INSANE!

Trump accepts key endorsement from police union while celebrating sentencing delay on felony charges

The NFOP makes itself a laughing stock in front of the country and the world by endorsing a convicted felon, an adjudicated sexual assaulter/rapist, a tax fraudster, and criminal who is facing dozens more felony indictments.

This is what happens to people when they lose their minds.

The National Fraternal Order of Police is a gigantic joke! They've disgraced themselves by endorsing a man whose armed mobs beat, injured, and even caused the deaths of their fellow LEOs.

The bad apples have taken over this union, and the stench of their endorsement of the convicted criminal, Trump, will be with them for years.

Police supporting a criminal for POTUS. It doesn't get any crazier in the Age of Trumpism.

The FOP should have been asked if they support pardons for the people who beat Capitol Officers on Jan 6. Make them say publicly, in front of their membership and DJT that they are okay with the J6 criminals getting pardons, or whether they believe those guys should remain in jail.

More than 130 officers suffered serious injuries that day. Do conservatives even care about that? It seems not.

It looks like they made a decision to go with performance instead of feelings. Trump is a jerk but you know where he stands. Millions don't like him and will cast their vote for the feel good liar even though they have no idea what her positions are.
There is not a candidate in the race who has widespread support but there are two who people will vote against.

Maybe the Democrats shouldn't have gone "all in" on their "Defund the Police" messaging... the chickens have come home to roost, it would seem.

They endorsed him in 2016 and 2020 as well. That will no swing any responsible police officer. Trump is too old (as well as thousands of other
reasons) to be president.

According to you, skud, Trump is a "jerk." That's it? You skip over the horrible fact that he's a documented liar -- 30,000 -- just in his first term. Also, he's a convicted felon, an adjudicated sexual assaulter/rapist, a tax fraudster, and facing dozens more FELONY indictments!

And you call VP Harris a "liar?" Which is worse than being just a "jerk."

Okay. You've made it very clear what your values are.

When the NFOP endorsed him in 2016 and 2020, they weren't endorsing a convicted felon, rapist, tax fraudster, and guy who sent a mob to the Capitol to beat up their fellow officers.

They know Trump was behind J6, and yet they chose the criminal over the prosecutor.

IMO, they brought dishonor to the badges they wear.

So the NFOP endorse a convicted felon, rapist, tax fraudster with more felony indictments against him over the prosecutor -- the law enforcer! And all because some lefties called for defunding the police?

You just made them look more foolish and anti-law enforcement than they've already done to themselves.

They support the criminal - the guy who pledged to pardon cop beaters and killers -- over the prosecutor?

You DO understand how stupid and self-defeating that is, because normal people now see the NFOC as anti-law enforcement cowards!

I think it's a good thing that the sentencing has been put off. Putting him in jail now would just rally the MAGAts even more.

Joe, please name at least two Democrats running for national office in the last 4 years who have campaigned on "Defund the Police". In addition to names, a link (you're good at links) to their campaign websites where they advocate "Defund the Police". Good luck.

Craig, JoeCon likes to tell half-truths, and in this case 1/8th truths, or even 1/16th truths. He's dishonest. He left a comment comparing Tim Walz to George Santos. JoeCon is an unreliable poster, half of his mis-directions and propaganda do not get published.

Walz may have padded his CV a bit; Santos is a convicted felon. No comparison. One would have to be a dishonest hack to even suggest that.

Former Congressman George Santos Pleads Guilty to Wire Fraud and Aggravated Identity Theft

Santos Admits He Filed Fraudulent FEC Reports, Embezzled Funds from Campaign Donors, Charged Credit Cards Without Authorization, Stole Identities, Obtained Unemployment Benefits Through Fraud, and Lied in Report to the House of Representatives

On JoeCon's dishonest claim that the corrupt NFOP's endorsement of the felon, Trump, is payback for Democrats' call to defund the police:

Does the 'left' want to defund the police?
CLAIM
Top Congressional Republicans attacked the Democrats on police funding.

House Minority Whip Steve Scalise said "The left wants to defund the police."

CONCLUSION
While some Democrats have joined calls for a radical shift in police policy, including a reduction in police budgets, top congressional Democrats and Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden have not supported calls to "defund the police."

EVIDENCE
Biden's published criminal justice plan called for a $300 million investment in community policing efforts -- including the hiring of more officers.

On June 8, Biden told CBS, "No, I don't support defunding the police," Rather, he said, "I support conditioning federal aid to police based on whether or not they meet certain basic standards of decency and honorableness. And, in fact, are able to demonstrate they can protect the community and everybody in the community."

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer, a Democrat of Maryland, told CNN, "Defunding police departments are not the answer." House Majority Whip Jim Clyburn, Rhode Island Rep. David Cicilline and Karen Bass have also spoken out about the phrase, CNN reported in June.

It's worth noting that the slogan "defund the police" means different things to different activists -- from the dissolution of police forces to partial reductions in funding.

Trump's campaign has seized on a single comment Biden made to a progressive activist in a July video chat. In that conversation, Biden repeated his opposition to defunding police. When pressed, he did say he "absolutely" agrees that some funding can be redirected to social services, mental health counseling and affordable housing, but he immediately transitioned to his previous proposal to deny federal funding to specific police departments that do not meet certain standards. Biden said in early June that decisions about funding levels should be made by local communities, since some have too many officers but some don't have enough.

Nobody wants a police state more than a criminal leader and his corrupt thugs in law enforcement.
The reliably authoritarian Joe Con seems to agree with them.
Why do they hate America?

Shaw Kenawe said...

So Tim Walz believe kids should be fed at school so they can learn better and JD Vance believes kids should accept being shot at school as a "fact of life."
Vote accordingly.

Many of these so called orders or chambers of commerce are simply fronts for republicans. One has to admire the loyalty and obedience they display no matter what their endorsed republican has ever stood for or done.
