Between unsure and yes, that's 60%.

No matter what the Mueller report says, knowing what we know from public statements, I don't know how anyone can claim Trump is an innocent, honest president.

I think your friend Dave is correct, Trump will win the 2020 election. Especially as we watch the Democrats chew each other up during the primaries. It reminds me of the 15 Republicans running for president and out of that mess Trump became their nominee. Unity is the only way Democrats can win and I don't see unity in the Democratic party, yet.

Mueller had a fairly narrow mission. too probe collusion with Russia. I always thought it would be tough nabbing him on that but the obstruction charge is more likely and indeed we really won't know the situation until the report is released.

Meanwhile, the mothership has declared it over and moved on to lobbying for Betsy DeVos's defunding special olympics. The 30% is incorrigible.

A very good point Jerry. Unity may be the only way to win. But democrats who extol diversity have a broad and diverse membership with differing views and agendas. Besides, it's a lot more fun being an individual rather than a choir member.

Yes Ducky. And unless tRump is primaried in 2020 he will win reelection as Dave Miller has oft stated. One thing about republicans, they stick together. Right OR wrong.

The investigation was about Russian collusion and the report says there was none. No one can expect the democrats to put faith in the report because it didn't say what they wanted it to say. How many illegals could have been supported on the money this investigation costs. Better yet how many people without healthcare could have been subsidized with the money.

The same can be said about the -H- lack of testimony about her incompetence in protecting American citizens or OTG playing in the sand. Those things were dropped from the media while what djt had for breakfast will remain front page news.

WASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump is taking his interpretation of special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation well beyond the facts. He says he’s been fully exonerated based on a four-page summary of Mueller’s nearly 400-page report and is casting himself as a victim of illegal practices by the FBI because the agency investigated him in the first place.

But Trump is overstating his case.

The FBI has legal grounds to open a probe if investigators have information they believe could lead them to a crime, even if one is not ultimately found. And the summary released by Attorney General William Barr says Mueller did not reach a conclusion about whether Trump obstructed justice.

Nor was the Russia probe hatched by Democrats, as Trump asserts. He often cites a so-called dossier funded by the Democratic Party, but the probe’s origins in fact were based on other evidence.

Trump’s claims came in a week of plentiful exaggerations and misstatements, seen most prominently in a speech to Michigan supporters in which he sought credit for all manner of things, including money to clean up the Great Lakes.

The Great Lakes Restoration Initiative actually was already getting that money ; Trump had proposed slashing it.

TO SKUDRUNNER:

It may not matter to you that the POTUS is a liar, a cheat, and a fraud who insults and embarrasses America and her values every day of his miserable presidency. But it does matter to a majority of Americans WHO DO NOT BELIEVE THE MUELLER REPORT CLEARED TRUMP. AND IT DIDN'T.

What you fail to acknowledge in you comment is the fact that the Mueller Report specifically stated it DID NOT EXONERATE TRUMP FROM WRONG DOING.

Every day we are subjected to some new scandal, the security lapses is just the newest. The lies continue -- Trump said he had a health plan, but that is a lie. Neither he nor the GOP have a replacement health plan for the millions of Americans he'll leave without health care when he completely destroys the ACA.

Facts are stubborn things: A majority of Americans do not believe the Mueller Report completely cleared Trump of wrongdoing, and a majority of Americans still think he sucks and is a colossal embarrassment to this country.

Ms Shaw, I think you were thinking of -H- when you started you response. Trump is many things but not a she.
I stated the report said there is no collusion with Russia which was the original purpose of the investigation. The democrats will not give up and will investigate trump on something else just to keep it going. He is pond scum which most people acknowledge but he is the POTUS and the office deserves respect.

I agree that the republicans have no plan for covering people without healthcare. We had medicaid but obamacare weakened it and obamacare is a terrible plan, that is why only 9 out of 30 million signed up.

Medicare for all is the democrat plan which means good healthcare for none.

skudrunner: "He [Trump] is pond scum which most people acknowledge but he is the POTUS and the office deserves respect."

When Trump starts respecting the Office of the Presidency, then maybe I may consider doing so as well. But since Trump is organicly incapable of any decent human behavior, that won't happen, therefore, I will not show respect for him. He has dirtied, cheapened, and devalued the office he holds. It'll take years and years to clean out the stench he'll leave behind.

You have made an overly simplified explanation of the collusion charge. We have to wait and see what the Mueller Report says. That is if Trump's lackey AG releases it as he is supposed to. Eventually, we'll get the truth. And that truth will show that Trump is basically a mobster, out to enrich himself and his slimey offspring.

As I said, it'll take years and years to rid the WH and the Oval Office of his stench of criminality and piggish morality. Years and years.
