Domestic Terrorism

UPDATE:

Suspect ID'd as Dylann Storm Roof

A survivor told police the killer said:  "You rape our women and you're taking over our country - and you have to go."

Just the other day, didn't we hear Donald Trump, now a candidate for the U.S. presidency, say the same thing about Mexicans?

"They're sending people that have lots of problems, and they're bringing those problems with us. They're bringing drugs. They're bringing crime. They're rapists." --Donald Trump

Interesting that this deranged murderer and a GOP presidential candidate use the same racist language to dehumanize a group of people.

The paranoid claim that African-Americans are "taking over 'our' country" can be read on a certain Daddy blog.  Roof believed that claim enough to commit an unspeakable atrocity.  The Daddy blog supports the claim by leaving it, in all its supperating filth, for malignant minds to believe and approve.

Trump and Roof:  What do they have in common?  Slandering entire groups of people.  Roof acted on his deranged thinking.  Trump wants to be POTUS.

Charleston Church Shooting: White Gunman Kills 9 At Historic Black Church

"6 women and 3 men were killed. None of the victims has yet been named by police, but State House Minority leader Todd Rutherford told the Associated Press that the church's pastor, state Sen. Clementa Pinckney, was among the dead."

The killer who murdered 9 people is still at large.

"Police described the gunman as a white male, 21 to 25 years old, 5 foot 9 inches tall and a slender build. He's clean shaven with sandy blond hair that is shaped in a bowl cut, and was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt, blue jeans and Timberland boots."

A scan of the usual extremist TeaPublican blogs shows no coverage of this massacre.

Had the killer been identified as a Middle Eastern man, their howler monkeys would be hooting about jihadist Islam!  Muslims!  Sharia Law! on every one of their blogs.

Today?  *crickets*

Oh the hypocrisy!  Oh the humanity!  Domestic terrorist kills worshipers in Bible study class?

Move along; nothing to see here.

"You rape our women." --Roof So he killed more women than men? Where did he learn this kind of hate? One place where it exists is at that blog you linked to that left a comment that said this:

"We are ruled by blacks…they have the control now, and they know it. When slavery was an issue, and blacks were persecuted, many whites stood up for them. Whites fought for the rights of blacks, and approximately 700,000 Americans died in the defense of blacks and in ending slavery.

Its very easy to put a spot light on today’s violent culture in black communities all around the country. Its been going on this way since I can remember and don't seem to let up any time soon, black on black crime is at historic levels and we can blame what ever you want on who, the facts are the facts and there's no disputing it......
From the time black people set foot on American soil, white folks have murdered, raped, beaten and victimized by blacks. . If we were to do an accounting of who's been and still is the most violent in this country....Blacks would win hands down.
And yet Blacks get preference in colleges and employment. They have equal rights and more than equal opportunities."

That sounds like Roof's mentality. And that stuff is found on a blog with many more racist comments and links to racist photos. They are PROUD of their racism and spreading racial hatred and at the same time promote Ben Carson and Alan West? Schizoid nuts.

Fox Noise is promoting this massacre as an attack on Christians. The killer said "you rape our women and you're taking over the country --and you have to go." That's what Christian haters say to people before they kill them? Christians rape women? Fox Noise doing the usual: spreading lies and misinformation. This was a hate crime. The killers words prove it.

Clementa Pinckney was a strong leader. This was no random crime.

I was listening to NPR's Here and Now with Robin Young. This young state senator was a friend of the president. The radio program played a speech by Pinckney on the floor of the South Carolina Senate in which he compared the disbelief shared by his fellow Carolinians over the shocking gunning down of Walter Scott by a police officer with the story of Doubting Thomas in the bible.

He was no bit player in the struggle for civil rights.

The history of the church itself is extremely powerful.

What will come out of this is a call for open carry in churches.
Hatred and copious firearms is a pretty lethal mix.

It isn't unreasonable to point to the contemporary fringe right and Faux News as the
major source of both. It's unlikely they will take a good look at what they are creating.

What sickens me is that some commentators are trying to deflect attention from the fact that this was a racist hate crime. It was not an attack on "religious liberty", not an example of abortion mentality -- it was a racist hate crime.

A.R.o.T.P.B.,

Really? What a bunch of mentally confused children they are. So sad.

Titan, leave it to FAUX NOOZ to twist the truth to conform to their lies. An attack on the Christian faith? Really? Because Roof sees Christians as rapists? Only low-information yahoos watch that crap.

Flying Junior, what a horrible loss for their community. And we've become desensitized to this sort of slaughter.

Ducky, the most dangerous states for gun deaths are in the South. More of these tragedies will happen, and FAUX NOOZ will continue to misrepresent them.

Ahab, the major and the governor have labeled this a hate crime. Roof said "You rape our women and you're taking over our country - and you have to go." How many anti-Christians call Christians out for raping women? Or taking over our country? Anyone calling this a crime against Christians is a fool.

What sort of a family did this white thug grow up in?

"Ben Carson acknowledged the apparent racial motives behind the attack, he proceeded to shift the focus away from race specifically and more towards a general hatred of difference he sees “growing in our great nation.”

“I fear our intolerance of one another is the new battle ground of evil. Today many feel it is ok to hate someone who thinks differently than you do,” he continued. “The left hates the right. The right hates the left. This attitude is poison. Poison that will sicken all of us.”

As an example, Carson said, “Just because someone is for Obamacare and another is against doesn’t change the fact we are all brothers and sisters.” Yet it is important to remember that this is from a man who once called Obamacare “the worst thing that has happened in this nation since slavery.”

Obamacare worse than 9/11? Worse than WWI and WWII? Worse than Pearl Harbor? Carson contributes to the "poison that will sicken all of us" with his stupid statements on Obamacare.
