WE REMEMBER

Everything Cheney states in this Tweet is a verifiable FACT.

And Americans voted to put this felon back in the WH.

We are a broken country.

Liz is fearless in defense of truth.

Guessing that after this latest attesting to the truth she'll most certainly be target #1 in the cross hairs of You Know Who's retribution hit list.

Again... where are the people defending the president elect and arguing that his statements are true?

Not to be found.

Rather, they focus on the actions of others, as if immorality by one somehow excuses the actions of another. I'm willing to go out on a limb and say they never learned that from their parents and grandparents, the very ppl they claim made up our "greatest generation."

Instead I bet most of us here grew up learning that George Washington could not tell a lie, Lincoln was known as Honest Abe for a reason and just because Johnnie got away with "it", that was no reason for us to emulate him. Because as we were taught, two wrongs never make a right.

In a sense, especially for ppl of faith, we were taught at a young age to live virtuous lives, lives we wanted other to follow. Lives of respect.

I only hope the Dems, desperate as they are and will be to regain power in DC do not take on the worst impulses of DJT and try to essentially out do his nastiness in their efforts to regain that elusive control.

I find it interesting that the three religions that are primed to support authoritarianism are the three that are monotheistic. Judaism, Christianity and Islam. The three most judgemental religions are founded on the struggle between good and evil, right and wrong, good and bad, us and them. And guess who got to decide. To the Victor goes the spoils.

The study of the various spiritual paths and religions of humankind is perhaps one the most interesting endeavors I've ever undertaken.

The big three do not stand up well under the microscope of the open discerning and seeking mind. The truth found in their histories is certainly not complimentary.

A god who woud pass infinite judgment in hell for a finite sin seems more than a tad unethical.
