TRUMP WON'T LET GO OF HIS LIE THAT 3 TO 5 MILLION ILLEGAL VOTES COST HIM THE POPULAR VOTE

Trump's still selling his gold-plated pile of swill, hoping more people will believe it:

He lost the popular vote because 3 to 5 million illegal aliens voted against him.

BLOTUS* offers not one shred of a scintilla of an iota of evidence to back up his claim. We just have to believe him. Trump is undermining and disrupting the very democracy he leads.

If he really believes this lie, then he needs to call for a full investigation right now because 3 to 5 MILLION FRAUDULENT VOTES is a MAJOR scandal and threat to our democracy and needs to be investigated immediately.  If trump does not act on his accusations and call for Congressional hearings, then we know he's just peddling more bullsh*t. And he's a disgrace to our country.

Keep this in mind whenever trump makes a claim about anything:

Graham blasts Trump after latest voter fraud claim

"Trump surprised the top Republicans and Democrats in Congress on Monday when, during a dinner at the White House, he repeated his claim that millions of undocumented immigrants voted for Hillary Clinton -- allegedly depriving him of the popular vote.

"I wasn't there, but if the President of the United States is claiming that 3.5 million people voted illegally, that shakes confidence in our democracy — he needs to disclose why he believes that," Graham told CNN on Tuesday."

Presidential historian, Douglas Brinkley:
Douglas Brinkley, a presidential historian, said yesterday Trump is “off to the worst start of a presidency in a very long time,” and it’s worth appreciating why.

The Republican, unaccustomed to public service, running a large organization, or weighty responsibilities, simply lacks the maturity he now needs. Much has been made in recent months about the dangers of putting an amateur in the Oval Office, but those concerns tend to focus on problems associated with Trump’s ignorance of public policy and public institutions.

There’s a related angle that goes overlooked: political amateurs are also unaccustomed to scrutiny, criticisms, and the pressures of the international spotlight. When the amateur lacks a mature temperament, the problem is that much more acute.

New York’s Jon Chait concluded yesterday, “Oliver Wendell Holmes famously summed up Franklin Roosevelt as a second-class intellect but a first-class temperament. Trump has a third-class intellect and a third-class temperament.

The frightening surreality of what has happened to the United States has only begun to sink in.”

The president is a 70-year-old child whose TV time must be closely monitored — because any news story that upsets his ego will trigger a temper tantrum followed by irrational demands that his indulgent, overwhelmed guardians will be helpless to refuse.

Or so Donald Trump’s aides keep confiding to the nearest available reporter.

On Sunday, one of the president’s confidantes told Politico that his staffers have to “control information that may infuriate him,” a task made difficult by the fact that the leader of the free world “gets bored and likes to watch TV.”

That same day, some Trump aides provided the New York Times with a portrait of the president as a moody adolescent.

Mr. Trump grew increasingly angry on Inauguration Day after reading a series of Twitter messages pointing out that the size of his inaugural crowd did not rival that of Mr. Obama’s in 2009. But he spent his Friday night in a whirlwind of celebration and affirmation. When he awoke on Saturday morning, after his first night in the Executive Mansion, the glow was gone, several people close to him said, and the new president was filled anew with a sense of injury.
“The lack of discipline troubled even senior members of Mr. Trump’s circle,” the paper wrote, “some of whom had urged him not to indulge his simmering resentment at what he saw as unfair news coverage.”

And then, on Monday night, Trump’s staffers whispered an even more vivid account of his rough weekend to the Washington Post.

President Trump had just returned to the White House on Saturday from his final inauguration event, a tranquil interfaith prayer service, when the flashes of anger began to build.

Trump turned on the television to see a jarring juxtaposition — massive demonstrations around the globe protesting his day-old presidency and footage of the sparser crowd at his inauguration, with large patches of white empty space on the Mall. As his press secretary, Sean Spicer, was still unpacking boxes in his spacious new West Wing office, Trump grew increasingly and visibly enraged…Over the objections of his aides and advisers — who urged him to focus on policy and the broader goals of his presidency — the new president issued a decree: He wanted a fiery public response, and he wanted it to come from his press secretary.

The Post’s story is chock-full of remarkable details. To list just a few:

1. After forcing Spicer to baldly lie to the White House press corps about the size of his inauguration crowd, the president fumed that his press secretary’s performance was “not forceful enough.” According to Axios, Trump was also incensed by Spicer’s poor taste in suits, and is already considering treating the former RNC staffer to his signature catchphrase.

2. Trump already “feels demoralized that the public’s perception of his presidency so far does not necessarily align with his own sense of accomplishment.”

3. Some Trump aides think Kellyanne Conway is trying to undermine Spicer so as to steal his job.

4. Jared Kushner tried to prevent Conway from being invited into the White House at all, because he viewed her “as a possible threat to his role as Trump’s chief consigliere.”

Ultimately, though, the most astounding sentence in the Post’s write-up might be the following:

This account of Trump’s tumultuous first days in office comes from interviews with nearly a dozen senior White House officials and other Trump advisers and confidants, some of whom spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe private conversations and moments.
Nearly a dozen of Trump’s closest confidantes helped plant an embarrassing news story about how their boss can’t handle embarrassing news stories. Which is to say: A president who prizes loyalty in his subordinates has already been betrayed by a huge swath of his inner circle.

It isn’t hard to understand why Trump’s aides would want to distance themselves from the mogul’s decision to begin his presidency by shouting self-aggrandizing delusions at CIA employees, congressional leaders, and the Fourth Estate. But we aren’t in the late days of a losing campaign, when it’s normal for advisers to start leaking dirt on the boss to save their reputations. We’re less than four full days into the Trump presidency, with (barring death, impeachment, resignation, or coup) at least 1,461 to go.

Trump calls for agency communication ban

Looks like most government communication is going to have to come through Scott "alternative facts" Spicer at Minitrue.
Some might say that this constitutes a restraint of the press and they should just shut up and take it.

This has to blow up in President Grabby's face.

oops, that's Sean "alternative facts" Spicer.

So the Little Progressive King is gone, God Save The Country... Lets call it like it is, or in this case, Like It Was. The Leftist, Liberal Media has ignored the Messiah’s bullshit and worse like his taxpayer-funded vacation to Cuba and Argentina both Socialist/Communist shitholes, cover up’s lies, has given us the biggest deficit in our history the ruination of our economy, and the list goes on... and the morons who elected this guy continue to think he’s the Messiah. Yet The Donald talks about a great America, and sticks up for America, and has never apologized for her, and yet the Liberals and the RINO vermin berate him.

President Golfer may have been born in the USA but a REAL American doesn’t run around denigrating his own nation. Has any other world leader run around yapping like a little poodle, pissing and moaning about his own country? I don’t think so.

There is no way to confirm the number of illegals who voted since most states do not require identification to vote but do to cash a check, drive, fly and attend a concert how do we know how many illegals voted. If I recall Detroit had more voters than citizens, why or how did that happen. What does that say for large populations that have a huge number of illegal's like California and NY.

This could all be eliminated if we required a picture ID to vote and no that does not discriminates against the poor because ID's are provided free in most states.

Duck, that is what a press secretary is for and no one saw xpbho give many press conferences unless a cop shot someone.

A perfect description of the new BLOTUS. He described our courntry as "American Carnage, and in his inaugural speech denigrated everything about America.

Speaking of "pissing," his Russian prostitutes will tell you that he's very adept at that, more so than at other things hired women expect from their clients.

You're a typical right wing troll who not only is laughingly misinformed and easily mocked but also devoid of any creative ability. You had to steal a name from one of my commenters to come here and make a fool of yourself. At that, you succeeded.

For the last time.

So Russian-backed President trump says 3 to 5 million illegals voted and that's why he lost the popular vote? It must be terrifying working in the west wing and watching a certifiable madman playing president. The Republican Party has delivered to the American people a man who is by any measure out of his fking mind. Does anyone believe that the attorney generals of the 30+ Republican held states knew about these millions of illegal voters and said nothing about it? It hasn't been a week yet and we have to watch the Madness of Comrade Trump in our American White House?

According to Tony Schwartz, the author of the Art of the Deal "Lying is second nature to him. More than anyone else I have ever met, Trump has the ability to convince himself that whatever he is saying at any given moment is true, or sort of true, or at least ought to be true".

It "ought to be true" that Trump won the popular vote. Therefore millions of illegals must have voted.

Psychoanalyst Justin Frank (author of "bush on the Couch", Obama on the Couch" and the upcoming "Trump on the Couch") says Trump "shouldn't be President [because] this is a person who hates reality".

And now he's been baited into saying he will launch a major investigation.

I wonder if we will ever see the results that will call him a complete liar, just like his birther investigation.

I'd hate to have Spicer's job today. Now he's gonna have to explain how this investigation will work.

Thank you Mara Liasson of NPR for your questions that pushed Trump into his investigative corner...

He does need to stop the food fight and concentrate on the job he was elected to perform. So far he has come out of the gate running and doing many of the things he said he would do. His massive ego is bruised but how do you investigate an event that is behind us. Maybe he could just ask for those who voted illegally to report to the closest police station and confess.

The issue of illegal voters has been going on as long as there has been elections. Chicago vote early vote often policy, NYC joe the dead guy voted twice. I am not convinced that Mexican illegals vote in great numbers because they have too much to lose but illegal voting is probably not a small number. Of course the way to curtail illegal voting is to require a picture ID but the crowd that says there is no illegal voting don't want that.

Shaw Kenawe said...

skud, at least I can produce evidence of recent Republican voter fraud. Besides repeating rumors about Chicago and New York in this past election, where's yours?

A Republican woman in Iowa has been arrested on suspicion that she voted twice in the general election, according to a new report.

Terri Lynn Rote, 55, was arrested and charged with first-degree election misconduct, The Des Moines Register reported.

Rote allegedly voted early at an election office in Des Moines and then cast another ballot at a satellite voting location, according to police.

The woman is one of three people suspected of voter fraud in the county, according to the newspaper. Two others allegedly voted in person and also sent mail-in ballots, though Rote is the only one who has been arrested as of Friday morning.

Police are investigating the case.

The Blaze noted Friday that the woman was an early supporter of GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

From the 2012 presidential election:

Pennsylvania resident Colin Small was arrested Thursday after he was caught illegally destroying voter registration forms in Virginia. Smalls worked for a firm hired by the Republican Party of Virginia to register voters, but was spotted throwing away 8 voter registration forms in a dumpster on Monday, the deadline for registering to vote in Virginia.

The 31-year-old man was charged with four counts of destruction of voter registration applications, eight counts of failing to disclose voter registration applications and one count of obstruction of justice. Small was spotted by the owner of a store in Harrisonburg, Virginia, who became suspicious when he saw Small’s Pennsylvania license plate.
The Los Angeles Times has the details of the discarded forms:

Three of the voters turned out to be already registered, according to Donald Palmer, secretary of the Virginia State Board of Elections. The other five were not registered, and have since been added to the voter roll. Registration closed on Monday.
In Virginia, and other states, it’s a crime to accept a voter registration form and not turn it in. Small is charged with destroying voter registration applications and obstruction of justice…

More from 2012:

A few weeks earlier, the GOP had been under fire following reports of suspicious registration applications that had been submitted in 10 Florida counties by a company run by Nathan Sproul, a Republican operative who has long been trailed by allegations of voter fraud. The Republican Party paid Sproul’s company, Strategic Allied Consulting, about $3 million this year for registration drives in five swing states: Colorado, Florida, North Carolina, Nevada, and Virginia.

In Palm Beach County, Fla., alone, about 100 questionable voter registrations were flagged, more than half of which involved changing a voter’s party affiliation to Republican or independent. Discrepancies were also found in North Carolina.

And a viral video uploaded to YouTube in late September showed a young woman who worked for Strategic Allied Consulting registering voters in Colorado and admitting that she was only looking for Republicans. “Well, I’m actually trying to register people for a particular party. Because we’re out here in support of Romney, actually,” the woman said.

And then there's Comrade Trump's own lawyers reporting there was no voter fraud:

President Donald Trump on Wednesday called for a “major investigation” into voter fraud. While his tweets announcing the call focus on the possibility of double voting and voter registration fraud, the main claim of fraud Trump has made over the past few months is that 3 million to 5 million illegal voters cast ballots in the election, which is his explanation for Hillary Clinton’s popular vote victory.

The claim that there were millions of illegal voters in this past election is false and unsupported by any credible evidence.

The National Association of Secretaries of State, made up of the chief election officers of all 50 states, just issued a statement saying so. (Here is an explanation of Trump’s apparent justification for making the claim.) Trump’s own lawyers told a court in connection with Jill Stein’s request for a Michigan recount that “all available evidence suggests that the 2016 general election was not tainted by fraud or mistake.”

Get that?

"Trump's own lawyers told A COURT in connection with Jill Stein's reques for a Micigan recount tha "all available evidence suggests THAT THE 2016 GENERAL ELECTION WAS NOT TAINTED BY FAUD OR MISTAKE."

So what is Comrade Trump doing?
