, he'll be wishing death on Alvin Bragg's immediate family and relatives and doxxing them on his hate blogs if he finds their addresses.

skud, as of 5 months ago, Pew Research posted this:

"Among all U.S. adults, 30% offer positive ratings of Trump, while nearly twice as many (58%) feel cool toward him; just 11% are neutral. These ratings are little changed in the past year. An overwhelming majority of Democrats and Democratic leaners continue to rate Trump negatively: 89% express cold views of him, identical to the share of Democrats who offered cold evaluations of Trump in July 2021."

It is still astounding to understand how many Americans support a psychopath like Trump.

America must NEVER let him near the levers of power again. He is facing numerous criminal indictments! CRIMINAL! And his besotted cultists are just fine with putting a potential criminal in the WH!

This is how third world countries operate. As for Trump's cultists, they're too far gone and irredeemable.

Everything is impermenant. And wisdom leans to never saying never.

Ms. Shaw, None of those statistics make any sense. Half the country are republicans and half are democrats. 89% of democrats are cold about him so that means 11% may support him. With those negative statistics he cannot have 30% favor for all Americans because he would need 80% support from republicans which he does not have. What is really sad is only 43% support joey b against a guy who was impeached and is facing federal indictment. Both sides need to do better and it is my opinion that trump cannot get the nomination.

skud "Half the country are republicans and half are democrats."

Not so.

Today, America is a multi-party system. The Democratic Party and the Republican Party are the most powerful. Yet other parties, such as the Reform, Libertarian, Socialist, Natural Law, Constitution, and Green Parties can promote candidates in a presidential election.

And that cancels out the idea that half the American voting public is Democrats and half Republicans.

Shaw Kenawe said...

Also, Independents do not align with any party and they make their choice of who they'll vote for on election days.

skudrunner said...

You are correct on the other parties but most are insignificant. Reform, Socialist, Green the majority of who vote democrat. Independent split and libertarian can't decide on which pants to wear so how can they decide which political party to vote for so they just throw their vote away and vote libertarian. If you look at the registered voters 46% register democrat and 24% republican so your 30% of Americans is false. The thinking voter, independent, have gained more voters than either major party and they are fairly split. If trump were to get the nomination I believe the majority of independents would hold their nose and vote for the democrat candidate and if it is DeSantis they will go with him.

Les Carpenter said...

Sounds like ya got it all figured out skud. We'll have to wait to see how it all plays out.

If DeStinkas wins the neo fascists nomination and goes on to win the presidency miiions will be holding their noses for 4 years.
