Arizona's Real Election Fraud

Arizona’s top prosecutor concealed records debunking election fraud claims

More Republican dishonesty in investigating the 2020 election in Arizona.

Are there ANY honest Republicans?

That unfortunate woman, Kari Lake, mewling and puling about a stolen election -- an election she soundly lost -- is quiet about real GOP election fraud:

PHOENIX — Nearly a year after the 2020 election, Arizona’s then-attorney general, Mark Brnovich, launched an investigation into voting in the state’s largest county that quickly consumed more than 10,000 hours of his staff’s time.

Investigators prepared a report in March 2022 stating that virtually all claims of error and malfeasance were unfounded, according to internal documents reviewed by The Washington Post. Brnovich, a Republican, kept it private. In April, the attorney general — who was running in the GOP primary for a U.S. Senate seat — released an “Interim Report” claiming that his office had discovered “serious vulnerabilities.”

He left out edits from his own investigators refuting his assertions.

His office then compiled an “Election Review Summary” in September that systematically refuted accusations of widespread fraud and made clear that none of the complaining parties — from state lawmakers to self-styled “election integrity” groups — had presented any evidence to support their claims.

Brnovich left office last month without releasing the summary.

This just shows how bad our country is in appointing candidates to run for public office. Lake should have been the last choice for governor. She was a TV news reader who was very good with talking and lost to a political professional who refused to debate or take questions. Unlike a bartender running for the house, governors have to do something not just yell on camera. Both sides need to up their game an try to not have another lake, aoc or fetterman as their candidate.

skud "Unlike a bartender running for the house,"

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) attended Boston University, where she double-majored in international relations and economics, graduating cum laude.

vs.

Lauren Boebert, who got her GED (after failing it at least 3 times) just before running for her Congressional seat. Now there's absolutely nothing shameful about getting a GED, and it is a fact that there is no educational requirements to qualify a candidate for a US Representative. After leaving high school, Boebert took a job at a McDonald's in Rifle, Colorado.

For some reason, known only to our friend, skud, he mocks AOC's employment before becoming a member of Congress, but has never mentioned Boebert's background.

It's as though he finds AOC's educational achievements irrelevant but her employment as a bartender very important (at the time, she was the youngest US Rep. to ever serve), even though her young age did not allow her to have a comprehensive CV. Perhaps she was working to pay off her college tuition, something Ms. Boebert did not have to do? Who knows.

We do know that one of skudrunner's endearing habits is to always find the speck in any Democrat's eye while ignoring the logs in his fellow Republican's.

I still haven't been able to figure out why.

Oh and I though this was about the selection of horrible candidates trying to get a job running a State not just some political hack put in office by a group trying to unseat a non cooperative representative.

Skud you ignored the AZ AG squashing a report performed at his request that didn’t prove what he wanted it to prove to yell at AOC???

(Adding up points…. Let me see…)

Red herring - 10
Goal post movement (extra points for simultaneously performing three logical fallacies at the same time) - 25
What aboutism - 12
Adding a topic and then whining because said topic was brought up -priceless

Well done skud. Top marks!

Not these days.

I've grown to enjoy skud's inane comments. In a sort of comedic way. Except there is nothing comical really about skud's both sides are the same BULLSH*T.

There is no equivalency whatsoever between MAGAt republicans and democrats. Anyone with a reasonable grasp of facts, who is honest with themselves knows skud's full of caca.

But like so many others of the con red team admitting the truth is simply a bridge to far for them. I suppose we should feel sorry for their failure to recognize reality when they see it. I was skud once politically, and i'm damn glad the light finally came on for me.

Speaking of Boebert, here's a Tweet from her today:

This is your daily reminder that America is a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy.

Not smart enough to know that a constitutional republic IS a democracy.

The Constitution establishes a federal democratic republic form of government. That is, we have an indivisible union of 50 sovereign States. It is a democracy because people govern themselves. It is representative because people choose elected officials by free and secret ballot.

I'm pretty sure the former "bartender" would absolutely know this.

skudrunner said...

Ms. Shaw, 90% of Americans don't know the answer to that question. I'm sure the bartender knows it because she is an accomplished congress person. I enjoy listening to her rants because they provide humor in their absurdity.

Leslie, Agreed the trumpers are a excited group who supports an egotistical narcissist but that is their choice. Saying all republicans support him is like saying all democrats support the squad's demand to defund the police. Using your illogical logic, all democrats are in favor of homelessness and violence in large cities, sex trafficking and illegal drugs killing thousands. See how silly that is.

skud, so you believe 90% of Americans are as unknowledgable of our nation's governing structure as tRump was when elected and remains so today.

Are you pat of that 90%?

If you're right this country is ripe for the pickings by any athoritarian party (gop) and another ignorant goon like tRump.
