What Trump Billionaires Do For "Fun."

Trump defends his big-game hunting sons as they are shamed on Twitter for posing with their trophy kills - including a leopard and an elephant

"Donald Trump today leapt to the defense of his sons for hunting endangered wildlife in Africa. The Republican frontrunner was questioned about his sons Eric and Donald Jr after Mia Farrow tweeted a picture of them The property magnate made his remarks while giving a press conference at his Trump Turnberry golf resort in Ayrshire, Scotland, during the Women's British Open.

Trump spoke for a full 30 minutes, giving an insight into his future diplomacy skills. But when questioned about photographs of his sons with a dead leopard in relation to the killing of Cecil the lion, Trump simply said his 'sons love to hunt'.

[Trump] said: 'My sons love to hunt. They are members of the NRA, very proudly. I am a big believer in the Second Amendment. 'But my sons are hunters, Eric is a hunter and I would say he puts it on a par with golf, if not ahead of golf. 'My other son, Don, is a hunter. They're great marksman, great shots, they love it. 'I em, like golf. I don't do that.' But he could not be drawn into comment on the specific issue of shooting endangered animals.

The pictures of his sons surfaced three years ago and showed them taking part in a hunting trip to Zimbwawe - the same type of trip which resulted in the death this month of Cecil the lion."

They hunt for food, say the Trump brothers in the article.  I wonder how they cooked that beautiful leopard,  the waterbuck they paid $2,000 to kill, or the tail they sliced off the elephant they slaughtered.

Creep runs deep in the Trump family.

IN OTHER NEWS:

"MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!" says Trump, by importing thousands of foreign workers to take away jobs from Americans!

Donald Trump Empire Sought Visas For At Least 1,100 Foreign WorkersWhile touting his hardline on immigration on the campaign trail for the GOP presidential nomination, Trump's companies have been recruiting foreign workers.

"The analysis of Trump's history of actively importing foreign workers comes as he has emerged as an early front-runner in the race for the Republican nomination in the November 2016 presidential election. Trump has positioned himself as a champion of American workers whose livelihoods are threatened by illegal foreign laborers and the offshoring of U.S. jobs. “I will be the greatest jobs president that God every created," he said in announcing his candidacy on June 16.

TRUMP:

"I will bring back our jobs from China, Mexico and other places. I will bring back jobs and our money."

The cartoon at the top of your post explains why Trump is so popular with the Republican base. They love a guy who talks tough while making fools of them.

As we anxiously await the first debate (Trump Show) next week. I'll enjoy the show while drinking Stud Finder Double IPA from Iron Duke Brewing and eating pretzels.

BTW Shaw, as a one time trumpet player and jazz enthusiast your reference to The Donald as The Trumpet is an insult to Trumpets everywhere.

Hopefully when Trump finally jumps the shark, it'll take a good chunk out of him.

The Republican id strikes again. Donald Trump, the personification of every stupid, thoughtless, disgusting and ugly impulse that rules the GOP base. Crass, crude, classless, ignorant, arrogant, opinionated, a poor loser and an even poorer winner, Trump represents everything that is wrong in America and his followers are the reason this country has no business calling itself exceptional.

One can only hope that Donald Trump is the GOP nominee. Then the entire party [and FOX News] will have to either endorse him at the convention, or abandon him publicly...

Either way, with the Donald at the top of the ticket, a strong desire among many who are sick of politics as usual, the GOP may be finished for a generation.

Cranston, RI, Trumpster is popular with the TPers because they say he's got some good ideas. When asked by Dana Bash what he would replace Obamacare with should he become president, Trumpster answered "something terrific." So there's an example of a "good idea" Trump is putting out there for everyone to discuss.

RN, from now on he's the "Trumpster." No more insulting a trumpet.

Rusty O.F., that's a harsh assessment, but there's a lot of truth in it.

Dave, I really don't think Trumpster will get the nomination. We have to remind ourselves that only 20% of Republicans support him. That means 80% think he's a joke.

The Republican party is in relatively unchartered waters.
There is no way to control Trump. He is part of a feedback loop that is outside the control of the Republican party.

They more or less came to their senses in 2012 but the big money and the fringe media learned their lesson and are now in control. Don't know who the nominee will be but the RNC is going to be almost immaterial.
They have a tiger by the tail.

"One can only hope that Donald Trump is the GOP nominee."

The people who support him are stupid enough to make him the nominee.

You'd think rich idiots could find less brutal ways of propping up their insecure masculinity. I highly doubt they ate the leopard.
