Misogyny is the hatred of, contempt for, or prejudice against women or girls.
It can also refer to social systems or environments where women face hostility and hatred because they're women in a world created by and for men — a historical patriarchy.
This is your brain on Trumpism: It scrambles your frontal lobes to the point where you become a self-hating female because your preferred presidential candidate catastrophically lost a debate to a smart, prepared, articulate, confident woman.
Nothing can soothe the injured egos of women who have conflated their well-being and self-worth with a serial adulterer, adjudicated sexual assaulter/rapist, convicted felon, and all around misogynistic narcissist who cheated on all three wives, (and even cheated on his mistress for a one-night stand with a porn star) after they witnessed how easily a competent, smart woman could deflate a bag of sulfurous fumes in a presidential debate.
It is a painful injury to these self-hating women's egos, and they cope with that injury by taking the side of the loser only to debase themselves in front of the world with this:

Apparently, the woman who claimed she is a misogynist hates women who do not comport with HER ideas of who should be a presidential candidate. This would, of course, include any woman with a "D" after her name, no matter how qualified and competent that woman is.
Admirably, Mrs. Misogyny is equal in her disdain for Democratic and Republican women who do not meet her high standards of admiration for presidential candidates. Those high standards for her include supporting a convicted felon, adjudicated sexual assaulter/rapist, tax cheat, serial adulterer, pu##y grabber, liar and fraud for the presidency.
The word "misandrist" would never touch her lips.
This is the effect Trumpism has had on 45% of the voting public. It's not pretty, but it shows us how vulnerable many Americans are to snake oil salesmen/con men/grifters/liars/cheats. Millions of Americans blind themselves to these charlatans for god only knows for what reasons. Probably a lack of critical thinking. Or just plain naivete?
I guess this is mostly true. Repubs do like women that know their place though. They really like the attractive ones but even the Dick the Bruiser looking gals like MTG are popular with them as well.

Joe Conservative, TTWAW (The Troll Who's Always Wrong!) left a comment in "Comment Moderation" that links to his blog, which has a meme about VP Harris that says she's a prostitute.
This is typical of men who've been intellectually castrated by smarter, more competent, and more accomplished women than they are.
Joe Conservative and his friends at the Mother Ship are frightened, low-information, conspiratorial drones whose only "power" is defaming, denigrating, demeaning, and disparaging a woman who outsmarted their guy who wears orange make-up, hairsprays his thinning bleached tresses, wears lifts in his shoes, a girdle to control the blubber around his waistline, and got his daddy to help him avoid serving his country because of bone spurs! To them, Trump is the epitome of "manliness!"
Because of VP Harris's indisputable triumph on Tuesday night, it is evident that these small-minded, frightened, and sad little human beings now realize the threat she poses to MAGA world. If she wasn't a real threat, they'd ignore her.
Harris won the debate and I don't think that is debatable. She was well coached and actually did what she was told unlike trump who reverted to his old ways. I listened to it on the wireless and thought she won and when I speed watched it on the tele I saw her excellent facial expressions which were very well rehearsed and presented. She did get away without providing any answers to any question. You have all the ideas what have you done for the last three years, why did you change your opinions on everything and why should people believe you. Somehow the moderators didn't do follow up on anything and trump was so into his anger he missed a lot of opportunities.
Now did the debate convert to votes for either candidate, doubt it and that is why the polls still show them tied. The felon against the attorney and neither one has an advantage in the polls which shows the loyalty of the trump devotees and the misgivings with harris. The seven swifties who are old enough to vote will not cause the percents to change and it will stay a very close race.
Since RFK,jr bowed out, West seems to be the best candidate.
skud, VP Harris was a prosecutor. You've forgotten that in that capacity, she learned how to handle liars and con men. I don't think she needed much coaching, since her whole career before she was a US Senator/VP was in law enforcement and courtroom appearances against criminals.
I don't expect you to give VP Harris ANY real credit for her accomplishments. That would go against your nature.
Also, pols change their positions on issues when new information comes to them, and, yes, when it suits their ambitions. Trump used to be for abortions, now he's against them, except for six weeks, until he realized six weeks is not popular, so he changed his mind, and then the Evangelicals were upset with him for being against the six weeks, so now he's for it.
Funny. You only mention when Democratic pols change their minds, never when Republicans, like, say, your choice, Nikki Haley, who said, "Donald Trump was too old, too chaotic, too unhinged, and too prone to temper tantrums to be president again," then she enthusiastically endorsed that mess for the presidency!
In a country of some 340+ million people, we'll always have a certain percentage of stupid people who are easily duped by con men like Trump. Didn't some wise sage once say that the Stupids will always be with us?

Harris: intelligent, accomplished, has integrity, has compassion, extremely capable, concerned about All Americans, empathetic, a natural leader, WILL make a competent and successful President.
Trump: 6 banckruptcies - including a casino, a rapist, an insurrectionist, a tax cheat, a narcissistic, a. Misogynist, a zenophobe, a pathological liar, Unintelligent, ignorant, and the unsuccessful former gut.
Obvious Choice: Harris

That’s great. I’m in a condo in the city, so no political signs are allowed, even in the windows of my condo. But I’ll see if my relatives in the suburbs are interested.
