Right -man, like with Trump himself and Chainsaw man I believe nothing that comes from your MAGA mouth with respect to government or politics. Nor do I watch your usually foolish or boring vids. Stopped long ago.
Some wiser people opine- " n progressive societies the concentration[of wealth] may reach a point where the strength of number in the many poor rivals the strength of ability in the few rich; then the unstable equilibrium generates a critical situation, which history has diversely met by legislation redistributing wealth or by revolution distributing poverty." Will Durant :I see in the near future a crisis approaching that unnerves me and causes me to tremble for the safety of my country... corporations have been enthroned and an era of corruption in high places will follow, and the money power of the country will endeavor to prolong its reign by working upon the prejudices of the people until all wealth is aggregated in a few hands and the Republic is destroyed." Abe Lincoln " It can be used before it spoils (e.g., we don’t have huge stores of food that just rots). It leaves “good and enough” for everyone else (e.g., one person cannot own all the land in a country). The property must come from your own work and effort or what he calls “mixing your labor” with that thing (e.g., if you farm a field, the field and its produce become yours). If we were to follow these rules, it seems hard to envisage a world of greed and inequality. Everyone can have and get what they want, so long as enough is left for everyone else to get what they want, as well." John Locke Of course no leader that reads at the 3rd grade level has a clue.
I've come to understand that Trump has done very little reading of history, economics, diplomacy, or literature of any kind. IMO, he's the least cultured, knowledgeable, and intelligent of all the presidents we've ever had. And we are suffering the consequences.
So, you value individual freedoms while opposing a woman's right to choose? Why would that be the case? Possibly because only White men should have such rights (in your view)?
New Idaho law made teacher take down a post in front that read "All are Welcome'. She had to take it down. They have already sold 20,000 sweat shirts that read "All are Welcome". Orwell nods.
Government in and of itself is a tool, a set of rules agreed upon by the citizenry to ensure chaos does not rule the streets. Just because the tool is currently handled with the skill of a toddler or dog with a water hose.... We get the government we elect.
That said, I love the ideas this country was founded upon. The founding fathers, young men mostly, had just escaped the religious wars surrounding the Thomas Cromwell years. Puritans weren't persecuted per se but so despised for exactly what the NatC's are doing now, getting up in everyone's business and telling them they're doing church wrong.
When I love a person or thing I don't love just the possibility, I love them warts and all. Not fond of the warts to be honest and would love to eradicate them but honestly? They serve a purpose too. They are the gauge to determine the health of an organism.
So, do I like the cruelty, the sadism exhibited by those in power here/now? Nope, not at all. Do I like the fact that many of my fellow citizens would just as soon kill me as look at me for the crime of existing? Nope.
What I have to accept (doing so based on years of walking the path of Universal Love and Beauty Way) is that such things exist no matter how much we advance there will always exist those who's only purpose is to tear down what other have built. It's who they are. So Love demands I find a use for those sorts of folks. And in the country I love (it's the people, not the buildings) we are drop dead clever when given half a chance. If there is a use for a contrary group of folks who just want to kill everything, WeThePeople will find a use.
That's how I love my country, warts and all. And believe me when I say while not capable of doing much, in every way possible I advance the plan of death by a thousand paper cuts. No one harms my baby, no one.
Anon... is that the post where the Capitana spoke of Dems swearing and how bad it is without even acknowledging the epic work on that front by Trump and his minions?
Yup Dave, that's the one. Their wilfull blindness or monstrous hypocrisy is almost surreal.
Wilfull Ignorance and choosing to accept anything criminal and or unethical by their Fuhrer wannabe is what will ultimately bring this nation and its democratic republic to its knees.
A stranger and more unethical time in America has not been seen since the McCarthy era of republican malfeasance.

Mr. Lincoln was prescient!

How does one love a country when the leadership of the country hates them and wishes them in prison, or dead?
Please advise.

Abortion was legal whilst Brandeis was a Justice? Who knew...
Abortion is very legal in many States, Derv. Sp pass laws and quit-yer-b*tchin'.
Use the 9th and 10th Amendments!
...or better, PASS a CONSTITUTIONAL AMENDMENT legalizing abortion NATIONALLY!
