General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."
But of course they are. To Trump, either way, the Syrian people aren't really people -- they're just props to be wielded in support of whatever pose he happens to be striking at the moment.
I'm not even planning to write a post about the missile strike in Syria. I'm too nauseated by how that already long-suffering country now has to bear the additional burden of being used as a stage for Trump's narcissistic exhibitionism.
