General John Kelly: "He said that, in his opinion, Mr. Trump met the definition of a fascist, would govern like a dictator if allowed, and had no understanding of the Constitution or the concept of rule of law."

AMERICAN CHOSE THIS ABERRATION:

In the middle of a unfathomable tragedy, the incoming POTUS makes fun of California's governor's name, something one would expect of a 4-year old.

Trump once again showing his tragic and utter uselessness as a leader.

Trump's posting on his social media platform isn’t something an intelligent person would do in the thick of a tragic crisis.

Trump isn’t helping anyone or anything by doing this in the first 24 hours. That's something you do and say once people have stopped fleeing for their lives!

The above-social media posting by Trump is a perfect example of his narcissistic behavior -- his dominant trait.

And that trait will continue to show us and the world that he is the worst thing that's happened to America.

From someone smarter than Trump and who knows the facts:

HEATHER COX RICHARDSON: In contrast to federal support for California under Biden, in the midst of the ongoing crisis President-elect Donald Trump blamed California governor Gavin “Newscum and his Los Angeles crew” for the fires, suggesting he had put the needs of fish over the people of California. He posted: “Governor Gavin Newscum refused to sign the water restoration declaration put before him that would have allowed millions of gallons of water, from excess rain and snow melt from the North, to flow daily into many parts of California, including the areas that are currently burning in a virtually apocalyptic way.” "Let this stand as a symbol of the gross incompetence and mismanagement of the Biden/Newsom duo,” Trump posted. “January 20th cannot come fast enough!"
Newsom’s office responded: “There is no such document as the water restoration declaration—that is pure fiction. The Governor is focused on protecting people, not playing politics, and making sure firefighters have all the resources they need.”
Trump is apparently claiming that water that could be used to fight the fires has been diverted to protect the endangered Delta smelt. But the water systems in California are complicated, and importing water from northern California would make no difference for the wildfires.
Los Angeles water doesn’t come from northern California. It comes from an aqueduct east of the Sierra Nevada, from groundwater, and from the Colorado River. Right now, the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California has more water stored than it has ever had before, according to Mark Gold, a board member. “It’s not a matter of having enough water coming from Northern California to put out a fire,” he told Alastair Bland of CalMatters. “It’s about the continued devastating impacts of a changing climate.”

Hydroclimatologist Peter Gleick told Taryn Luna, Liam Dillon, and Alex Wigglesworth of the Los Angeles Times that Trump’s linking of water policy to the raging fires was “blatantly false, irresponsible and politically self-serving.”

An indecent piece of human flesh now straddles what used to be a respected and honored office. No longer is it respected or honored . You Know Who has done nothing but brought disgrace and shame to the office as well as the United States of America.

Trump has a legitimate right to try and make whatever political points he desires. However, common decency calls for our presidents to express sympathy and solidarity with the victims who have lost loved ones, their homes, pets and more.

To date, he's not shared any comforting words to the thousands of ppl impacted. All the while being laser focused on Greenland. And the gulf of Mexico. And Canada.

He seems to not have the ability to publicly express empathy, perhaps because he sees it as an expression of weakness.

I don't think Trump thinks expressing empathy is a sign of weakness. I think he is not able to express empathy because he's a malignant narcissist, and that personality trait precludes thinking of anyone else's feelings but one's own.

America has seen for the past 9 years that Trump makes EVERYTHING -- about himself. And he also is mostly uninformed about most of the subjects he blathers on about.

I’ve seen Trump attack Newsom, I’ve seen him spread disinformation, I’ve seen him blame Biden & I’ve seen lie about the state’s emergency response to the crisis, but has he extended any condolences? Has he expressed any worry or concern? Promised a helping hand?

As for Canada becoming a state, I would think each province would have to be a state. There are 10 provinces and three territories. We would have to let Puerto Rico in on this deal too. Besides the House seats there would be 28 new Senators, almost all blue.

And as for Canada, Greenland, and the Gulf, he did stuff like this before and they were always a distraction for something he was doing and trying to keep below the radar.
