General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

FUN FACT: While the Republican party is imploding on itself and groping people in public, young voters under 30 support President Biden over Donald trump by a whopping 65 PERCENT, according to a new CBS News poll.

AND THIS TRASH FROM TRUMP at the beginning of Rosh Hashanah :

"Donald Trump decided to take time during Rosh Hashanah — the start of the Jewish High Holy days and the celebration of the New Year — to blame “liberal Jews” for voting to destroy America and Israel.

“Just a quick reminder for liberal Jews who voted to destroy America & Israel because you believed in false narratives!,” he wrote on Truth Social on Sunday, presumably referring to the American Jewish support for Joe Biden in the 2020 election.

“Let’s hope you learned from your mistake & make better choices moving forward!”

Hitler would be so proud of him!

It must be a bitch being tRump living in the delusions and obscurations of his dimminished mind.

A breath taking few days. Add in the former president saying he didn't listen to his lawyers and made his own choices as it related to the aftermath of the 2020 election, that he trusted his evidence free gut, and here we are.

A political party that eschews real evidence, mocks Jewish people on one of their major holidays and has no calls to resign for a vaping federal representative giving a dry hand job while getting fondled by a boyfriend at a public theater performance.

Who then lies about it.

Yessir... family values and the party of character.

Know the difference between a "fact" and an "opinion"? Yours today is merely a fact about opinions (which is why the poll numbers change with each new poll over time and sample demographic).

ps - It sounds like Trump recognized this distinction in his blowing a shofar in admonition to Jews reflecting upon the past year during Rosh Hashana. Smart man.

Can we expect anything less from tRUMP?

Polls are a slice of the electorate on a specific day.

Nothing more.

But they are useful for seeing where some Americans stand on an issue.

But, as it relates to factual info, Trump did slam left leaning Jewish ppl, on a big holiday. Par for the course for someone as coarse as he is...

And one reason, IMHO, why so many ppl despise him and part of why he lost the 2020 election.

Slam Jewish people? pShaw didn't show you ALL I said... it was too much to the point of Trump's admonitions.

But such is the "news" one get's in CENSORLAND. :(

Who would be surprised if -FJ agrees with Trump that, "Hitler did some good things"?

Les Carpenter said...

I sure wouldn't. As that's the direction the con/republicon movement is enamored of.

The autobahn was evil? Volkswagon's were evil? Who knew? Hitler was, indeed, evil. But ultimately, he was merely a leading cog in a systemically evil machine we all know as "Nazism." And as the trial of Eichmann in Jerusalem proved, most of the supposedly evil bureaucrats and judges were merely banal figures who "went along to get along" like Atticus Finch in Harper Lee's, "Go Set a Watchman". Was Atticus Finch "evil"? Judging from the popularity and reception of him in "To Kill a Mockingbird", you wouldn't think so.

Which is why all of Democrats "cancellation" of individuals is so self-defeating. Cuz in doing so, they're making sure that everyone must "go along to get along."

Notes for -FJ:

The Autobahn was NOT Hitler’s idea:

Plans for the autobahn date to the 1920's. Construction of the first segment (Cologne-Bonn) began in 1929 and was dedicated by Mayor Konrad Adenauer of Cologne on August 6, 1932. When Adolph Hitler assumed power as Chancellor of the Third Reich in 1933, he took the program over, claiming it for his own.

Volkswagen was dumped by Hitler before the war. The Allies were responsible for making it become what we know:

Soon after the KdF (Kraft-durch-Freude)-Wagen (“Strength-Through-Joy” car) was displayed for the first time at the Berlin Motor Show in 1939, World War II began, and Volkswagen halted production. After the war ended, with the factory in ruins, the Allies would make Volkswagen the focus of their attempts to resuscitate the German auto industry.

Can he say, “Trump is evil”? Why not? Trump, is an enemy of democracy. So was Hitler.

What are the tenets of the evil machine known as Nazism?

Let’s compare that to Trumpism.

Hitler and Trump gained support of white nationalists by demonizing and scapegoating minorities.

They loved rallies and stirred anger and hate for their opposition. Nazis attacked journalism as “Lügenpresse”, or lying press, while Trump howled “fake news” when they denied the truth and pushed lies.

Hitler and Trump would accuse anyone standing in his way of being a communist or Marxist, Jews in Hitler’s case, and Democrats, Black prosecutors and judges in Trump’s.

Hitler and Trump each incited a violent political insurrection to seize power. Hitler's Putsch was in 1923 and Trump's Putsch was January 2021.

More?

Demonizing Jews?
Trump:
“Just a quick reminder for liberal Jews who voted to destroy America & Israel because you believed in false narratives! Let’s hope you learned from your mistake & make better choices moving forward! Happy New Year!”
(A June poll by found that US Jews overwhelming back Biden for reelection rather than Trump in a 2024 US presidential election matchup.)
Hitler:
See “Mein Kampf” and speeches.

Scapegoating minorities?
Trump:
Mexicans and Muslims, and educators were demonized and made targets for hate groups.
Hitler:
Jews again. Plus Gypsies, educators, Slavs, and “non-Aryans”.

Called for imprisonment of political opponents:
Trump:
“Lock her up.”
Hitler:
See Buchenwald and Auschwitz.

White nationalism?
Trump:
Welcomed white nationalist Nick Fuentes to the White House. Called the Unite the Right neo-Nazis and white nationalists “very fine people” after one of them killed and injured others. Ordered Proud Boys to “stand down and stand by”.
Hiter:
See “Aryans” and “Master Race”.

Violent Putsch to seize power:
Trump:
January 6, 2021. He sent a mob to overturn the election and allowed them to terrorize Congress and beat cops for HOURS.
Hitler:
1923 “Beer Hall Putsch”. He served time but was released.

Pandered to gullible white Christians:
After gassing peaceful protesters, Trump held a Bible upside down for a photo-op. Trump claimed the Bible was his “favorite book”.
“The National Government...regards Christianity as the foundation of our national morality, and the family as the basis of national life." - Adolf Hitler "My New Order" - Proclamation to the German Nation, Berlin, February 1, 1933

Exploited and encouraged ignorance:
Trump said, "I love the poorly educated".
Hitler said, “What good fortune for those in power that people do not think.”

Denied women their reproductive freedom:
Trump:
Stacked the Supreme Court with Catholic theocrats.
Hitler:
On October 10, 1936 Heinrich Himmler created the Reich Central Office for Combating Homosexuality and Abortion, or Special Office (II S), a sub-department of Executive Department II of the Gestapo.

Yes, but Trump did some good things, amirite?

I suppose that’s true for someone who agrees so much with Hitler.

Thank you for that, Dave Dubya. But I'm afraid it will not move -FJ/JoeCon one inch.

His way of dealing with facts is to saturate blog comment sections with comparisons from decades ago, as if, where we politically find ourselves now, in the Age of Trump, has any comparison to the past.

For example, -FJ made a comparison with Clinton's BJ and Boebert's lewd and lascivious public conduct in the comment moderation, but I chose not to publish it.

He'll throw any sort of merda at the comment section to divert and deflect from the current discussions to see if it sticks and changes the subject.

Also. IMO, -FJ is the very definition of a cynic: "Someone who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing."

Dave Dubya said...

Shaw,
Among other traits, agreeing with Trump would indicate -FJ has an authoritarian personality. We can bet he has a similarly narcisstic personality along with it.

Look at how he equates accusing Jews of "voting to destroy the country" to an "admonition to Jews".

Merriam-Webster: ADMONITION is gentle or friendly reproof.

Herr Goebbels and Nick Fuentes would be proud of that "Jew", or whatever he is. Same with "Unite the Right" Rally organizer Richard Spencer: “Martin Luther King Jr., a fraud and degenerate in his life, has become the symbol and cynosure of White Dispossession and the deconstruction of Occidental civilization. We must overcome!”

Maybe this guy would find -FJ useful as well:

“I don’t understand why they’re trying to pretend that disproportionate Jewish influence is a conspiracy … they have this enormous wealth and they’re using it to wield power.”
Jason Kessler: Unite the Right, July 17, 2017.

That's his team. They are ALL on the same side against our democracy and ideals.

He’s not attacking “liberals,” he’s not attacking “liberal Jews,” he’s spreading antisemitic stereotypes that all Jews are radical & not loyal to America. As a proud, patriotic American-Jewish-woman, I will not stop expecting everyone, Jewish or not, Dem or Republican, liberal or conservative to call this what it is: blatant and dangerous antisemitism. And I cannot believe this needs to be said in America today.
