The White House has asked the United States military to draw up plans for how it might seize the Panama Canal “by force,” according to a bombshell report.

President Trump has been pushing for retaking the canal since December, and repeated his desire in a joint address to Congress last week, without any elaboration.
The rest of the Trump administration hasn’t attempted to explain what he means, either.

Let's add to the list. One of Trump's EOs was to reinterpret the plain words of the Constitution so as to eliminate birthright citizenship. Judges quickly struck his plan down noting the issue had already been litigated, his plan was unconstitutional and issued an injunction to stop implementation.
Now the Trump admin is petitioning to go ahead and ban birthright citizenship in a few states, while the case winds its way to the SCOTUS.

This is incredible because you and I and sane Americans believe in the rule of law. Trump does not. And neither do his lackeys. The only things standing between people who believe in democracy and those who do not -- Trumpers -- are the courts and the rule of law.
A Constitutional Crises will exist if the scotus upholds lower court decisions in this challenge (they likely won't) and the Felon of the USA defies the scotus ruling.

From a mayor of a small city, like south bend, to the president of the US they should all have an age limit. With age comes wisdom but also comes cognitive decline. Why do FBI agents, ATC controllers and pilots have to retire early but politicians do not.
With age and seniority comes power and they hate to give that up.

Dave, In order for it to happen the elected elite would have to vote themselves out of office and I agree its probably not gonna happen unless somehow it can get on the ballot in a general election. Term limits and age requirements are two things both sides of the isle agree that they are against.
Then why is there a move by republicans to try and change the constitution so a person can serve a third term as long as there is an interruption after the first term. A move to pave the way for the near octogenarian Felon of the USA to serve a third term after he steals the 2028 election.
Skud... I think term limits is a dead issue, never happen. But I think, if someone could light the fire, that we could get age limits, especially if we exempt the current critters serving.
